Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

You just got played by him. Tim is perfectly capable of coming here and posting. But instead, he sends a highly inflammatory email to you and you go right ahead and post it. You played right into his hands.

I understand that, however, it is still inflamatory to NERD. MY point for my post was that I saw no evidence of some frightening kill off of animals at NERD during the time I was there. No rushing me out of rooms to avoid seeing anything I shouldn't, etc. All I saw was healthy, robust animals.
 
Can we find anything else to bash Jen over the head for? She is going through a pretty trying time right now and maybe she aint quite as on the ball as she may usually be. Why dont you people cut her a little slack.

She may not be quite on the ball but that doesn't excuse her from using a little common sense.
 
Obviously we all see the world differently, Dennis. I see someone who made a bonehead mistake without thinking, as I am sure every single person on this board has been guilty of at one time or another. What I dont see is someone who did anything with any intent to harm anyone. So in my view of the world they deserve a little slack.

jen, you may not know of it but tim has a bigger boner for mat lerer than bud meirky does for bruce stephensen. Lil, well not really as he too is elephantine in size, timmy bowels has lied, set up web sites defamning Matt, called his employer accusing Matt of being a pedophile, lied on every site he has ever been on. He's just a through and through scumbag.

Sammy, while on the one hand I agree with you that she's had a rough time and could probably use a break, that is no excuse to let her help a known scumbag like timmy sink another dart.

I also had a thorough tour of NERD, during the last week of August before Daytona.

I was going to be in the area to visit a relative and emailed Kara beforehand asking if I might be able to get a tour, since I am the newsletter editor for my local herp society and thought it would make a good story.

Kara didn't know me from anyone, and I wasn't even buying anything, and took at least 2 good hours out of her busy day to give me a tour of the whole facility, when she could have been preparing for the big show. I saw every single room in their breeding facility and the whole downstairs pet shop, and saw no sick animals.

They even let me snap a few photos of a just-pipped-that-day clutch of BPs, of an unnamed new morph, RIGHT BEFORE one of the biggest shows of the year.

If they had something to hide, they really have a funny way of showing it.

Funny...how could you do all that when their place was forclosed on, when it was locked up with chains strong enough to hold King Kong, when according to anonymous sources they have no animals left because their whole collection has died ten times over from a dozen different diseases in the last year, when Kevin is in jail for smuggling anoles in his arse across state lines, and when Kara ran off to live with Jasballs in a state of Jasbliss? How could this be??? How could you have been there and seen these things??? :rofl:

LOL Matt, well for a guy who has Tim lusting after him you seem pretty chipper ;) I hate to say it but Tim does stalk you like a jilted boyfriend or girl friend . Makes you wonder what's going on in Tim's mind !! now there's a scary thought seeing into his mind...

With everything going on I really doubt that Jen gave the comment in that email much thought and besides not everyone knows the story on Tim... Randy

NO, I didn't. I paid more attention to deleting the quoted bit in it so as not to make anyone else mad. I don't know anything about Tim other than he was being a tool on the forums I admin and I banned him. Outside of that, I have never met, spoken to, done business with, heard of, or read anything about him. I regret posting that e-mail because NERD is not the subject at hand here and I don't know them either.

After reading all this..... I have decided

that this virus is so BAD.....One might contact it just from reading the thread.....I'm thinking of taking the Baytril shot myself......Jen did the
Rainbow boas show any signs of sickness? How Many snakes are now dead?
7?? Damn give another shot that Baytril......... :dgrin:

He's doing great! Eats like a champ and has adjusted beautifully. I am waiting till he's breeding size and proves out to brag. :rofl: Since that time, I have picked up a m/f pair Het Clowns and a Het Caramel female to pair with my double het Caramel Albino male. they are all doing great!

....and now back to your regular programming..The Twlight Zone...

The rainbows and the corns are just fine -- as are the rest of my animals. Only the 6 ball pythons had it and died. Lily was the last sick one, no one else has showed any kind of symptoms. Not holding my breath though -- just watching and waiting, hoping for the best.
