    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Tony Hurts Genetic Guarentee??? (HETS)

I've been following this thread for awhile and recently started debating on whether or not to post. I bought a 100% het clown from Tony about 3 years ago. I used my x-mas bonus to by it as my present to myself. I never got any paperwork but was assured it was produced by one of his partners. Now I'm starting to wonder if its even a het now. I bought from Tony because of his good reputation and now I'm wondering if I'm going to be eating the cost of that deal. It ate great for a few meals then would only eat 6 - 8 times a year. I sold him stated as I got him and advised the buyer he was a picky eater. Naturally it made a liar outta me and took off for the new owner and I believe was bred this season. Not sure if there were any eggs produced.

I never recieved any paperwork with him and everytime I e-mailed or called I was told it would be sent with a picture ID. Never got it and after awhile the responses stopped coming from Tony. In June the following year I met Tony in person and he didn't even remember selling me the het clown much less anything we discussed about the poor eating habits. Go figure.

I haven't posted before because I never really thought about it since I haven't had BPs for awhile and my computer with the e-mails blew the motherboard. I have the hard drive but the computer shop told me to not expect much. If I can get the old hard drive running I'll see if I can pull the e-mails from it.

Well, it seems that Tony's track record is starting to prove itself.. the minute one of his customers are not happy with what they got, he seems to turn face. I find it rather pathetic that Tony can sit there and call himself a business man, when to me, he is selling normals and passing them off as hets..

If he can't produce paperwork to prove the validity of his claims, then he should seriously reconcider what he is doing and realize that he is commiting fraud.

What a shame.... well it will all come back and bite him in the rear or on the family jewels....
 
although highly unlikely it is still possible to produce no visibles in 2 years of breeding a homozygous to a heterzygous.

I just wanted to add that to the conversation.

On the other hand...no calls and a track record of avoiding people that have problems with him...maybe not a bad guy...but a guy to be carful with when dealing with.
 
I am on both sides of the fence.

I have been reluctant to post to this thread as I believe the original posters claim as I have had friends who have recieved less than stellar animals from Tony. It was a subadult that was obviously a failure to thrive when they opened the box, not a breedstock quality animal.

Although I do have to admit that a monetary investor bought 3 poss het albino adult balls from tony last year brought them into a shared colony that I belong to and one of the animals proved to be a het this year. One proved not to be, and one didn't lay so we will see on here next year.

I think that care needs to be headed when dealing with any online transaction, especially when breedstock animals are being purchased for thier het statuses.

I am seeing more and more dealers/resellers that are getting burned by a few different facets, some thier own fault and some that are not:

1. Good dealer, gets bad "hets" from one of his suppliers
2. Good dealer has animals without photo i.d.s sometimes true hets get mixed up in the rack or on the way to and from a show with non-het animals. (I myself had a helper last year mix a litter of 20 het albino boas with 15 normals, when packing up after a show, although he fessed up to it-but if not I might have inadvertantly sold a non het as a het)
3. Mediocre/Bad dealer gets into a tight spot or a grey area and sells an animal without divulging the whole story
4. Mediocre/bad dealer treats his buddies and repeat customers great, but sends out b-grade, sick, and/or scammer animals to strangers/internet orders/deemed "nonimportant" customers.
5. Bad dealer may outright fraud people on animals but may also sell a genuine animal here and there simply becuase they are making money on it too.

Although, I have seen it here on fauna that a #1 and #2 seller is convicted due to his attitude. And when a #3 or #4 guy fesses up and says sorry then they are treated like a good guy again. Usually #5 guys are found out.

I have been guilty of flying off the handle, and refusing to work with a customer(believe it has been 2 in ten years), and I still believe I was in the right. However, I fully believe if someone turns a blind eye, refuses to work with you on a "reasonable claim", or gets threatening right off the bat is usually trying to hide thier mistake and make you go away.

I have also seen a lot of guys in this industry get into a little trouble so they are unable to make good right away on a problem but instead of saying "dude, I need a few months to make it right" they try and bully thier way out of the refund.

I cannot tell what is going on in this situation but I feel that the initial poster deserves some compensation.

Still nothing. I think there are more people out there that Tony has taken advantage of and they just don't want to get into a mess like this thread. But hopefully they see what kind of person Tony really is and helps educate others about his devious ways. Paul

Please tell that the little prick has finally settled up with you?

Find out if he\'s going to Daytona or another big show and just bust a face to face contact deal with her, opps, I mean him. 10 to 1 says he puss\'s down and hands you cash.
 
I think we all know that he has no intention on taking care of this matter or any other bad deals he has out there. I do not give it much more time before we see a snake evolutions going out of business sale. Please think long and hard before purchasing anything from this character. Paul
 
Hey Paul, have you tried calling the IRS to see if he\'s been paying taxes under his business name or even filing under the name of snake evolutions? I know the IRS will give rewards to ppl who point out shitheads like him who don\'t pay taxes on their biz.
 
Eggs should be pipping soon!!

The eggs from my het albino (which came from Tony Hurt) should be pipping tonight or tommorrow. I will keep everyone posted on the outcome.

Hey Travis, I have already posted on here once that proves you are a lying little name calling sneak that posts crap you can't back up, and you are still doing it! Tony does file and pay his taxes on his business because we use the same CPA.

You call Tony names and remark about him not defending himself, but you sure didn't dispute my post about you trying to back door me for info on Tony, as well as your BS accusations that he cheated me on a captive hatch deal last year.

I don't know Paul or anything about the dealings he had with Tony concerning the hets and I do not wish to getting into any discussion about it. The business that Tony and I have had together have been on co-doms only and we seperate the offspring and do our own thing. I will say that Tony has never done me wrong! I am at his facility often and it is a clean and very nice operation! I know what is bred to what, what goes in incubator and what comes out.

My gripe here is with Travis (or whatever his real name is). He keeps getting on here, calling names and stirring the pot with absolutely no verifiable contribution!

Travis, I am going to say it one more time. Shut your yap or back it up!

Well, it looks as if Tony scammed me too!!! Out of 5 eggs, all normals(hets). Yeah I realize that I could have just been unlucky with the odds, but with the other posts concerning his hets I am pretty sure she's not het. It's to bad, My wife and I actually thought he was an honest person when we went to his house, but I guess I was wrong. I sure would have liked to produce some albinos this year but thats less upsetting to me than the fact that I was blatantly lied to and believed it.

This whole thing sucks. I guess I don't have a chance in hell of seeing pieds next year. If 100% hets are bogus these 66% hets really don't stand a chance. But if they do prove I will post them. (wouldn't that be some shit though)
 
Patsy (patc) looks like your little golden child just had the last gasp!!!!LMFAO!!!! And that laugh is straight at Tony. I feel really bad for all these ppl that were phucked by Snake Evolutions. Unfortunately patsy (patc) you my fruend are a part of that, and the guilt is by association. You are all over his site as a business partner and that makes you a partner that can\'t be trusted. The only way I see you breaking through the untrustworthy ties of lies, cheating and deciet is to cash out pat. You will be known as the partner of a theif. As a Dave Lawson. If you are cool with that label, the world should be cool with that label, but you might be a little smarter than Chony-Tony with the Phoney Balogna hets.
