    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I don't see how Yaz is being a pain in the ass at all.He offered a refund after he gets to see the paper work stating that the snake infact was sick before he shipped it out.

He shipped what appeared to be a healthy snake and next thing he knows the snake is dead.
It's a S***** situation between two good guys, who at the end of this should BOTH remain good guys if they're both happy with the results.

Let it rest until a report is posted and both are happy with a conclusion to this unfortunate situation.

David, perhaps "put out" was inaccurate. I was referring to your cynicysm of people "salivating" for some loopholes. I don't exactly camp out here either. Thanks for posting the report....it does clear up some things.

Remember,everyone, it is only a preliminary report, so let's not take everything as 100% factual.

Yaz, even though we have had our back and forth tiff here, I am sorry about the upcoming "drop" It's never cool to hear of a boa that slugged out, especially one that would be having babies that would carry on the lineage of a snake you had to part with. Sorry
 
What Im confused, maybe Im reading it wrong. My female here never dropped her clutch yet.
 
My albino girl just had her babies, but not the normal columbian, shes still gravid.

:iagree: It's very easy to take things personally in a situation like this... Both parties take extreme pride in their animals..... but sometimes they get sick and may not present symptoms right away........ It seems like something that can be resolved rather painlessly...
 
Thats what I dont understand. How the hell was that not a male and this female is gravid? Im so damn confused. Is it possible that shes gravid from herself? Does that even make sense??
 
Parthenogenesis is possible, however unlikely. She could have ovulated and never got fertilized. I am assuming she will slug out, possibly in the next couple weeks, then my early condolences.
 
If she has healthy babies, this would be very damn interesting... she looks like she has 40+ babies in there. Maybe I'll go get an ultrasound done.
 
Ok...a necropsy regardless of price was necessary here.
I don't think an ultrasound is necessary as she will either have babies or she wont. You will be wasting money, because if they are slugs they wont be fertilized before she has them anyway. The stress of being taken in may cause her to abort as well. Take a wait and see stance on this one, please. You may end up with a litter of 40 females!
 
Thats true, I'll wait it out. It shouldnt be much longer hopefully.

Yes I have a family crisis at hand but if you guys can give me a timeline when you need me, I can do it, I think. My parents house as well as my quarantine building was hit by a tornado earlier today so I am having some issues but, this might help me take my mind off of things.
