Actually, I did have had CBB ball pythons that small before. But I agree, after a few meals, they were not that small. Considering the hoppers they were eating were 40 grams.

Let me explain it this way. A childhood friend of mine got himself into a huge amount of trouble due to his drug habit and held up a store and got caught. He did 8 yrs in prison (rahway state prison). During his stay thier i sent him goody bags (candy, smokes, stuff like that) for 8 yrs. Just because he went to prison for doing such a bad thing doesnt make him no longer my friend. He saved my butt many times when we were teen agers and he will be my friend for life, and the christian in me tells me to forgive everyone. ( not to keen on the slap in the face and turning the other cheek thing though). My point being that I personally and affording him the benefit of the doubt in the hopes he will straighten this all out and make good to everyone that he owes.

Better stock up on goodies.

I was interested in where he may have purchased his breeding stock that he uses to produce the TSE hets. and such. He had to start somewhere??? I would find it hard to believe that all his breeding stock was imported. He must have purchased his breeding stock from someone. I sure hope the hets are hets.

I miss read your last post, I thought you were asking if TS produced them or they were purchased. At this point I am sure lots of people would love to hear that he bought dozens of hets from Kahl or Clark, but I guess not. I hope your hets prove out also Mike, eggs this yr, or next?

The reason I asked the question about difference in size between TSE and Peter Kahl was because I called Peter on Wednesday of last week spoke with him for a hour in the am the next day (thursday) I had a pair of HET balls at my door.
I filed with paypal on 4/24 they came back today ruled in my favor because TSE did not respond to paypals inquiry. Paypal also stated that there was no money in TSE's account to pay me back with. Chris why did you take money out of your account before shipping the snake, why didn't I get a response to cancel my order? How can someone with a larger operation ship animals the same day but you can't respond to my emails for weeks at a time or paypals for over a week?

I'm glad you had a good experience with Peter (not at all surprising).

But I think the service you received from Peter versus that we are seeing from TSE has less to do with size and more to do with integrity.

That's exactly right, I never asked for paperwork when I purchased my hets from Brian Sharp and they have proved out. That whole guarantee thing is only as good as the person who writes it.....

Stan, I think it's safe to say you aren't going to get any real answers to those questions. I emailed Chris again at HIS email address (as he requested) as well as the sales address last night. He would answer them when he had time to get to the computer, he says.

Well, he had time to post on here this morning, but I still got no reply.....not that I anticipated one, really.

If at least I had gotten a reply at SOME TIME, I wouldn't be so dang sick about this whole thing. That, and the sick animals going out.....which he has never once addressed that I am aware of. I don't feel he has left any of us any option but to pursue this through legal channels.

Well, if both truly are hets, I think that you have about a 13.5% chance of getting no visuals if all 7 hatch. Could be wrong there, but in any case, if you get none, you have a relatively high degree of certainty that you won't get any next year either, as what is not factored in is the chance that the animals are not het to begin with, which increases exponentially if you get no visuals. Put another way, if you are unlucky and fall into that 13.5% with animals from Pete or Brian or other notables, you were just unlucky. If you fall into that 13.5% with critters from someone ethically challenged as Chris aka TSE are now, you've been had.

Yeah, if I fall into that 13.5% then another season will be in order, with 2 Pied x het breedings. If that fails to prove out, then I guess my commiserators (on Jason's list) and I will have to pursue a class action.
IF... nobody's hets prove out, think we'll qualify for a class action suit????

the best that you can get on a class action suit

is if you paid and never received anything. Beyond that, unless you have a geneticist or a vet knowledgeable about snake genetics. I think you would be out of luck unless they were brought into the suit. With regard to paper work that you received from Chris, that guarantees the snakes, then, would be a different story. Their the answer is Fraud and that would include those who paid in advance and received nothing. Any type of advertising would be helpful if anyone has any that shows Chris or TSE offering these snakes would be of value in a criminal indictment.
