Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Anyone game to try to discover just how many alternate sites are banned from being mentioned on kingsnake.com?

How many people/businesses are banned from even posting on that site or having their websites hosted?

Maybe I should reserve the domain name BannedKingsnakeUsers.com before it is too late. :laugh:

Could someone that hasn't been banned be kind enough to post that fact in the Field Collecting forum for me so all my old buddies know?

It was still there as of 5:00 pm Eastern time. However, there appear to be a large number of people beginning to question whether KS is needed any longer if this is the way it is to be run.

Also, JeffB posted in the thread concerning Gerry's banning, and he said that you can say whatever you want about him, but being rude or accusatory to his staff will get you banned. Do it privately, and the ban is temporary. Do it publically, and the ban is permenant.

So, there it is as we now have it . . .
 
I didn't get in an argument with anybody. I just posted that I was getting fed up with the whole thing and mentioned this site.

Also, if anyone wants to read Gerry Binczik post that was deleted, Jeff has it under his post as to why on that same thread..... LOL too funny, delete the post, ban the person, then the owners post has it there!
 
You have to be really stretching it to claim hist post was a threat to anybody. He was asked to participate in the beta because it was felt he could add value. He tried to add that value and he was tos'd! I guess the only way to participate is if you agree up front to agree with everything Jeff says.
I shudder to think of what it must be like for his employees to work for someone like Jeff.
 
I am glad someone got this info up so quickly, I had meant to do so this morning before work and ran out of time. Banning Gerry and John is totally nuts and one more example of the censorship running rampant over at kingsnake.
 
Well, I was able to get on KS to see if my posts were indeed taken off, and they were, I say they because I had put two there in different places. Wow that was fast.
Havent gotten anything stating I was banned and was able to go on. LOL Think I will put it back up again:D

I believe the reason John got banned was quite likely because he specifically mentioned this site in his post. And he did it in such a way that the automatic filters didn't catch it.

I'll bet all of their moderators are on full alert today!
