Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I guess I come from a different...background. My family raised me to work hard and if I didn't have the money for "extras" then I didn't buy extras. I took care of bills first and then worried about snakes and extra things later.

WIC isn't supposed to be used by just anyone. If you can afford new snakes and stuff for your Celica then you don't need WIC. Most people wouldn't apply for it, even in the military, especially if they could afford snakes and celicas.

It does matter when you are obviously well-off and people and their children aren't getting their support. That matters. Well, I'm glad the gov't was smart enough not to approve you like they've done so many other times.
 
uhhhh, no, that is not the case... I applied for the WIC when I wasn't getting an income after getting out of the military... I am not longer on it because I am making an income... It's all income based and now we make more than the limit
 
also, WIC doesn't give you money...... WIC is for food and baby food... It has nothing to do with money... It is not a welfare check
 
It IS a welfare check essentially! Who do you think PAYS for your groceries?! The grocery fairy??

I've used WIC, it's a great program, and it provides a lot of supplemental assistance.

I had a child who was in therapy 6hrs a day, and I was not able to work thanks to her therapy schedules. My husband worked, but he didn't make much. The animals we had, we'd had for awhile and I ended up selling and giving some away to be able to afford things we needed. I didn't keep applying and spending money on snakes and piercings and car upgrades and travelling to shows, that's mooching, and like I said, it seems like you are trying to get a free ride from someone else's dime.

You have the money to do these things, but NOT take care of your necessities to the point of needing to rely on the government and taxpayers to foot your bill.
 
I don't see the big deal about the fact I had WIC... Obviously I don't now because when I went to add Kylie on, we now make too much... Oh well... But I simply do not see the problem with receiving WIC if you qualify for it...

And we don't go out and buy snakes and car stuff, etc all the time... I haven't bought a snake since the last one a few months back, nor have I bought anything for my car which is currently parked in storage... Which I don't see why that is your business anyway?

But anyway... You think I am trying to live off someone's dime? What about Yvonne who ADMITS she owes us money, yet hasn't paid and STILL buys SEVERAL more animals with the money she could have used to pay us back... If she wanted any of the other stuff back, all she had to do was tell me and bring me a check... I would have traded off... She NEVER said ANYTHING until that post about wanting any of that stuff back... Or I would have given it back... I could care less about keeping any of it

well..actually YOU brought it onto the forums..oh and I left out the DSLR camera you bought recently...I just saw the claims of "having money" and "needing assistance to buy formula & milk" as odd... Apparently I wasn't the only one..

I wouldn't just plunk out money without having a determined amount agreed upon. She agrees she owes. She's not denied that..Perhaps you guys could just agree on a settlement amount so you can BOTH move on and stop slandering each other without any proof backing up your statements whatsoever.
 
The amount owed has already been stated... She agreed to the bills... At this time, if we get that, I could care less about the $100 or so damage on the carpet...

and I never bought a DSLR camera??? I have a canon powershot camera that my husband bought for me for Christmas last year...
 
I understood you to have purchased one when you posted the DSLR thread on RTB..My mistake.

You asked why it was my business..when you post it all over the forums, it becomes a matter of public record and everyone's business.
You even linked RTB to this thread on another forum post (that was closed later for violating TOS) after claiming you "didn't want to draw it into the public", but felt you had "no other option".

Like I said, the fact that you were attempting to get welfare really would NOT normally be pertinent to the fact that you were possibly owed money.
However, considering you were coming on here with no real proof to the arrangement and expecting everyone just to "trust" what you were saying, it brought up some questions about your reliability and intent.

Just my .02 and I may be really off, but I think when one accuses another here, it's automatically expected that reliable information be supplied to support the claims made.
If said claims can't be made, or aren't made, it sort of makes others start questioning the OP and their intentions, and that's where it became "MY business".
 
well, I could go to my bank and have them print out all the deposited checks for bill money and then print out all the past bills up until they can show their new lease date at their new trailer... I believe that would be proof enough other than the fact she admits that she was staying here and was paying us for bills
 
Ashley, she has NOT denied that she owes you and that she was living there and paying you for bills...

It's the AMOUNT you specified that's in question.

You claim she owes you a specific amount, $897 for bills. If that is what you feel you are owed, then you need to show PROOF that she owes THAT AMOUNT.

So...why haven't you? It'd take about 30mins of your day, approximately. I'd spend 30mins if it meant that I would possibly retain my credibility and recoup a financial loss.

If you are just prepared to let it go, then you need to say so, and let this thread be removed, or closed.
All anyone has asked for is PROOF to back up the amount you claim she owes. No one has disputed the fact she owes you money. The amount is in question.
 
Ok... well here is this for now... I'll get the bank check deposits for previous months later... this is the bills....

The cable/internet is the same every month.... The others are flexible on usage as you see... I was actually WRONG with the amount... It totals up to like $1060... Minus the $75 she wanted for the tank that I agreed to would come to $985

I don't care who you are.....applying for and trying to get "assistance" when you have thousands of dollars worth of snakes is wrong. You don't need help to buy food, you need less snakes.
 
David, I did NOT apply for WIC until I was OUT of the Army... I have bought ONE snake since then and that snake was being purchased before I actually got out of the military...

99% of our animals were purchased while I was IN THE ARMY
 
When was that Facebook status posted? If it wasn't posted right after you got out of the Army, your point is irrelevant.

IMO, if you are struggling in any way, shape or form to make ends meet or feed yourself or your family, you don't need ANY animals. Spending money on stuff you don't need negates any sympathy I have for you regardless of your situation....its called PRIORITIES.
 
If you MUST know... I got on WIC when I got out of the military... I am no longer on WIC NOW because we exceed the amount per month that you have to be under to qualify... And I don't see it as bad to be getting a couple small things like MILK and EGGS and BREAD when I am not working, have a deployed husband, a newborn and a 5 year old coming to live with me.........

No we don't struggle... We aren't rich by any means, but we aren't poor... And as I already stated we haven't bought any snakes for quite some time, so I don't see your point...



And so y'all are saying that I am wrong, BUT, Yvonne is right? Because I don't see y'all harassing her for not paying off her debts, while living with a PetSmart income but still buying SEVERAL animals that probably total way more than she owes me????? Is that right? Is THAT moral? Please tell me that... a few of the animals she has purchased have been a chinchilla, 2 jungles, a pastel, an aberrant ghost, an anery, an arab het snow... I know there are more but I forget what they are...
