    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Who's fishing? I think it's a relevant question, since she's already said that her home is less than ideal for quarantine. That's a lot of animals moving in and out of her home for someone with the collection size she has. You don't think so?

From what I understand, she recently moved. You have assumed that all the shipping was done from her present location and designed your question around that assumption.

Given her tight space and inability to quarantine properly, I am assuming that the bulk of those shippings, if not all of it, was in the past, prior to her move to her present location.

Why don't you just ask Jen when those shippings had occurred rather than assume that you know that they occurred from her present location?

I guess that how I perceived your question to be more of an accusation or statement of fact.

Jen has been honest. If she wasn't, then the info that makes her look bad wouldn't have been posted, would it?

Has she? On which posts? Go back and look at her posts on all the forums for the past three months - she contradicts darn near everything she says several times over - how is that honest?
 
On all of her posts. She contradicts herself, yes, but she hasn't been deliberately dishonest.

OK so I guess saying a snake had been to see the vet and had test done - when it hadn't (or at least there is no receipt for it) would be considered honest? :shrug01:

I don't suppose watching your hopes and dreams disintegrate in front of you would cause one to be a tad scatterbrained?

I'm sure accuracy was the very first thing on her mind seeing as how she reached out to her friends on Fauna.

Instead of support, suggestions and sympathy, she gets her posts picked apart by the very people she reached out to.

She is well aware that her inability to have effective quarantine has caused the spread of whatever this is. I am quite sure she beats herself up mentally every time she interacts with what is left of her collection.

Unfortunately the BOI is not for pity parties it is for facts - and I'm not seeing that Jen has provided any. You can't just yell fire in a packed theater and leave. The inconsistencies go well beyond scatterbrained - from any other person it wouldn't be accepted on this forum and I don't think we should make exceptions on such an important issue.
 
I don't doubt that 98% of people reading this thread have a lot of sympathy for what Jen is going through, and yes, being upset can cause confusion and disorganization. I feel horrible for Jen! But if you separate emotions from what has been written here, it's a mess and hard to follow.

There is so much confusion that it's really not clear where Jen's snakes illnesses stemmed from, I absolutely agree with Tosha on that point.

Is Jen trying to lie? I don't think so, I think she's upset. But I don't KNOW, and that's the point. Just because I feel sympathy for someone doesn't mean I will trust that their side of the story reflects the "whole truth".

There's his side, her side, and the truth lies somewhere in between, as the saying goes.

At this point - stepping back, calming down, and trying to clear things up with facts when they are available (or when heads have cooled) would be the best thing.

Wyatt sold a snake to a customer that he claimed had seen a vet and was given a clean bill of health except for being diagnosed with allergies and a runny nose. No proof has ever been provided by wyatt that the snake actually was seen by his vet. That snake died shortly after it arrived to his customer as it was diagnosed by his customers vet as having a baytril resistant RI.

Does that seem honest to you?

Not that I really want to get involved in the confrontation you have going. But I will anyways. I suppose you are one of those people that has never mad a mistake before. You know those select few that are perfect in every way. I like the fact that you show no remorse or sorrow for the fact that Jen and Myself recieved sick snakes from the same person. I was just luck that I watched mine closely due to what Jen had posted up here in my inquiry. So Thanks for your support. Mike

Look I am not attacking Jen - I'm just not willing to treat her word as golden - I've read too many of her posts to just throw on the blinders and be lead down whichever path works for her. And it's not that I am not showing remorse - I want to know the truth - I want to know the reality behind this virus - if that is in fact what she has - how to treat it if possible and/or avoid it - THAT is more important to me than some pissing match between forum members.

I am sorry if I perceived your posts that way then. I'm not trying to blame Wyatt either. Whatever the "truth" is (as you say) I still don't feel picking this thread apart is the right way to go about finding it.

Try reading your posts as a stranger and you just might find that they do come off a little harsh, although I know that you can not tell inflection and tone via the written word.

Lets just see what Jen may post later that might clear everything up-- or not.
 
What is the point of your non attacks Tosha? Are you saying Jen's snakes didn't die and she is trying to recieve free snakes? Are you stating that she is lying about the viral thing? She already accepted responsibility for how she kept her collection, she hasn't asked for anything from Wyatt at this point.

I call BS on your not attacking her. I really don't know what you are trying to get at unless you are trying to provide proof in some sense that she is a bad guy. I think Jen has learned a hard lesson. She didn't create the virus, it seems the thing she is most guilty of is not keeping her collection more secure from new animals. I don't know what kind of resentment you have towards her or why you have your nails out but it is far more than just inquirying questions you are asking. The questions are loaded and leading.

How about your ethics Tosha, I seem to remember you starting a thread about someone's hets not being genuine and calling them out. After running them down and making sure everyone was aware that those hets may just be normals you then proceed to make a deal with this person and bought several of those animals for $10 above a normal ball python price in the hopes that some may prove out. That said a lot about you to me right there. So my opinion is that there is some ulterior motive as to why you have decided to jump into this thread. You have been here long time and have seen many threads on many bad guys etc... yet you don't have a lot of posts. Why is this thread different? What do you have to gain?

Maggie if that was what she was looking for the Ball python forum would have been the place to post.. She was looking for someone other than herself to blame and thus here we are. We've all commented on how bad we feel about what happened ETC ETC but I have to agree with Tosha here in that most who threw out unfounded accusations would have been treated uh lets say less nicely.

Maggie I don't really see Tosha's post as being harsh I do see her wondering why someone who can't get their story straight is given a pass by so many here. I guess whenever someone is called out here they just need to say they just lost some critters and we'll let it slide?? Now if Jen had just posted in one of the forums about all this she would have received comfort and support but instead she came to the BOI and accused someone else before she had anything to back it up, no proof and yes I've seen her Blog and still feel the same way. Her Vet can say whatever he likes but A bug that can jump around her house and make another snake show symptoms in 24 hours?? They're going to have to provide a lot of research before I swallow that one.
Hey I hope she does follow through on all the stuff she says in her blog. It'll cost a bunch of money and if they try to find out how long it takes from exposure to symptoms it'll cost them a number of research animals and a whole lot of money.



David what's the deal with you? you recently start posting on the BOI and all you really do is pile on. Tosha is correct in her assertions you might want to go back to read and comprehend as Jen's story and time line (especially when you read post she made on other sites) just doesn't add up.

It doesn't matter what we think of Damion and I know that I'm not trying to defend the guy and I don't think Tosha is either. I see a story here that doesn't add up and folks getting a bit upset with those who ask for the facts ..

Good lord Tasha. What would be the point of her purposely deceiving people? To insinuate that she's being dishonest is to imply that she has ulterior motives here for doing so. I question your comment about not attacking her far more than I do Jen's storyline. Your motives are clear and it's rather pathetic if I do say so myself.
