Vince -
I have spoken to the family attorney concerning this matter and have shown him this thread as well as saved copies of the original auction direct from my cache. He has also read my email from the past 72 hours. He has said he would be happy to handle this case, beginning with issue of a warrant and extradition from Florida to West Virginia where my business physicaly resides. He did however urge me to try to resolve this matter with no litigation if at all possible, as it could be a very expensive case to try on both sides. As I am not a big fan of expensive litigation I will attempt an agreement with you, provivded it is done here, where it can be witnessed and a record kept.
Let me bring these statements to your attention:
The originalpost by Seamus Haley, as it contains the picture originaly used to represent the animal in question.

this gecko looks exactly like it is pictured. if i said "Leopard gecko under red lightbulb" then i would be lieing. the first pic is just blurry. and in no way shape or form has this pic been re-touched or a lighting stunt been pulled. that is what this gecko looks like.

this leo is nothing like any i have ever seen before. not like what you see at any pet shop. or even what you would see at the best leopard gecko breeders stock room. do you guys understand what a 1.5 mega pixle camra is? this gecko has deep red coloration on his head body and tail.this is truely a one of a kind leo.

Vince, even in the last photo you posted, the shirt of the person standing to the left is red, the newspaper under the litter container is red and there's a loop of BRIGHT red material around the center that looks like it *might* be an outdoor extention cord... which is generally ORANGE.
If you knew that the light causes this effect, making everything look redder than it is... and you chose that area to take the pictures, then selected a picture where the red coloration is the most enhanced to advertise your animal with... you misrepresented the actual color of the animal (yellowey orange according to every photo taken on the bed).

I didnt know the effect of the light untill i just took new photos. again my leo has not even a hint of yellow of his RED body. the effect isnt red at all but more of a yellow hue. the extention cord is actualy green.

good thing this was never a scam to begin with.

*photo was not editied in any way* thanks for all the attention my little red leo is getting , we both love it.

one more time. no photo software was used to enhance this photo, nor was there any special light used for the purpose of enhancing the natural deep red color of this leo. i know it may make some mad that a private collector has came up with the odd ball leo. instead of quite admiration i receive criticism and i am bombarded with naysayers, geez

if this was a scam why would i readily take so many new photos for everyone? if i had proper lighting the secondary photos would also show rich red coloration.
I can go on and on. Do you think these statements would lead me to believe that I would be bidding on a leopard gecko with a "rich deep red" coloration more like a tomato than an orange colored gecko?
I have seen the new listing on repti-bid and have no desire to bid on that animal. I was only interested in the one of a kind rich red colored leopard gecko. I could certainly get a comparable gecko (to the one in your second auction) for less than my bid price on the original auction.
I know there was time left on the auction, and it's possible that I could have been outbid. Unfortunatly I was not given that opportunity because of your unethical and illegal auction tampering. I have already purchased and cut materials to build a breeding rack, and have spent time and effort researching the acquisition of high end female Leopard Gecko morphs for potential breeding partners. I have also passed on purchasing a
very high quality harlequin/fire crested gecko in order to retain funds for this red leopard gecko. That crested has been subsequently sold to another party.
The bid before it was tampered with was $102.50. Can you provide me a male leopard gecko the approximate color of Gatorade (As pointed out by PAUL BOLLINGER on page 74) for this price or not?
If the answer is no, please explain why and let me know what you are willing to do to offset my losses.
I thank you in advance.
