Mr. Whore you were on and of this thread for a extremely long time Thursday morning .I thought surly you would like to addressed some of the issues that have been brought up since your last post. One could only assume that they might be true.

Really???? So this guy has time to scam, lie and waste peoples' time and FORCE THEM INTO COURT JUST TO GET PAID (which shows for a REAL LOSER!!), but he doesn't have time to explain his PATHETIC behavior. And I think his wife has a different last name (actually I think I listed it a couple days ago from somebody else's thread). Well, if I was her, I wouldn't want my name associated with his either. However, what's the saying... birds of a feather? If you are going to hang out with a deadbeat, you are going to become one. But, then again, that is probably what attracted the two of you in the first place!! I would like to give you each something you can do together to help each other grow... well, o.k. maybe it won't help you, but it will certainly help people planning on doing business with you Have fun (at your customer's expense of course!!)

Do you think this hits home for the Miko family? It scares me that these two have a right to raise little Mikos to someday become big Mikos and treat people the way he reportedly (again and again and again) treats and has treated others. Somebody is looking forward to meeting you Don't worry about how he plays by the rules. I'm sure it will be no different than how you (guys) do (but I bet he is a lot better at it!! )

As far as my wife goes keep her out of this the beef here is with me.

Yes people do make bad decisions, However that being said this thread started because of my lack of communication with one individual. No one has gotten screwed here.(That includes the company that has supplied my with the rodent caging)

As far as justifying or answering any questions I do not have to, and wont. Everyone can make up there own mind regarding me thats fine, I do not live by what others think actually I believe none of us do. I dont think there is a single person here that at some point and time another person has not thought greatly about them.

If you do not want to do business with me dont there are others that do, and told me not to even reply to this post because people who like controversy will continue to post on the thread.

So as I stated earlier if you you have a beef with me because of what youve read then you would have beef with everyone at some point and time.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Of course you have the right not to reply. I personally would want people to judge my actions with both sides of the story. Not responding only lends to the credibility of the accuser when future customers read the thread.

I have heard many times the subject of a thread say someone or people or emailing the person not to reply. I agree it would probably be the worst thing you could do only if everything posted was true. People that respond with half-truths or lies will get caught. If people posting about you are not telling truths then you have nothing to worry about. There are a lot of threads in here that the bad guy post was made on the good guy and it was found out soon after.

It’s not hard to figure out some of this and the questions are not that hard.

It is also not hard to figure out who is giving you this bad advice, since there was only two people on this thread since you posted your reply. That one of them gave you positive rep points for your last statement so now you are green instead of red maybe the person can post on your behave too about good deals with you.

In my experience also, people who say they aren't worried about business usually are more than a little worried.

One other thing. If Miko's wife is also his partner in the reptile business, then her record is fair game as far as assessing his reliability and ethics. If she is "just" his wife, and not involved with "WHORE" then I agree with Miko and Dennis that she ought be left out of this discussion.

I was fine with letting things go after your feeble apology. However, others had come on that appeared to have very legitimate descrepancies with you. And, as Dennis re-iterated at least part of it above, you still have not answered these easy questions. If you have nothing to hide, explain yourself so this thread can go away.

It was also brought up threads connecting you (and your wife as co-defendants in at least two civil court cases in which you BOTH had failed to pay somebody you owed money to. I think there were more than that. There was a conviction or Sustained finding in at least one of those cases. How about cleaning up these descrepancies by explaining yourself so, again, we can let this thread die.

Makes you look awfully suspicous and shows that at the VERY LEAST others have had to take you to court because of their descrepancies with you and a couple of the court cases included your with as a co-defendant.

There have also been several persons alleging that you failed to follow through on a verbal commitment with them. The word "several" being the key word here. How much smoke do you need before you can safely assume there is a fire?

And, you are planning on your "last post" implying that you will not be posting any more responses as you have yet to answer for the the racks and the unaccounted for $28,000 (going by memory). I am sure this can be dragged out as long as you would like to drag it out Miko. Just respond and take responsibility and the thread will fade (and for cripe sake, be honest!! Cut the crap and come clean!!) This thread will forever be in your closet but, it was YOUR ACTIONS that created this mess!!

Everyone CAN make up their own mind regarding you and the ones that read these threads will most likely determine that you are not to be trusted (again based on your word and business practices). If you are a business person, your reputation is based on what "others think", so I don't know what your point there is except to avoid responsibility and to "smokescreen" your response. To not find the importance in that could be part of your problem with how you treat people you do business with.

You said, "Everyone is entitled to their opinion". You are right and those opinions seriously affect your reputation and business. And by your business practices, it doesn't seem to bother you if people you have done business with have a very poor opinion of you.

Our Family and friends donated 4000.00 to DFI to sponsor a service dog for our son , Ron Robinson. Ron participated in a very long and rigourous training program with DFI , and in Jan 2004 , his best buddy BARKLEY was placed in his home. Ron was the happiest man in the planet and one of DFI s biggest supporters, he sold cookbooks for fundraising and also took Barkley to various functions so that other challenged people could see what a life enhancing change it had made in his daily routine. Ron and his family loved Barkley.
On May 2, 2004 our son became very ill and was taken to Froedtrert Hospital and spent the next several days barely clinging to life. While in the ICU waiting area, We received a call from DFI trainer Peggy Hamby. The primary purpose of Peggys call was to determine who was taking care of Barkley and where he was. We told her that Barkley was being well taken care of by a friend of Rons and that she need not worry. Peggys tone changed and she demanded to know where Barkley was. We gave her the address and phone number of the caregiver and expressed our disgust over her approach and lack of sensitivity to our family. Later that day we spoke with Annette Weber ( DFI exec dir ) and voiced our displeasure with the content and nature of our call from Peggy and asked that no one call us again from DFI and also that we had a hard time understanding why Peggy was so concerned about where my sons dog Barkley was. Annette replied that since they had never gotten around to supplying Ron with the paperwork for Barkley, DFI was still the dogs owner and as such was responsible and liable in the event the dog bit someone. At this point in time , We told Annette , perhaps it was time to produce the paperwork, after all our son needed to know HIS DOG BARKLEY was there for him when he recovered.
On May 5 2004 our son Ron died and before he was even laid to rest , Annette was requesting Barkley be returned to DFI. I told her that our family wished to keep Barkley, after all it was my sons dog and our last link to his life. Requests turned to demands, and on the evening of May 13th , DFI trainer Peggy was able to take Barkley from our family. ( ( she apparently issued a civil complaint alledging that Rons friend has stolen property )).
My last conversation with Annette on May 13th shortly before they TOOK BARKLEY, was to literally beg her to just give us the paperwork , retire Barkley to us and give the story a happy ending. We had in fact offered all the memorial contributions to DFI in our sons name , Her reply " We Dont Need Your Stupid Donations "
The last conversation any of our family had with a DFI rep was later on the evening of May 13th , after they had reclaimed " THEIR PROPERTY " Rons aunt was told by Miko Ortiz " WE DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR NEPHEW ,ONLY ABOUT GETTING OUR DOG BACK"
All attempts to reach DFI staff or Board of Directors have been ignored, and since DFI has not filed a required Corporate annual report since July 1999, and is delinquint, even the office of the Wisc sec of State can not provide current info regarding the WHO , What and Where of DFI structure.
I spoke with directors from other service dog organizations as well as officers from service dog associations and they all said that their policy is to honor the wishes of the family when a service dogs master passes away.

Only one question needs to be asked to determine whos dog Barkley is ???

IF MY SON WERE ALIVE TODAY, WHERE WOULD BARKLEY BE ???

Just a quick clarification, it was not a seeing eye dog but a service dog trained to assist my son in his every day living skills, my son was confined to a wheelchair the last 20 years of his life.
