In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Vincent Russello, attempting a scam

i have no problem selling to a fauna user at all, why would i , i have done more then a dozen supurb deals with fauna members, i love this site. my reputation is pure gold before and after this gecko game a long

FACT: Geckogal04 had bid on no ones auctions but yours. FALSE!
Wrong. When I made that post, I pulled her bid history. She had not bid on anyone else's animals. You didn't deny it. Hours later, she placed one bid on another seller's auction. If that is false, prove it.

simple...

Okay folks, I was going to try staying out of this and just watch to see how things developed. However, it's reached a point that I will make known some things I haven't made public to this point. I've never met Vince and tried desperately to keep an open mind...can't say that now.

To wit...about 40+ pages or so ago I did contact the Webmaster and ask him to see if perhaps this thread resembled a personal attack, was becoming inflammatory for unfounded reasons, etc.... I trust Rich's judgement and left it at that. Seeing as how he's still got it here, and judging from what I've set back and watched develop along the way, I fully support his decision, applaude him and apologize for even thinking that this was anything but what it's turned out to be.

Now, for the rest of the story..... (sorry vince, but shame on you)

Well before page 10, I made a private offer to Vince. This was when he was saying that he was bailing out due to some vague financial obligation that just had to be met. I told him to basically, make me a low-end price offer for me to purchase the "red" male along with a female of his choosing. After they arrived here I would photograph both animals many times in many different settings to "verify" the supposedly unique colorations which would possibly been the next big morph. I would raise the animals here, breeding them together as well as to extra females that I would acquire at my own cost in order to diversify the genetics as much as possible considering the baseline male was the "only known of it's kind." I would, provided this truly was a new morph, continue to breed the hets back together until the morph was proven at which time I would gladly share naming rights with Vince. Also, as soon as he was in a financial position to keep them, I would ship back to him, at my expense, the oldest pair (or more) of offspring, whether het or pure for "his new strain" at no charge. This would allow him, as a co-named originator of the "new" morph to continue being involved in it's production before anybody else. The only thing that he'd have to do was to be able to terminate the auction. At that time, he had to check with the high bidder (GeckoGal04 or whoever his alter ego is) and everything sounded fine. He reported, even on here, that he'd been able to close the auction but then absolutely no more contact. That's also when the scatological specimens begin hitting the fan and the "cover-up" and ducking/dodging began.

Finally, everything appears to be laid bare. I've seen numerous offers to assist Vince, regardless of the way he's taken them, and he's managed to hem and haw around and actually avoid setting the record straight. So many claims, so many pictures (both Vinces and those of others trying to set the colors right) and yet the offers for professional photography are rebuked in one manner or another. This looks a little more than fishy...in fact, I've caught fish that didn't look this fishy....:D

Vince, you claim that your photographis skills are less than desired, yet you keep poo-pooing any and all offers to alleviate the problem. Not just the offers which require you to ship the animal to a photographer, but also the offers to have a professional come to you...at no charge even. Now, for a new and exciting morph, this should be a no-brainer to accept. Sorry fellow, but you're just looking bad here.

My personal thoughts are that you need to either accept a photography offer, one way or the other, or bow out as gracefully as the current situation will allow. If this is indeed a new morph, then bring it back in 9 to 18 months after you've proven it out, with high quality photos by a true photography professional which show the absolute best in the animals (notice the plural, meaning more than one) and begin marketing them. If you find this, yet another suggestion, totally beyond your scope of reason, then just admit whatever the truth may be and get it over with...please.

i dont know if your reading the same thread as me , but i did not turn down any offer for someone to come to my home and take pics of my leo. i did not contact you in regards to your offer of breeding my new morph becuse i felt like you where just trying to cash in on this. sorry but i guess you took some offence to this becuse now you changed your tune on this thread. this thread by all meens deserves to be here, maybe it shouldnt be 80 pages long , but it need to stay up so everyone can get a clean clear look at what kind of person i am, honest, a pro, and a man who does great work with reptiles.

it is nfs

I am sure the people at reptibid would be interested to know that you are holding a bogus auction on their site.

Bottom line Vince. By putting the animal on Reptibid you are contractually obligated to follow through with the transaction.

What is really interesting to me is that you are stating all this here so that the authorities can see it. Ever hear of fraud Vince?

Here is a quote from the FBI's fraud site:

"It is felony internet fraud if you send someone money or goods and do not receive what you have paid for. Please keep in mind that under federal law the seller/trader has exactly 30 days to complete the transaction from his/her date of receiving your money or package."

So Vince is this still a joke? You've stated here that you do not intend to sell the animal - I guess that what nfs means.

If you don't sell it then there are legal ramifications.

Still laughing? As soon as the animal is not sold I will post the link to FBI's fraud complaint site here so everyone can post their complaint.

Oh yeah, have a nice day.

Terry

Changed your tune?

Vince,

this thread by all meens deserves to be here, maybe it shouldnt be 80 pages long ,

This argument from you doesn't hold water. It was right here, in the earlier pages of this thread that Rich Z. posted that you'd contacted him about deleting this thread as it was a personal attack and he informed you that all requests of that nature had to be 3rd party and that you weren't in a position to do that. Better get your stories straight...

i did not contact you in regards to your offer of breeding my new morph becuse i felt like you where just trying to cash in on this.

You know, I would have been able to profit from the new morph, just like you would have provided it did indeed prove out. In fact, you were going to eventually profit while providing absolutely NO MONEY to the project, yet you'd have a written and legal contract for naming rights and offspring back. Maybe I'm seeing this a bit twisted, but still sounds like a decent offer to me. If for any reason it didn't, I'd have been the one out a whole lot of money for a failed project. See, I'd have incurred the risk, so there is, business-wise, nothing wrong with me eventually profitting from my efforts on your behalf. That's the nature of business, especially when your reputation is on the line like it is here.

Sorry guy, but this hole you're digging for yourself just appears to be getting deeper by the reply.
