THE TINMAN
David after you recieved the snake did it take Hydration easily?
or did it refuse
or did it refuse
I have seen a few boas and that one looks the same to me. The eye is tiny even in Yaz's photo. Granted, not sunken in, but its alive in that one.
The faces look somewhat similar but as Diem said in post 11, Yaz's pic of the snake has very dark and distinctive spot beneath his eye but David's pic is barely there.
I'd want necropsy compensation too!! I'm mean sometimes!! Lol
That just ridiculous. I don't think Yaz should pay for the necropsy. But if he does then he should have a copy before he sends David the money. And secondly, Yaz did not ask him to perform the necropsy.I think a refund including shipping is warranted, and if the issue of the necropsy is pushed, then compensation for those fees should be granted as well.
Okay, Davey made me want to open PhotoShop. So, I stared at these pics for a while because the face did not satisfy me as it seems to have suffer some severe distortion following the death and the residue of the urates is distoring some of the spots.
However, I did find this. This, to me, would be infinitely distinctive to this boa. To me, they are one in the same.
But I still think the necropsy report should be provided before any refunds are given or any compensation for that matter. Without a necropsy report there is no proof the animal died due to something on Yaz's part. Even with it, that is hard to tell you. What I would like to know is why an emergency appointment wasn't sought or why the OP waited a day for it. If it was this severe, I'd have brought the animal in immediately.
The condition of the eyes still is confusing to me. To be sunken in that bad after only a few others following death is ... well, confusing.
I don't know if I support a full refund.

He didn't ask him to perform a necropsy, youre right. But he is demanding copies of it now! He agreed to a refund before. David wanted the necropsy, not Yaz.
