In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Like I see some balls at the local exotic pet shop in deplorable conditions. How come they aint messed up. I know they aint indestructible but they can take a little abuse in there environment. Something is very wrong with this one.

No if there was a problem with the shipment, the snake would of expressed such behaviors of overheating that night and even as soon as he pulled her out. Something changed in her behavior for feeding her to the next day.

Was the mouse contaminated with some kind of chemical at the breeding facility just before being gassed. You will never know!

Haha you got to go with the simplest explanation. Why not aliens infesting her mind though another dimension. That sounds more reasonable then chemicals in the mouse!

Thomas, you might think its silly but it doesnt hurt to throw ideas out there. What if it were a bad mouse, what if it were the cologne you were wearing? All we are trying to do is help pinpoint what exactly went wrong, whether you look bad or the seller look bad, it doesnt matter at the end of the day. Theres certainly an ill snake and to help you get a reasonable answer and to help prevent this issue in the future for anyone else we have to throw ideas out there. Aliens certainly isnt the answer. Contaminated mice might be.

There is something that happened in your care that caused this. Stop going off on a tangent like a mouse being contaminated is impossible.

Either something with that mouse, or the heat tape

Lets hope she makes it till tomorrow. I see her right now with her head flipped upside down.

Why not just the snake has a serious developmental problem due to chance, and that it's not a healthy specimen and I am due a refund?

Tom, I understand we are really being pains, but we are trying to help. The rodent one is a decent one, but the issue would likely be with any animal eating the bad food, not just one. For the first 15 or so days, the snake was fine? Also, do you keep spider gene morphs regularly? I've had some real bad ones over the years. One progressively got so bad that she could not even strike correctly. Would miss a F/T by a goof half a foot when lined up.

That is a close minded response. The TOS is 30 days so it doesnt matter whether the snake is bad or you made a mistake. I know its hard to admit you were wrong but in this case the refund is for 30 days so the seller has that to deal with. I cant comment on that but im saying even if you did make an honest mistake you have at least consider it a viable possiblility.

There have been cases of some hatchlings being weak specimens and fail to thrive. But usually dont make it this long in life. Usually make it to about month old and die, If that is the case then yes you are due a refund, but its soo uncommon to see weak genes in reptiles.

What are your intentions with the snake if the vet says its a non reversible neurological issue?

If it's not IBD and she can live with what she has then I will keep her if I can get some money back from rob. I was told and sold a snake with minimal wobble I had breeding plans for, and this one is a serious disaster if it is even that.

If she can't eat or drink and dies i want my money back. I thought she would be dead by now by the way she was acting in the first video.

I am not opposed to keeping her. You also have to understand that price should be a "pet" price because this snake can't and shouldn't be breed like this. She is probably worth maybe 100 dollars as a pet snake.

Thats what I think it is

I haven't read this entire thread, and I don't have time to catch up on it now...but I will say that there is some serious misinformation being spewed.

I know you said spider x spider is fine but maybe this is it.

Please keep up updated with the vet results. Id love to see her pull through. keep her warm, on paper and with plenty of water in her dish in the mean time. hopefully she will calm down.

Do you keep other spider gene balls? And the snake was fine for the first 15 days? Little to no wobble can turn to a bad wobble very quickly, and can never be considered as a legitimate argument. Finally, even though both parents carry the spider gene, only one transfers to the baby, thus no super version. Am I correct on that?
