In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Top Shelf Exotics (Inquiry)

Chris. It would take just a moment, but if you post Fed Ex tracking numbers on your last 10 shipments, we can check the date on them and see if you are/were as busy as you claimed. See that way it would show that you were not lying. In all of your posts you have made no attempt to PROVE anything you say. NONE. Offer proof of something, anything, answer the pertinent questions

hey Chris, thanks first of all for including me in your message

You are correct, at first it appeared that their was some sense of genuineness on your part, so I gave you the benefit of the doubt until I began to realize that even under the worst case scenerio, people in business will bend over backwards to keep their clientel and relationship in a positive manner. Once you began restricting your obligations to paypal, credit card companies, and "move to the back of the bus" if you complain, no replys to emails, and the convenience of using Fedex as an excuse for not getting merchandize out as expeditiously as you should have, what avenues are left for me to convince myself that this is just poor business. Normal businesses do not pass the buck when it comes to money! Its a game with you, and if your life is turning into a shamble, their is no one to blame but yourself.

I would strongly suggest that you take control of the claims, make the refunds, and try to restore some balance to this. Otherwise , you may end up with a case of fraud. Personally, if the matter is not resolved, it would be best to just go out of business. Since that is going to be the final outcome. We both know that.

I must have missed it, but in that entire novel, there was no definitive answer given on the het/no het issue, whether or not TSE produces THEIR OWN bp morphs and hets or why sick snakes were sent out. Cmon Chris..PLEASE answer those questions for everyone.

I believe an a very cryptic way he stated that he was not going to get into a discussion on this issue.

You've received answers to this line of inquiry in the past Jeremy. You and I both know you are simply attempting to cause trouble as you have attempted to do in the past. You were told before we do not resell other breeders bp morphs as our own. If this was the case I would think numerous breeders would have stepped up by now to confirm your ASSumption. And to think I wasted the time honoring this garbage with an answer.

Perhaps you missed the following passage(s):

"I have nothing to contribute to stupidity or baseless assumption nor do I have the energy to battle with people we have not even done business with nor have any interest in amusing or pleasing. For those who wish to argue such things, they will continue to be ignored. I have more important matters to tend too such as my health and my business which is in shambles. I'd like to correct these things before playing in the sandbox. "

I nearly forgot about the ignore function of these forums..... I think this will be coming in quite handy! Look at that... just a few clicks and you have disappeared. -poof- Bye J!

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm quite tired. I have an appointment to make and a bed thats calling me. I'll be back around this weekend hopefully.

As I would have expected. For your info, its Jamie, not Jeremy and you have not answered that question at ANY point in this thread. I received an email from your lackey stating it, but I believe him about as much as you at this point. You could have handled this thread like an adult, provided the information as requested and been done with it. But apparently you felt being a condescending and foolish was a better idea. Continue to avoid Chris, its not MY reputation on the line.

Ks

I put a post on KS that merely stated that if anyone there had purchased hets from TSE would like to be on a list for future reference to contact me. I intentionally refrained from being accusatory or giving too many details. It was promptly deleted. I am awaiting an answer from them as to the reason. Not exactly a bastion of help for the hobby, are they....

Chris, I am not accusing you of fraud regarding your selling of hets as there is no current proof and any one that has directly done so may be out of line. The only thing I ever did was to raise the point of the validity of the genetics as TSE has lost credilibility. Until there is proof, there is only doubt and fear.

Something interesting... my genetic guarantees were signed by Chris but others I have seen where signed by Pat/Glenn Shelton.

If he posts the tracking numbers everyone couldnt everyone see who they were going to and have peoples personal home addresses when they put the tracking numbers in the system, some people might not want that out there as public information, or am i wrong.

Where the packages are coming from, going to and who signed for them, Yes. Personal addresses, No.

Just to be clear, I never accused Chris or TSE of anything. I simply asked a question that he felt that he didn't want to answer.

Chris, it looks like the only way to get a breather from this would be to verify the hets, and post some type of proof of the shipments.
Until then, I think this is just going to escalate further.

This is the information you get from a tracking number with UPS or FedEx. It does not give addresses, etc.

And if posting them on the forum is a concern, they could still be sent (email or PM) to a trusted party for verification, as has been done many many times on the BOI...

another wow

After reading Chris' last few avoidances, I mean posts, I see nothing but double talk and skirting of issues that are very easy to answer. But, because of his health issues, he chooses not to answer them. Understandable, kind of. BUT, instead of answering the questions posed to him that would take a few short lines, he writes paragraph upon paragraph that he will not answer those questions or continue with the arguments. This in itself bothers me. And reminds of of another lovely breeder who has a not-so-nice reputation here on the BOI that I HAVE dealt with.
As a professional who not only runs my own computer consulting business, has a full-time job, and raises 2 children as a single mother, as WELL as the small breeding projects I have going on for a few species, I can only say this - Chris, I am glad you have figured out how to double talk your way out of this situation in your own mind, but I know if I treated my clients the way you have, I would have no other person to blame than myself when watching my business drown. I would not blame a Pat or Glen, because even though they were trusted to take things over in your absence, you are not dead, and still have control. I have been very ill myself, even lost a baby in November at 4 months pregnant (not a regular miscarriage, but a full delivery), and yet life went on, the customers kept coming, and life still moved forward, no matter what MY issues were, because it HAD to. It's business Chris, and that is what you take on when you start one. If you were not able to continue in your business practice with your illness, and you did not have reliable people to continue in your practice to keep up your reputation that you have worked so hard to build, you should have put things on hold for awhile until you could take care of yourself. As a business person, I cannot believe that if I was ill and bed-ridden, I would still not be concerned over my business, if at least not getting updates or SOMETHING. I know, I've been there. Your excuses have not only gotten more pathetic, but your business sense seems to have left you during your illness (if you had any at all, I have no idea). I just want to know how you find the time to sit and post the novels you have on here, and then end them all with "I'm so tired, I'm going to bed, and you all suck" (poetic rephrasing rights taken here).
As far as Paypal and credit card refunds, let me educate some people on how that process works, since Chris seems to think it is so simple to fight it all. First of all, Chris, Paypal is NOT going to just "issue the refunds because I'll tell them to." Paypal has policies that they follow, and their denial process is automatic after 45 days of purchase, and just because YOU say so, does not mean they will do it. BUT you do have the power to send money anytime you want. OK, your account is locked. But why? Has it gone into the negative? Too many complaints? Are you BLAMING the people who have complained at this point for waiting in upwards of 6 months for an undelivered product, causing you this horrible issue with your account? Seeminly so. But they have a right to their product, and you took and spent their money without delivering it - that, legally is fraud, and I am surprised the authorities have not come knocking on your door for that. That seems to be the one good thing about being in a relatively unregulated industry such as reptile breeding.
Now, what about your credit card you used through Paypal? Do you know it can take up to, if not over, 90 days for your credit card company to fix this? And if you paid through Paypal, guess who the credit card company goes for first? Paypal. And then they get denied from Paypal because of length of time or lack of funds or whatever, and you fight a 3-6 month battle between Paypal and the credit card company, because each wants to blame the other, which you may or may not win in the end. How do I know this? First hand experience on the buyer side. So this is not one of the "ignorant" people that you so like to call your customers, this is a real life experience from a buyer's side.
Now, HERE'S the great part - if it is all settled and taken care of, even if Paypal takes all of these thousands of dollars from your current account and puts you thousands in the negative, people get their money back and everything, guess what Chris? You still win. You've spent the money that was paid to you. All you get is a Paypal account that you can't use. And truly, how hard is it to set up a new account with them and get verified? I did it in 20 minutes. So, you move the "utilities" that you have linked to the bad Paypal address to the good one, get that all set back up, even reset up your business with that new, verified, good account. And what happens with the bad one? They email you, and email you and email you, and that it is, they MIGHT take you to court or go to collections if it is an insane amount of money, but that is highly doubtful. Paypal is out a few thousand, not you. Again, how do I know this? Personal experience on the BUSINESS side of things - I am in the midst of someone fighting ME because he believes I was in breach of a web design contract when I wouldn't fix his site that he let someone else mess with (even though it is stated in my contract that I claim no responsibility, etc etc and off topic). So what did Paypal do? Took the money from me, which put me in the negative, locked my account up. What did I do to be able to continue business with other clients? Opened a new Paypal account in 20 minutes. So while all the fighting of the issue is going on, I can still continue my business with a clean slate with Paypal. Now, how you choose to fund this account (or any other account) to issue the refunds that are due is your problem, because one way or the other, those refunds are due. So set yourself up a new Paypal account with a different email, link it to a credit card, click the "Send Money" button, and start refunding. Not too difficult while you "work out" your issues with Paypal. You've got time to post your novels here, right? So after your nap, I'd suggest waking up in more ways than one...
One thing you fail to realize Chris - as much as your health problems are no one else's business or problem (which I agree with, and wish you well in), they are also not anyone else's problem either. Business is business, personal is personal, you have basically said that yourself. So, either get to doing the right thing (I even spelled it out for you on how in case you didn't know), or find a qualified person to do it for you (maybe your accountant - you must have one of those if you have a business, if for anything but tax purposes), and get yourself better (both physically and professionally).

Nicholas, since Chris seems to pick and choose which questions he will address, will you please copy and paste this? Thank you.

"Chris, will you please post the last 10 tracking numbers and prove to these people that you are not a big fat liar? Thanks Chris."

I think you will agree that answering this question will not "harm" Chris or his customers.

Why would you think he would answer that for me and not you? He is a grown man and has the capability of choosing who he will or will not answer. If you are out money or animals then you have a bigger stake in this thread then i do and might even have more of a chance of getting an answer then i do. He doesnt owe me anything, why should he answer me of all people? (other then being his friend). I am sure he saw the question before and decided not to answer or reply to it for some reason, only he knows. It never hurts to ask a question though, even if it goes unanswered. I think there are a lot of valid questions posted here, but no one can force him to answer any of them. Maybe he will validate your question with an answer maybe not.

Kelly,
Thank you for the in-depth explanation, which explains to many who may not have been familiar with the process that Chris' excuses are still a lot of hot air. Of the many things someone who has followed every post here could take from the latest round are the contradictions in explanations concerning Fed Ex and shipping. In earlier posts by Chris, his guys were both "too busy" and limited by the space FedEx had, to take on more than 20 packages. That was folly as we all know. In the latest explanation, which is more consistent with the speculation here, Chris acknowledges that he is behind on paying them, and sometimes is only able to create a 1-2 day window to get some shipments out. So its Chris' word against Chris' word? And if the shipping windows are restrictively small because FedEx has TSE on a short leash, then what of Dave and Glen (or Bob and Carol and Ted and Alice) on the non-shipping days, which are bountiful?

Does anyone have any confirmation that Chris is infact "sick". IMHO, it sounds like he is perfectly healthy and is just trying to "hide" from the people who he owes money and/or snakes. If his girlfriend (ex???) thought he was "at work" when someone called her would that mean that he is healthy enough to ship snakes???? I think someone should call her back and ask her if he is on his death bed.

On a side note, I am a full believer in things coming full circle for everyone sooner or later. Just as we are seeing now. Chris was one of the hardest of all the members on the "bad guys" and letting them know they are "bad" and now he is the one in the other peoples shoes. I wonder who of the people of this thread will be the next to have things come full circle on them. You all know it will happen sooner or later t always does. Take a look at the names at the bottom of the thread right now and think to yourself, which one do I think may end up being the subject of this kind of thread. When it happens will it be expected? of course not, it never is. Karma is a strange thing, we can't see it, smell it or feel it, but we know its there because situations like this thread let us know its there.
Karma has got Chris by the ****** now and he will have to deal with it until he makes things right by everyone that has ben affected by his company. But sooner or later karma will be done with him and move on to someone else.

Kelly,, with regard to this paypal business

the only way paypal would be able to pay back an account of Chris's is if their were funds that could be "taken back" I think we both know that this is not the case, because Chris has no funds to offer, so why he insists on telling everyone to file a claim with paypal is ludicrous!

When either the buyer or seller agrees to the terms of paypal, the are in effect waiving their right to an appeal through their credit card company. Even though the credit card co. may be sympathetic with the buyers delemma
once the credit card co. and paypal begin to correspond, paypal will be off the hook , and the credit card co. will have no alternative but to allow the transaction to stand as it originally was. You signed to that agreement whether you realized it or not!

Also, if you paid by paypal and received nothing for 2 months, and the seller has no funds in his "verified account" or goes out of business, you are out of luck as well. In both cases, Chris receives payment! completely denies the services, and avoids paying you back , is fraud!

I don't know everyone who has posted on this thread but I know quite a few of them. Quite frankly I can tell you that the poeple that I know have never displayed the arrogance that Chris has on Fauna.

You see Nick, some people are just bad people. No karma involved. Bad people do bad things. I tend to try not to associate with these types of people.

As far as Chris being hard on the "Bad Guys" - that would appear to be as Lucille would say "a red herring".
