In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I don't care about ads right now. I care about snakes and not making this worse. Rob's got to act like a big boy and tell me what is going on, on his end. He is not being very corporative right now and if more animals die because of him that would just be a damm shame.

You are all panicked now, your ignorant reading is unwarranted. Rob has offered his help, you have avoided answering his question. What I cant understand is how you had this snake for the time you did and now its got an illness that is a quick acting terminal illness?

Let me ask you what other morph and kinds of snakes do you own?

I need to know if your pythons are with your boas and if you had any mites lately. The vet is going to ask you that when you speak to him. I need to know because I don't want to loose my collection and many anymore animals suffer. Do you understand me?

I just have ball pythons.

You can look at your newly ruined snake and see there are no mites. My question to you is do you have other kinds of snakes and if so what kind? Do you have an issue with mites or recently had an issue with mites within your collection? Have you done any treatments just in case you might have gotten a snake with mites?

Quit commenting back with google search results on how IBD can POSSIBLY be transmitted or the effects on pythons. There is no sure way IBD is transmitted, there is studies stating it can be airborne which would not matter if the Boas and pythons are in same room or not! Some say its direct contact to the infected from hand to hand and so forth.

But ill do this once more cause i think you missed the big bold black.

IT'S NOT IBD

As for your comment about why would anyone QT beyond IBD, well you have RIs which can be spread due to bacteria to another, mites just to name a few. And if you say your place isnt big enough to QT them all in their own rooms, why buy so many at once. Buy what your can properly deal with at one given time, once QT is up, then buy more.

No i have never had mites. I just have ball pythons. No mites ever. No illnesses besides some minor scale rot when I first started.

If you were worried about IBD you wouldnt be keeping the snakes in same room. And the other snakes would start to express similar symptoms of IBD when there is an infected in the room.

Ive seen it first hand wipe out and entire collection of 500+ snakes in matter of DAYS.

You said that you didn't have heat on this snake because you hadn't finished the rack.
You also said that you got a bunch of snakes at the same time. Were those snakes all off of heat for the same amount of time?

Are all of the animals you got on the same day in the same quarantine room?

How many sellers did you get animals from on that day?

You said you got a bunch of snakes and this is the only one that has issues, thus the question about housing. Since she's in a separate room, her husbandry is still a question, right?

This is way beyond husbandry. Just look at the video. Common dude. Husbandry you got to be kidding me. The snake is near death very suddenly. Husbandry is not going to cause that.

Not true. I read a story online that a corn got it and the pythons were fine. I am hoping that if it is the case isolation will be alright for me.

To this day i have NEVER read a documented case of a Colubrid getting IBD. IBD is a disease specific to boids, where crypto is specific to colubrids.

So like I said stay off google, its not helping your case on this situation.

For crying out loud, are you serious with this?

Stop being ignorant and saying that I know nothing. That is just a blind statement. I understand that this sucks but I need you to be an adult about it.

I said, "you know nothing like this happens overnight". Read it again.

Then there's this:

I really need you to work with me here. There is a lot at stake. I am not just going to believe what a much of morons say on some forum. We are talking about a lot of animals here. I need you to tell me the facts. Forget about the 650 for a second there is more on the line right now.

What are you talking about? Are you back to the IBD theory now?

So hes calling people a bunch of morons who been keeping and breeding for over 20+ years.

So i guess 2 years keeping and reciting google searches on a disease he knows nothing about qualifies him a expert. The guy knows nothing about what hes doing, if hes not going to listen to US morons, why is he reading other forums and reciting that info to us like hes a Pro.

To the OP regardless of your TOS, I wouldnt refund a DIME to him. He is on a searching rampage trying to find answers where there are none. This isnt IBD nor is what is happening your fault. Two weeks later snake shows problems of Neurological distress.

He is not being very corporative right now and if more animals die because of him that would just be a damm shame.

How can you point a finger at Rob when you didn't quarantine any of your new animals separately? If she does truly have some mystery illness, how can you say with any certainty that one of the other balls that came in that day wasn't harboring it? You said it yourself. Asymptomatic.
