I have gone through tough times in my life....I've been broke. But guess what.....I didn't ask for a single dime from anyone or any handouts. And I sure didn't have a huge collection of snakes while I was asking for a handout either. I sold things I had to take care of my financial responsibilities......its called being an adult.

Myself and others are utterly appalled that you can afford to buy more "stuff" for your car, and the occasional new snake (although you have bought far more in the past) and yet you think you need government assistance. Aren't you on disability for an old injury when you were in the army? If you are so disabled how are you able to ride bikes and lift large retics if it is that much of an impairment? It's posted ALL OVER RTB.net.

I'll tell you about impairment, my father has had THREE heart attacks and worked every day without having any assistance. It took him having a stroke after working day in and day out to finally get his disability. He was in the Service for 20 years! When I see someone with a supposed disability living off my tax dollars (and everyone else's) and playing around and having a great time (as evidenced by your numerous photos on that forum) it really hits a sore spot for me. Especially when I see people on my way to work every day missing fingers or toes because they have diabetes and can't afford a roof over their head, let alone medical care. Any working tax payer should be rightfully angry about this.

What does this have to do with the situation between you and Yvonne? Sure, she owes you money, but you seem to be living on us taxpayers. It's the general consensus that you BOTH have to come to agreement on the amount and it should be paid. Yvonne apparently has a job, and isn't one of those many thousands of people raping me out of my tax dollars because they like hand outs, or think they are entitled to them.

Honestly, having someone call you out like this has been a long time coming. There are other people who have followed your antics on RTB over the past 2 years of you acquiring animals and have called you out over that. Your whole history with reptiles is spelled out there. If anyone wants to read your history there, they can, and it's less than pretty.

Honestly, there is nothing good going to come of this and you might request this be removed- if it even can. Settle your dispute in private and let it be.

As for me, I'm done replying to this thread. I think I got my point across.

I would even be willing to accept the originally thought amount of the $900 since that's what I had told her before... But that's the point... She owes, she admitted it, she needs to pay her debt... Ashley, it's a PUBLIC forum, you splatter your personal and financial business all over the forums, you have to expect people to read it.

YOU started this thread...YOU felt it was IMPORTANT enough to post here, on RTB.net, and on your PUBLIC FB account. AFTER stating you really "didn't want to make it public". Then you have the GALL to tell people they have "no business on your thread".

We see a pattern of reckless financial responsibility with someone who we are supposed to TRUST with NO written agreement between the said parties.. to be supplying information damaging to another person.

You started this Oct. 25, and are JUST NOW starting to show receipts, but we still don't have any evidence of the time frame involved in their occupancy.
I'm sure you have SOMETHING in writing about your agreement regarding the time she moved in/out splitting bills/rent. If not, then this is just all hearsay.

Sorry if it comes across as a personal issue, it's not. For me, it's a financial/ethical/moral issue.

You posted a thread "Bad Guy" (and several links to it) with very little or no concrete proof. Then you leave said thread sitting for over a MONTH with no reply after stating you were "so busy with things at home"...But then I see you frequently boasting in chat and on the forums about new things you are planning to purchase/purchasing..Excuse me, it raised an eyebrow.

Then I saw the FB post about WIC and it really made me skeptical of your claims.

NONE of your actions strike me as someone who is trying to get a little "help" to get by during hard times. What it DOES indicate is that you may be someone who is financially irresponsible, and looking for a free ride on someone else's dime.

Call it personal, but like a LOT of people reading this I really DON'T like seeing someone talk about things they are purchasing/doing and knowing it's NOT cheap stuff, and bragging about how they have money and everything is paid, only to turn around and complain they can't get welfare.

When I read things like that, it just seems like whomever posted it is just out for a hand out, or a free ride on someone else's dime, which makes me question the issue at hand, and the motives behind the original post.

Well I apologize if it comes off like that, but I don't care if I had $20 million or $20 to my name... I care that if I was in debt to someone, I would pay them back, and pay them back before I bought extracurricular items for myself and I feel that, being owed money, I should get the same respect back in that regard... You all say I'm buying this and that and whatnot, but I'm not... I already told y'all that I haven't even bought a snake since the one back in like... June or July, whichever month it was... And I was still employed... I haven't bought anything for the car, the turbo is just a wishlist item that I would love to have, but obviously don't considering "knowing me so well" as y'all do, I would be bragging about it, right?

so anyway... y'all can assume whatever you like, it doesn't bother me, because the handful of ppl or so that have these personal issues honestly don't matter to me...

I will wait for Yvonne to respond either on here or to me personally so that we can resolve this... She can come get her stuff whenever she pleases provided I get a check for the owed amount... Then this entire issue can be resolved and over with...

I still need to get to my bank and get deposit records which I should be able to have tomorrow... My online banking will only go back 90 days...

The thing about the BOI is, anyone can come on here and speak their mind about the situation. No one can be told it is not an issue they can voice on. It was brought to the public, on several levels, evidently, and therefore, has now become, essentially, public domain.

The dirty laundry has been put out to dry and all the neighbors are ready to see it.

I had not really been paying a lot of attention to this thread, but seeing it pop up again had me arching a brow.

Obviously, you are owed money, evidently, that person acknowledged it, but I can easily see where the actual amount has come in question. Though, to be fair, it largely is just "she said this" and "she said this" at this point. Some proof has been shown, but nothing definitive or concrete and that goes for both sides.

So ... that would be where a majority of the debating is coming from, I'm sure.

We have both put in our time in the military, Ryan is still in, and I see NO problem with getting WIC if you can *shrug*... IMO, you are stupid if you don't take advantage of programs that are out there if you can

My husband has been in the USAF for seven years. I have been married to him for about five of those years. He gets deployed (on temporary basis: he is gone for three weeks, home for one, gone for two, home for a few days, gone for four, etc. etc., so sep. pay rarely, if ever, comes about). Frequently. I am left alone. Frequently. It sucks. The military is not a great life. It is not a high paying life. It is often a thankless life ... but, does that make us entitled to extra tax payers dollars (because, largely, military paychecks are given from tax payer funding) because we made the decisions and comittments to either enlist ourselves and marry those who have? No. Do we qualify for it? Probably not now, but I am sure we did at some point. Does that mean we should take it? No. Why? Just because you can do something doesn't mean you need to.

My issue isn't really that you had WIC, honestly, but it is more that you seem to have the mentality of it not being a huge deal because the system is broken and you were able to exploit it. It gives conflicting images on just how much you can trust the word of a person.

That aside, I really do find the military comment a bit irritating. As if it somehow justifies it. I assure you, it does not.

If that's the case, and there is NO AGREEMENT IN WRITING then you need to take it to civil claims if it's a verbal agreement and legal contract in Texas.

And I totally agree, ShadowAced, I felt the "served time in the military" to be "off" a bit...I'm not sure what that had to do with the topic..

I meant that to mean that we WERE both in and I'm not now, but he is still in but even with him being in we still qualified financially while I had no income. not that because we were in we should get it. we shouldn't if we don't qualify, which we don't now...

Unless this thread wildly changes course and starts to inform anyone whether or not someone should or should not buy or sell reptiles to or from the subject or the OP, it should just be allowed to die.

It's clear that you've just been waiting for Yvonne to put an ad online to come on here and air out your dirty laundry, but I fail to see how any of this has to do with reptiles or business except that you both have reptiles. Take it to small claims court if you have a dispute about bills, not every reptile forum you've ever stumbled upon.
