Perhaps this is all just an evolutionary process in a website like this. Beats me. This is all new ground for me as well. Certainly there are always other paths that can be taken at any step of the way, but it will be hindsight that tells me whether the choices I made were the right ones or not.

Nope, you misunderstood. What I am not happy about is that Wes is gone, not your decision to ban him (subtle difference I know). That was your call and I was watching him "fall on his sword" as it was happening. Your warnings were clear as day and he chose to ignore them, or more to the point, to defy them.

Oh, come on! So Wes cannot control himself? You know darn well he can. Wes is a very intelligent person, and I doubt he allows many people to "hurt" him into anger, especially the person it is so obvious you are referring to.

The members of this site want to clean it up a bit. I personally am sick of all the negativity, I bet I am not the only one. Am I?

I like Wes. A lot. That doesn't mean that I think that Wes should get a free pass (so to speak) just because he is "being Wes". Or should I say, "$1000 pass"? Are you guys that hard up for...? I don't even know what to call it! Entertainment I guess.

Terese is right, if you miss him, go hang out where he hangs out. EMail him. Call him. He doesn't belong here right now, he has been banned. Maybe in the future, yes, but right now, no.

I believe Terese knows where I am coming from and that I am NOT just saying "gee Wes did no wrong and should come back". Perhaps a little more understanding of what I am writing actually hearing it instead of seeing what you want to see will go a long way.

Now, since some people by changing their names have gotten a freebee of no more points, maybe when this new stricter law was taken place and the old one thrown out perhaps the points that people already paid for should have been able to start with a clean slate as well. By constantly saying Wes has a lot of point IS beating a dead horse as points have gone way back in time and he has paid the price he needed to pay. In law it would be double jeopordy. Penalizing a person for the same offense after the person has paid the price.
I am with people who have said it would not be the same if Wes came back. I fully understand that, something would be in the air and around every corner. Yes, it is Richs' site but now that it is a business and people pay, the paying customers should have some rights. Even the right to call out a mod if they feel the mod to be wrong. Do they have rules that they have to abide by? What are those rules, just so we have everything straight here?

I have been reading your threads just fine. You inferred in your post that Lucille hurt Wes and that's why he posted whatever he did that got him banned. Is that not what your post said? Correct me if I am wrong, please.

I probably should have specified in my post that only the first paragraph was responding to your quote, the rest of my post was directed to all of those that are considering donating $1000 to Rich so they can have Wilomn back on Fauna. Sorry for the confusion.

Actually, I thought it was Lucille, but you had made reference to the person who was banned from TRR, and Lucille has most certainly not been banned from TRR.

This is the last email that i received from wes and he lays it all out. So decide for your self if you want to help him in his return to fauna or not. he does say in the email that he would do his best to make things better. Its your hard earned money that is on the line here. If you decide against it the you can go visit him elsewhere, if you decide for it we may yet see him back here in the near future. He may not be able to post here but he can read what you guys say and post about him on this thread. Remember that as you reply. He is a person too you know.

The honest truth Nic is that I don't have a need to go back. It's not that I do NOT want to go back but I wouldn't have initiated this.

IF the way is paved and I am wanted enough for you guys to do that I would honor your gesture by coming back and doing my best to do my best to make things better.

Fauna IS a great place but it's not the ONLY great place. And some places that aren't even great are still pretty cool. I've been known to drop in on one or two of those as well.

I'll come if called but won't ask to be let in. No offence to anyone PLEASE beleive that I am quite touched by much that has been said and done.

I'm assuming at this point that you will post this in hell, which is quite fine with me.

I'm sort of caught flatfooted by the support and the diversity of what folks think I think.

And to be honest and honestly NOT meant as an insult to ANYONE, this has had me laughing my ass off a couple of times. Between what's happening on fauna and on TRR I've been smiling quite a bit.

There ya have it. A lot of noise has been here on this thread and Wes really doesn't have a desire to come back (not that I blame him in the least).

He said he wouldnt ask to come back but would if we wanted him to. I guess all in how you read what he wrote. Sometimes you just have to read between the lines. His pride is on the line here and he wont give that up for anything, especially asking to come back here.
Looks like I will be adding a few more bookmarks to my homepage to visit everyone that i want to talk to.

If for a 1000 he is able to come back only to read then I am glad Wes said that. He has morals and is grateful for the gestures that were made here. Heartfelt is sometimes better then anything else. We all showed our respect for him and we know where to find him. Fauna's loss as far as I am concerned, have fun nabbing someone bad with all the rules and in the nicest way possible.
