Yes I am sure my ex whom I have not spoken with for quite some time, until recently when this was brought to my attention is quite aggrivated to say the least. And I am sure the ten year old who answered the phone greeted by a very rude and ignorant Robert England assumed I was working since normally that time of day it is what most people would be doing.

A lie, I was extremely polite, and while I may be many things lying and being ignorant are not on the list.

I have serious procedures in my future and for obvious reason I am not supposed to be working myself up or adding to an already stressful situation.

Commiting Fraud & Stealing from people, I guess can be stressful.

All will be covered, even if it means relocating to a cardboard box.

I certainly would hate to see you living in a cardboard box. I would much prefer to see you living in a 6 X 8 ft Jail Cell.

The above quote has bothered me since I read it the first time. Whatever Jenna is she is an ex-something and she has a ten year old. Both these people evidently live upstairs from where Chris either works or lives. Yet they have no idea he is gravely ill. It just doesn't make sense that people that had a relationship with someone wouldn't care whether he died or not. It's not as if Chris is hundreds of miles away. He's in the same building.

Paypal Clarification

Actually, Paypal will take funds from you and put you in the negative until things are cleared up. The chargeback that I am dealing with was approximately $800, and the money had been spent (ONLY because the contract had been fullfilled, and NOT beforehand), and when the chargeback was claimed, Paypal put me in the negative for whatever was not available in the account at the time to clear the chargeback. They also charge a $25 fee for investigation, so that set me back even further. Although they will not allow you to send money or have bills paid from the account while your account is in the negative, the account can still RECEIVE funds at any time, unless it is cancelled by Paypal themselves. Until you bring yourself back into a positive balance with them, they will not allow money out, but they will allow money IN. The ONLY reason I have not paid myself back into the positive with them is because I am fighting his chargeback, and am confident (according to my lawyer) that the chargeback will be reversed.
I have had LONG conversations with Paypal regarding this, and this is pretty much the way it works. You just keep going further and further into the negative if claims are placed against you (funds available or not), until they get mad enough to cancel you.
Just wanted to clarify where I got my knowledge.

Karma has got Chris by the ****** now and he will have to deal with it until he makes things right by everyone that has ben affected by his company. But sooner or later karma will be done with him and move on to someone else.

I do not think so, the situation is due to Chris's actions and inactions.

Well it does seem to answer a few things. He couldn't ship all this time because FedEx wants money to ship. Chris for what ever reason only has funds to ship every now and then. We could guess that when he sells an animal he uses a small part of that to ship a couple animals.. Now his income from TSE is shut down so he can't ship anything so can't post tracking numbers for shipments that haven't happened.

Myself I think TSE is and has been a one man operation and for whatever reason Chris got behind, could be that he has some medical bills he had to pay but it doesn't really matter what the reason was if he was honest and fessed up way back when I'm sure most would have understood and there would have been only a small blemish on Chris's reputation. Instead he choose to try to BS his way through and now has no reputation well not a good one anyway.

Chris everyone here is waiting on some Logic and reason from you we haven't seen any yet. What is the logic in what you are now doing and tell us the reason you did all this to people who trusted you. but how does this relate to Chris? He wants people to file claims (so I understand this correctly) with a negative balance! Am I correct about this?

In either case, the claimant will never see anything because in the end, paypal will eventually close the account and everyone forfeits, at least the claimants do.

Its a bit tricky when third party "inbetweeners" get involved, So all other options are closed according to my calculations. Chris is just stalling for time, basically because I believe that he will eventually hire an attorney, or file for bankruptcy, which will "freeze any impending litigation" until he can make a decision as to what he intends to do with this mess. I personally would file a criminal charge against him, and have him arrested. I dont think this is a normal going out of business venture but a calculated ploy to get as much as he can before going out of business.

Something to ponder. Can you just imagine how Chris would act on here if it was his thousand plus dollars lying in limbo. I can only imagine what his reaction would be. But it is funny how he acts now, that he is the one holding the hard earned funds.

Is there any breeders out there that sold Chris the snakes that produced these Hets? If so, please be ever so kind as to give us a update as to were Chris's breeders came from.

So if I order something online, pay with my Mastercard and that company never delivers... I should ask Mastercard for a refund, because the "online company" said it would be more "efficient" ???

SURE everyone can fall on hard times. That doesn't mean by a LONG SHOT that they will "do" people like Chris did. And Karma is what is happening to Chris. Because you cannot do stuff like this and expect to get away with it.

I think Chris is trying to buy time, trying to keep people from turning him in.

He can write 1000 word essays on why he can't answer 2 questions.

Yes but you have a documented request for funds, , and so you have now cleared the way for legal reprisals against TSE. The very first step everyone involved in trying to get money back might consider doing is to either make the above request, and/or send a certified letter with signature request, asking Chris/TSE for a specifically described refund, keeping a copy of the letter and the receipts.

So much for his excuse of having no funds to refund people with, because they are "frozen" due to people filing claims...LOL

How dramatic. IF he hadn't spent money that wasn't his to spend, without delivering what was bought with it, he would HAVE the money to refund with.

I would advise everyone to compile all the info they have and fax it, send it to all and any related officials, FBI, Police Deptartment, etc.

hmmm well, i may have been proven wrong then by the paypal situation. maybe my case is a bit different because i had funds (partial) to cover some of the chargeback, and maybe chris has none, and that is why it is different?
the point i was making mainly was that paypal is not that tough to get around business wise (just set up a new account), and his "power" over paypal to just do what he says is not there. i may have gone off on a tangent about it, and i apologize for that. again, there are differences in the situation that could cause differences in the outcome.
i agree that everyone should still attempt to file against him with paypal for documentation though. then call the DA's office. if there are no funds, he spent them without delivery of product, which could be called fraud, and possibly breach of contract?? this definetely warrants some sort of action.
chris, so if paypal is approving refunds but there's no money, how do you now propose to resolve this? you spent the money, no denying that, so what are your plans?

I dont believe confucious had anything to do with Karma, But if the job for Dali lama opened up i might consider it Besides i was just pointing out something from my perspective.

Chris has already described his company is being in a severe financial, as well as organizational bind, so the fact that there is no money in paypal shouldn't come as a shock.

I don't believe Fedex waiting for them to pay their current charges before they are allowed ship again, is an indication of financial security. For those that have sent funds, requested refunds and/or have not rec'd your animals he's pretty much answered you. There's no money, he's responsible and you'll will get paid when there is money and not before, it may be in the form of a size large TSE t-shirt(used). Now that should satisfy you guys.

Now for Bob(I believe you're the one that rec'd the sick imports). He's avoiding answering you like the plague.

I purchased four (4) 100% Het. Albino females from you and received them and the paperwork signed by you on 6 April 05. My question is: Where did your Albino breeding stock come from during this time? With all this stuff going on could you help put my fears to rest? Also, if anyone reading this thread has sold Chris an Albino Ball Python, what's the big deal in letting us know? I think that as a past customer this is not too much to ask, considering this situation. When I purchased from you, I never questioned it.

I just would like to add about the whole Glen Pat Chris debate.

The emails I received from Glenn/Pat were in the exact tone and diction that Chris has responded with. Maybe they work so closely that they talk the same way, Maybe. As far as answering ANY questions, Pat/Glen were the EXACT same way.

I would ask

1. Can you update me on the promised pictures?
2. What is the current weight
3 What is the hatch date
4. What temp is the lowest you can ship at?

The response was always the same. "I hope you read the TOS"

I would think to myself. Hell yes, I read the TOS, its going to be above 40F low for then next five days. Why do you think I am emailing you to clarify. I should have my snake right now if we are following the TOS.

I would then email back stating the first three questions again and that the current temp meets the TOS. What was the reply to that NOTHING. Only on a few cases would I get a response a week or two later stating that it was too cold. Of course it was too cold, it was a week or two later.

Here is another to make us all feel a little worse. Read the emails from TSE to "Northum" about the 43 g hets that died on arrival. In that email Pat/glenn(Chris) states on Oct. 5th 2005 that Chris has been sick for a LONG time, and that is the reason for the long delay in responses. Well. Every email I have states he became ill in late novemeber 2005. You know in most cases we would all look at that and go "big deal" they were off three months. In this cases it just makes us all that much more sick to our stomach.

There are a few points about this discussion that bother me, and right at the top of the list is Chris telling everyone to file claims with PayPal and their credit card companies for their due refunds. Well with credit card companies, you get hit with what is called a "chargeback" when someone files a claim against your taking funds from their account for a purchase. In other words, YOUR account is charged BACK the money you took from your customers credit card account. In some instances they will charge you a fee for every chargeback you incur, and it becomes a black mark on your record. Kind of a credit rating thing. Quite honestly, if I were to come across hard times, no matter the cause, the LAST thing I would want to do if I were intending to remain in business would be to burn the bridge with my credit card company in that manner. Do you REALLY think they are going to be enthused about keeping your business if they have dozens or even hundreds of chargeback claims against you? That is their measurement of your credit worthiness with them.

Maybe PayPal is different, but honestly I would treat them the same way. Don't kill the conduit for your income if you are going to be remaining in business.

So in other words, refund the money direct. No matter what. At least you still have your credit worthiness with those companies that are handling the financial transactions that keep your business alive. To do it the way Chris is suggesting, in my opinion, is just plain BAD business, both short term, and long term.
