    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Oh, please! You admit you admired this site so much that you were going to make a donation, but now you're angry because some facts about you and your feedback have been exposed?

My advice to you is to settle down for a moment. Let's look at this objectively, shall we?

Maybe the reaction by a few people was harsh.

Maybe you didn't mean to do anything wrong by leaving yourself positive feedback.

Maybe "scammer" is too harsh a word for you. My guess is that you were just trying to get business rolling and having some good feedback seemed like a good plan at the time. Once you had a few customers under your belt, you'd have valid feedback, and everyone would be happy. Am I close?

Now, I'm sure you can understand why other people might not approve of that approach, and feel like you were trying to pull one over. Several "bad guys" have utilized that same method to lure unsuspecting folks. Even if, as I suspect, you were just trying to market yourself a bit, it was deceptive...and don't you agree that deception is wrong, Dave?

Fauna works both ways.... for the good and the bad....but if you plan on being in business, and want this to be the only thing that pops up when your future customers come here to check you out, you're making a huge error.

The last time I checked......I was not the one who created a screen name to post good stuff about myself.

And thanks for your e-mail telling me you are a hobby and one of the little people and I should leave little people alone.
I would follow your advice if I was one of the big guys. (because I would be too busy to bother)
But unfortunately for you ...I too am a hobby.....I too am one of the little people.

And if you look. My feed back only has three positives. I have been in this hobby for a loong time. I have been selling my animals for about four years or so. And yet I only have those three feedbacks as of this writing. Do I find it necessarry to make up a screen name and post good stuff about myself? NO

The screen name I actually use for selling only has one feedback.
But I do not care.
If I were to become a business.......I will know that my foundation was built honestly. It was built slow and steadily. there are no lies that will make the business come crashin.

Sadly enough that was you pal, if you are going to post a story about the misfortunes of some beautiful animals, of which I feel like an idiot for showing you sympathy in an earlier post, at least get your story and characters straight.Secondly, it might be a good thing that you are not going to be nice to people in this industry at least for the sake of that 7ft Dumeril you were going to ship. Third, maybe you should start playing on the reptile auction site instead of here because everyone knows you have to wade through the BS there. Lastly, I do not post very often on this site and especially do not want to put anything negative about anyone, but this industry or hobby to some of us is hard enough with all the bad apples, this site give us a place to go to get information on others and to discuss our hobby and by not using it appropriately and trying to deceive people as to your identity you have shed a bad light on yourself and slapped all of us in the face. Care to explain!!
