Bad Guy Warning I got Ripped off for Xmas by Mckyle

McKyle hasn't logged onto the site since this thread was posted.
This has been asked several times without response - has he been made aware of this thread?

I have already answered this question, Yes I have emailed him through his paypal account email as I was disputing the charges and told him about this and posted it on his profile. And now I have an infraction due to not naming the other two people in the middle of transactions with thi McKyle who have not received their reptiles, so here are their names on blast so im not infracted Tristan paid money and has not recieved her reptiles and Nichole whatever her screen name is, is in the middle of a transaction with him.

I have tried to email and PM him numerous times telling him that I will be blasting him if he does not contact me and send me my snakes, but I have not heard a response from him. I am really upset with this due to the fact I really wanted those snakes, yet I feel very stupid for falling into this.

Well, not to defend McKyle, but even if he is legit, Nichole wouldn't have her animals - she hasn't completed her payments yet (not that I am recommending that she do so, without strong evidence that she will get them). I don't know anything about Tristan's situation...

Nevermind. Yes Nichole hadn't finished paying for her herps so she should not have recieved them yet. If I were you Nichole I would try and contact him. See if he answers his phone cause when I called him he would not answer.

I'm not saying that they are in fact 2 different people. what I said is the city that you posted is not the same as I have.

If you post an intact email with header we can try to determine whats going on.

Oh and Ed my husband got that city, Spartanburg, from his cell phone, when you dial the number on his phone it tells the city where its coming from.

Full name? Its on my profile every time I post. But if you would like I'll put it under every post...Again I only posted this thread to make people aware of what I am going through...I was not expecting to get harassed by rules about my full name by a tired & cranky moderator. thanks for the warning though

I have also got scammed by McKyle. Here's a timeline of the events:

- I paid for snakes on Saturday, December 12. The paypal ID I used was [email protected]. Communication was good and shipping was schedule for Monday for Tuesday delivery. He said he would provide me with a tracking number once he had one

- Monday, no response.

- By noontime Tuesday I did not receive the snakes nor have I heard from him. So I sent him 10-12 emails asking if he has shipped the snakes.

- Tuesday night I get the following response from someone named Jeffrey Tyler Keith McDaniel:

"Hey there,

I was just responding to your other messages. I am not sure what a Mojave is - I'm guessing some kind of animal - but I have had 2 others contact me via phone about these. If you have sent any money on Paypal.com, MoneyBookers, Western Union, etc. I advise you to file a claim immediately - these transactions were not, as far as my knowledge goes, legitimate. I have no control over any of the money since it was not delivered to me; rather, I believe someone has been using my e-mail address and personal information for these transactions. I have no business in any online marketing.

Jeffrey Tyler Keith McDaniel"

- In disbelief, I ask him if it wasn't him that I had been corresponding with and he says

"Correct. It is, however, my e-mail address that was being used. I never have and never will involve myself in any transactions online."

I don't believe any of it. To say that someone hacked into your email AND paypal account right AFTER payment was sent is absolutely bogus. This guy needs to be investigated and dealt with accordingly.

I did some research and found that McKyle on fauna has sold and bought with different names and emails but the address and phone number for this guy is consistent. I can share all of them privately, or perhaps post them here if it is permitted. I can say that google maps with the satellite view does give me a good picture of what "his house" looks like....

I have also filed a claim with paypal about this. They said they have contacted him and are waiting for a response.

I did not use my credit card, but just used funds that were already in my paypal account. Do you guys think I have a chance at getting my money back? Since RulingReptiles also filed a claim against him, I hope paypal is smart enough to recognize the scam.

If anyone else that has either done business or is in the midst of a transaction, please come forward and share your experiences.

I strongly recommend that everyone (buyers and sellers) to not do ANY business with this individual in any way, shape or form.

August, I suggest you read the PM...and if the two of you followed the rules, you wouldn't feel harassed about them. *You'll note that the warning was applied to a post that referred to "my husband". For that reason, I'm fairly confident the post was made by April, not you...so spare us the excuses (and, again, there is no need to remember that rule as it is posted on every page).

Man, I wish I was closer to South Carolina. I would pay a visit to Mr. McDaniel
so that we could resolve this.

If he is only 15 it is probably more likely that he's a bad business [man] than a scam artist. Either way a good talking to his parents would probably resolve the situation either way.

I think he is starting to sound more like a scammer now. How would someone hack into your email, paypal and possibly fauna account simultaneously, and multiple times. I had an email account hacked once but I emediately shut it down afterwards and stated using better passwords. It just doesn't add up. And yah, a 15 year old can be a scammer and the benefits of the doubt seems not to be deserved in this situation.

It's good to see someone come forward and admit to their mistakes unlike most of the people on here. Hopefully all the issues get resolved satisfactorily.
