    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

First: you really need to learn how to spell. If your profile isn't a lie you are 32, yet BURMGUY4EVER, who is half your age spells a hell of a lot better than you and sounds way more intelligent than you do.

Second: stop blaming everyone else when you are the one who screwed up. Own up to your stupid little games and be a man. No one put a gun to your head and made you post bogus feedback. You got caught, so cut the crap and stop making excuses that everyone is out to get you. No one is trashing your name. They are just throwing your own words back at you, which you are obviously not mentally or emotionally capable of handling.
 
OK, I can see where I need to set up a new warning category in the warning system: "Beating a dead horse". Of course, there will need to be someone who can officially proclaim exactly when the horse is dead, I guess.
 
How to Revive a Dead Horse....

1. Give the Dead Horse mouth-to-mouth rescusitation
2. Tie 2 Dead Horses together for increased productivity.
3. Proclaim the Dead Horse "alive" and continue as normal.
4. Beat Dead Horse harder to stimulate cardiovascular activity.

However...

I saw the pictures of those Colombians, and if they're 8 feet, I've got a 10 foot Cape York Spotted for sale.

I really wish the shipper of those snakes would post here.

He made a mistake. A huge one in some eyes, not that huge in his. He has made an attempt at an apology. Everyone poking their finger in his eye is only making him mad, and he is reacting out of anger. You know how he feels about the feedback issue. He knows how everyone that posted feels about it also. You are not going to chnge his mind any sooner than he is going to change everyone elses. Take the info as presented as base your opinion on it.

As far as the snakes go, WHOEVER shipped them, I hope they learned a valuable lesson. It is sickening to think how they died. I have to force myself to think it was an issue of stupidity rather than malice. Let's hope it turns out that way.

To redtailman - Friendly advice - you are further digging yourself in a hole because of your emotions. Tom Coonan has spoken up for you, and I myself would contact you if you had an animal I was interested in. I would make an opinion after talking to you, and likely would buy if you were level headed and personable to talk to. Others here might be leaning the other way because of the ranting and raving. Relax, have a beer, and talk with these good folks like you would a customer, rather than fighting with them. Making the move towards civility would really help you out here. Being the "bigger man" can help smooth over alot of past bullcaca.

Right there, in your last reply to the thread, you showed a better side of yourself than we've seen throughout. I'll be watching for anything that may go wrong along the way, BUT I will also be watching and would at least consider doing business in the future after visiting with you first.

It's hard sometimes to take that deep breath and reply in a cool, calm manner, but it can pay off in the long run. This last reply was about the first one in pages and pages of replies where you did that and I commend you for it. There's probably going to be some sore spots along the way with some folks that may need to be smoothed over quite a bit, but based on the way you finally handled yourself, if you'll keep that approach you should do fine.

As I said before, Mike and I had a couple successful transactions. I had never shipped a snake without money in my hand before, but I did do it once with Mike. He was supposed to send the money Western Union about an hour after I sent the snake, and he did. Like I said, I don't consider Mike a bad person because he has never screwed me over.

I was admin on a couple of sites. Moderator on several others.
I was proffesional. But here I ferret out people who try to work the system to THEIR advantage. The system your husband and brother were taking advantage of. But you dont care about that.

You are very correct in this one, they learned it sucks to get busted, but in my OPINION this is the ONLY thing that they have learned.
Now quite frankly he made a post that was somewhat intelligent, thought through after about 21 pages of blah blah blah( and I am suspicious that you actually wrote or helped him with that post) but if he would have started that way with his admission of guilt and his almost sincer tone this probably would not have gone this far. Unfortunately he took the low road and tried to lie his way out of it. Now I am just a member of this site( oh forgot to add HONEST member ) so these are just my opinions and should be taken as such. As far as the derogatory remarks " if you act ignorant I will treat you as such"

I am still confused

Hi all,

I am sorry to keep this rather long thread going, but it has been interesting and entertaining to say the least! I can see how some people that need to support themselves and family with this type of livelihood, may turn toward questionable practices. I don't condone it, but I can see it happening through desperation. I guess my big question and confusion is still what are those pictures of the dead boas and how come the photo copy of the email message talks about 8 fters, and it is entitled Burms???, I believe in the subject line of the email. I may be wrong, my eyes aren't as good as they used to be. But I still don't know if that whole story was made up to make us feel more empathy for Redtailman or what, and I can't go to bed without hearing the conclusion to this caper.
