In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Zach Ashwood bad deal.....

Great! The readers don't have to read over multiple pages to find out that your a scumbag selling sick and dieing animals. That you will refuse and ignore a issue. That's a great judgment call.

POS!

Well, Dennis summed it up PERFECTLY. Thanks dennis! Now I don't haveto chime back in and this basically an elaborate bump. *drops smoke bomb and walks out*

You are a disgrace!

Same as the other thread started.

I am being completely fair and you telling me I'm not does not bother me. That's fine that you're going to talk to the credit card company if that's what you feel you need to do. But I'm not refunding you any money. I sold you a healthy, eating snake. He was 100% outwardly healthy and like I said if I thought for any reason he was sick I never would have shipped him.

The boa has been out of my hands for very nearly a week. That means I don't know how the boa has actually been cared for for the last week. I can't take an animal back after a week. Most people wouldn't. I understand that he's worried but he immediately starting bashing me the second he got a chance. I'm telling you when he sheds he'll be happy and he'll be apologizing to everyone. I'm a very reasonable person but I'm also realistic. I'm not taking a boa back after a week. That's ignorant business. Like I tried to tell Mike. When he left my house he had eaten 5 days before (Rat Fuzzy) he was wrinkled on his neck and tail but nothing even close to what I've seen before (in boas that shed and then looked perfectly normal). None of my boas are sick in any way,

And what happened? The Shriveled up animal died in the end.

Now this one.

That's very unfortunate to hear. I never had any issues getting her to eat or anything else. But there is no way I could have known she had anything internally wrong. I'm not a breeder and when I sell animals I do not give any guarantees other than live arrival. So I can't issue a refund. I'm sorry this has happened but the reptiles I sell I sell as outwardly healthy. She had never showed me any reason to have to make a trip to the vet. Her poop was always as it should be and she always ate for me. She is plenty healthy to get over this hump.

Zach
I've said all that I'm going to say to Kevin/Jessica. So you can keep posting here but I probably won't even read it. And Mike dude you got your refund against my better judgement so just go away and feel lucky I gave you anything.

You have a couple of good posts regarding purchasing animals, now you have a couple of threads of selling emaciated animals. Not far to jump to the conclusion that you find it easy to purchase animals but have a hard time taking care of them before trying to pawn them off.

Your first response in both threads is, Well, basically, they arrived alive. That's all you guarantee. Marvelous example of your honesty and integrity. You are a lousy seller and a disgrace to this hobby. IMHO.

You offer no customer service and as a defense you offer the fact that you are no breeder and this isn't a business. Well, it isn't a hobby for you either in the same respect as others here. Unless, your hobby is seeing how many people you can stick with the victims of your lack luster keeping abilities.

Just to clarify the above. I'm finding it hard keeping my feeble mind challenged as I age. Trying to learn new words each day. I'm on O's.

Probable Obelize Seller!

obelize to condemn as spurious, doubtful, or corrupt
relating to text or passages.

Or if you prefer-

Provided Objurgation of this Seller.

rebuke, severely, scold

Those that may have thought it was the more common meaning, I have no objection to or control of you thinking such things. :)

So Zack, are we just supposed to believe that for some crazy reason when you ship animals they loose 1/2 their body weight in transit?? :shrug01:

Or would it be easier for us to believe the truth.. Which is that ZACK ASHWOOD is an internet scammer who will post pictures of formally healthy animals and then to save himself the expense of a dead animal or a vet visit he will sell them to you when they are sick and dying, most likely due to his poor husbandry skills.

What it comes down to Zack is that you are a disgrace to this hobby!

I have said it before and i will say it again.. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ZACK ASHWOOD!!

Just an update on Daizy's well being. She ate 8 ml of the butternut squash slurry this AM. She is turning yellow again. I tried to feed her lunch, but she was still full. I will try again in a bit. BTW she is not a bit shy. She likes to be out of her tub. She sits on my chest and watches TV......Thank you all for your support. It makes this a bit easier.

Yes the snake may not have died because of "disease, parasites or anything else like that" but that snake DID die of severe dehydration and malnutrition. That poor little snake died of weeks (possibly months) of neglect. I've bred and owned boas and I've NEVER had a baby look that bad even when being a runt of the litter.
It may be "through" for you because you still want to salvage anything you can to potentially scam someone else into buying a neglected animal off you.

That poor baby was so malnourished that you could see bones! Stuck shed DOES NOT do that normally show the snake's jaw bones.

You truly are a BAD GUY who tries to sell the animals you've neglected for weeks (or months) to unsuspecting people. Had that poor thing not died you know damn well you wouldn't have refunded a dime even if the reports came back worse then what they did. Your willingness to neglect animals then sells them to me this isn't 'through'. Especially because you're still doing it!

I hadn't even read this whole - new thread before posting in your other BAD GUY thread.

What a shame that you're an animal abuser that tries to profit off your neglect!

Jessica,
I do hope that Daizy pulls through and continues to progress to being a healthy girl after the abuse she received. She's in great hands now and thank you for saving her.

Great customer service Zach. Not even gonna look at this, huh? The reptile community isn't so huge, and eventually word will get out that you will do zero to fix problems you know darn well of when these animals are shipped, and then who will you pawn off your sick and underfed animals onto when you tire of them?

Unbelievable.

Zach... Just a Note to you!! The SPCA In your area may not look kindly on your husbandry if they were to .. say... Stop in because people complained about receiving sick animals from you!! They don't take kindly to abuse and malnutrition in ANY TYPE of animal!! You Are a DISGRACE to the Reptile Community and I hope this thread stays at the top until something is done to clean up your act!!

Just my .02

Thanks Cathrine! You are right. The SPCA does not look kindly on animal abuse... Maybe Zach needs to watch Animal Cops Houston....

Jessica

I cannot get the images of "Starving Marvin" and Daisy out of my mind. I would be embarrassed to ship any animal in that condition out. Both those precious animals needed vet care before they left your home and should of never been shipped.

I am so sorry that Marvin didn't make it. Kevin and Jessica thank you for taking good care of Daisy. I am sure with your support and care she will become the happy, healthy dragon we know she can be instead of the scared, shy dragon that Zach states she was in his care.

We might get much updates from Zach but I for one would like to hear updates about Daisy's progress.

Get Well Soon Daisy.

I think some people try to pawn off a sick or less than stellar animal on someone, and make a buck, instead of keeping the animals set up properly, or taking a sick animal to a vet.
