    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

The above post, made by Victor, doesn't sound very respectful to me. Victor admitted he shipped snakes USPS which IS A CRIME. He comes on here, and talks so bad that he has to go away for a while. He threatens multiple people including the site owner with legal action (that's funny). Finally, he goes to his customer, gives no refund, but tries unsuccessfully to have all record of his misdoings erased from the BOI.

I would never do any business with Victor.
 
I don't look at it like the OP gave up. He had no choice. It sounds like Reptiles Plus gave him no other opportunity---he would have to remove this thread in order to get the money back????

I agree that dealing with a hassle as a buyer is a real stress to one's personal life.

I don't think the buyer is satisfied by any means---it just looks like he was given no choice other than to just let this go.

I hope the thread can be satisfied with this--otherwise remember---it will wander the Earth forever--seeking resolution.

It appears that my last couple of posts were interpreted as me "giving up."
From a personal standpoint that may be true.
What I was trying to say is that any PERSONAL animosity between Victor and myself, I am trying to move forward on.
The evidence that I had on Victor was clearly posted at the beginning of this thread. What needed to be said was said.
I also believe that I made it clear that I spent a GREAT deal of my own personal time filing claims with the US Postal Inspectors, the West Florida Better Business Bureau, the IC3, as well as meeting with my local Postmaster, and his communications with the regional Postal Inspectors. Most people would not have gone to those lengths. In fact...many of my friends simply told me to chalk it up to a bad experience and move on.
In my opinion...I feel that I provided the information I had about Victor to all of the proper authorities that I was aware of.
All I am stating is that any PERSONAL attacks or threats on Victor from myself at this point is not going to help the situation. This is NOT giving up. Im just looking at the scope of the situation and realizing that me posting more negative comments about him on a future basis from my personal standpoint, is not productive.
I also felt that it was important to tell everyone that Victor did call me and talk to me in a civil manner. By stating this, I am NOT sticking up for Victor. I am reporting the TRUTH. The purpose of this thread is to report the TRUTH, not to present only biased information about an individual. If I only stated the bad things that Victor told me, and ignored reporting the attempt that he made to right the situation (even though his trust is in question), I would not be accepting my responsibility to post the truth.
Again, Im sorry if you all see this as me "giving up" but I still dont see the productivity that continued personal negative comments from me on this thread provides.
I did my part and reported this incident with the proper authorities. I said what needed to be said on here from a personal standpoint so others can view it and make decisions based upon it.
I am just stating that any personal animosity between Victor and myself is over, as well as any personal negative comments that we have about each other will be ceased.
Just because any PERSONAL problems between Victor and I is over does NOT mean that any LEGAL problems between Victor and the authorities is over. That, however, is between him and them.

I also want to add to this reply that Victor DID respond to the email that I sent him last night. This is what he wrote me:

"Dear Mr Hamilton i have decide i will replace the two snakes that died on you and will ship them free of charge to you please except this as a gift. for what you sayed to me on this email. thanks you and i am truly sorry for upsetting you! what done is done let move forward on hard feelings water under the bridge."

I responded to this email and told Victor that I appreciate this gesture. I also told him to ensure that they are shipped with either UPS or Fed Ex so they can arrive safely and legally.
I am waiting to hear from him on when I can expect to receive the replacements.
Hopefully it appears that this just might become resolved. If Victor sends out these replacement snakes and stays true to his word, he will be making the right steps to clearing his name on this forum as well as getting on the right path to becoming a responsible reptile dealer. I think we should wait to see what happens and give him to opportunity now to make this right with myself and with future customers.
I will certainly be sure to post a reply on this forum when I receive the replacement snakes and let everyone know that Victor did resolve the issue after all.

^^I am glad that they seem to be willing to provide some remedy to this situation.

Having a "bad buy" is like having a small car accident. It makes you never wanna buy again. And then like a couple weeks later, you can buy stuff again. :D
 
Given the way Brian started this thread (crossing t's and dotting i's) with all the proof right out there in the open, combined with his most recent post makes me think that he may be waiting to see what happens, or writing off the $$ as water under the bridge.

In addition, having spoken to him earlier, I feel as though this may be a good thing, and that I may have jumped the gun slightly on my most recent post. This information is there for all to see, and Brian has maintained his sanity.

Hopefully we will see a resolution and/or more people will start to see Victor for exactly what he is.
 
Hi. Victor just notified me that he will be sending me replacement snakes tomorrow morning through Fed Ex. He emailed me photos of the snakes and they appear to be in good health. They look very nice and I look forward to receiving them.

Mike - I was gonna' jump on you for post #105 because I think you did jump the gun, but it seems you've calmed down. It's easy to criticize someone on the BOI because most people want blood, but I think Brian has done enough on his own part, and the fact that it's been dragged on this long I think is enough of a nuisance to his personal life thusly chalking up "forgiving and forgetting" to the table of good decisions.

Brian - please keep us updated on this deal.

Yes, he recently relocated from the Tampa area to Lehigh Acres, which is near Fort Myers, Florida. He posts on all of the free classifieds in the surrounding areas.

I'm half tempted to post a few warnings in various places because he harassed me like he did. He took time out of my day to give me a hard time...hell, I was meeting my girlfriends parents when my phone rang 4 times in a row, perhaps I should return the favor....

What do ya'll think?
 
Hi. I just wanted to let everyone know that the replacement snakes that Victor told me he was sending, just arrived a short time ago with Fed Ex.
It appears that Victor did stay true to his word. They arrived through Fed-Ex overnight and they were properly packaged in a nice insulated box with a good sized heat pack. The snakes appear to be active, in good health and are in very nice condition. I am satisfied with this resolution to the issue that Victor and I had over the previous transaction.
This shows that Victor does know how to properly pack and ship snakes and stand behind his sales. I hope that he continues to deliver customers good quality reptiles that arrive well-packaged and properly shipped.
I appreciate Victor acknowledging this issue and his willingness to reach a resolution.

well nick tell the truth dont lie! and you have no problems! i did not want to call you!?! i can think of 100 things better to do then call you! also i only called you 2 times after you rudely hung up on me. because you are a prick! the forum is for people to tell the truth unlike you did! and as long as its the truth then you have nothing to worry about! also like i have to you said over and over again you dont have to buy from me! go somewhere else simple! i also reserve the right not to sell to you! so dont worry i will never sell you anything and if i did i can tell that you would be problematic!
 
Good news, Brian. It would appear that your temperance paid off and I did indeed jump the gun on your earlier post.

On the other hand, the fact that Victor obviously knows how to properly pack and ship snakes in a safe manner to ensure their well being, but chose not to on previous occasions still sends up a red flag for me. He cut corners to save a few bucks at the expense of the animals. In this case, it cost him in the long run, which will hopefully cause him to modify his practices. Still, it will be a long time before I'll take a chance on this seller.

I kinda jumped on Brian with the "forgiving and forgetting" as well and have since repped him for his response...I'm glad everything worked out in the long run for you Brian!
Victor I just hope that this is the end of your problems as well and that you would hopefully continue to treat your animals and your customers with the respect they deserve.
 
Wow. A resolution after only 114 total posts of verbal mudslinging.

30 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Of course, it's worth it if I avoid one bad deal...

Refunding Brian's money and settling up goes a long way for me Vic.
But the 10 pages of arguing and name calling are here for any perspective customer too see.
I defended you on the last post and this thread made me sorry I did. If you just work with your customers and fix these problems, first then you would do well. Brian gave you a chance to do the right thing first but you didn't, you accused him of lying.
After this I highly doubt that myself or Brian for that matter will take the chance and buy from you again.
