Well, I do not know if (Quote: "Chris's Reptiles") is our same Chris of TSE. But if it is, he may be trying to collect funds to cover some of his debts here, his expected court costs/lawyer, or needing to get his fix. The last would be a great excuse to run his scam under another name. Any of the reasons except refunding the ones he scammed, are great reasons to shut this down before he gets a chance to gain from it.
I was the one that called his bluff on the " so called death bed illness". And I would not doubt he has a real problem with more than just finding funds to live on. I trained thoroughbred race horses for a good while years ago, IMO it would fit into his demeanor here, spending other peoples money. I have seen straight people turn bad, as well as taking up habits that fit this same profile. Some people get money and just go wild.
I would not be surprised in the least if he gave in to the same way of life.
Chris, I would suspect you are still keeping up with this thread. If so, Don't think I am taking up for you, I am not!! You made your choices, and you must pay for your mistakes/choices. If this is you, then I will repeat an old saying. Robbing Peter to pay Paul. If this is your intensions, then you are dead wrong. If it is to get other needs fixed, you are still dead wrong. I would say your actions are inexcusable. You deserve your just rewards from all of these people that paid you in good faith. May you get everything you deserve when they win this case.
Bob, Cathy, and all of the others that were taken in by Chris. I want to also say that my family and I are more than happy to give to this cause. I hope the funds collected from us will help in this fight against these wrong doings. I have been scammed a few times, and I can relate with each of you. My family will stand behind all of you that got caught in his trap.
