Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Vincent Russello, attempting a scam

I got this in today's emails. I've XXXX'd over the name and email address since I haven't asked permission to post this, but it is from one of the teachers Vince has mentioned. I've also included the full header info for everyone to see.

I think it pretty decent of you to say you are satisfied with Vince's actions so far, but please bear in mind that this speaks to your claim against him. I just don't see how his so called 'donation' (actually I would rather think it was an out of court settlement) speaks toward the alleged and perceived wrong(s) that he perpetrated upon the other members of these forums and upon Reptibid users, upon Reptibid itself, and upon the herp dealing community as a whole.

In fact about the only thing that I would see as even nearing satisfaction for the users of this forum would be for Vince to admit and apologize for the scam he is alleged to have committed. To make a donation and then to say, in essence, he did not perpetrate a scam is, I think, rather hypocritical on his part and does not show any true repentance nor does it address the issue of the original alleged scam. Nor does it address the many other people who believe they have in some way been wronged by Vince.

I do think it was a great idea to have him make such a 'donation' but I strongly feel that he owes many people an apology that would include his admission to having attempted at least one, and more likely two scams with this red leopard gecko and Reptibid issues.

Yes, you're correct. My satisfaction statement was only in regard to my claim (legal or other) against him. I wanted to put this in print for everyone's benefit, including Vince's.

On the issue of Vince's character, business ethics, and all around status as a "good or bad guy", the previous 129 pages stand as a testament ;)
