    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Fire and Ice Dragons (Terri Sommella)

Yes they proved it is a real person. But more to the point they proved that this person is a business partner of the Fire and Ice company. Beings that this person is Fire and Ice UK. Meaning that this persons opinion is swayed by the fact that they are partners. It would be just like someone having their best friend, family member, or wife come on here and make a good guy post about them.

I have no hate or love for you or your company I am only stating what I know. I could care less if you do or do not make a sale and I certainly am not taking customers from you cause the people that would put 400 dollars down on a egg are not people that do business with me in the first place. I breed for high quality pets. I would never call myself a "professional breeder" like yall. And the fact that yall doctor photos is so obvious on your site that it is not even funny. Anyone with an ounce of photography background could call that one. You need to catch your tone and maybe talk to people like you would like to be talked to. Let's see the EXIF data.. I used their male "Photon" off of their website. This should put it all to rest about the whole "picture doctoring". I saw something about the Adobe Photoshop on the EXIF data, but I'm not too good at reading EXIFs so I'm not sure where to read in regards to color.

I'm a small breeder in the UK, i do import dragons for other breeders as well as my self from Terri

any one with a brain cell can find that out just use the www

if you look more closely you will find out Ive a very good name as a breeder
and spend a lot of my time helping newbies to reptile keeping

i stand by my original post Ive had no problems with Terri at all

Nothing to do directly with my situation but proving that this poster is a direct business associate does not add anything to her case either. It would be similar to having a friend or a relative hop to my defense on here. Of course they would be biased on my behalf.

It wasn't the wait he was having a problem with.. it was the health concerns about the size of the dragons.. and then the flip-flopping about shipping and dragon size in the emails sent to him.

It's outlined in detail in the first couple pages of this thread.
 
My issue is that I have been given the run around about the delays. As I have stated many times, the weather part of things, I understand. I get told it is the weather then I get told it is the size. I got an email that said she would provide me a pic of the dragon today, then she says in two weeks.

Now I don't know about you but I have considerable doubt that if I did continue down the path of getting the dragon, if there was any type of health issue that my situation would be handled professionally. Would you want to buy from someone who attacks your integrity?

I am giving Terri time to respond to emails as well as this thread. I suspect that she will not reply to my inquiries as to me being threatening, untruthful, or what business policy she would be breaking by honoring her refund policy which has been posted here a few times.

The OP has also stated several times that at this point he would rather just get a refund rather than the dragon. She should have no problem giving him that refund based on her own refund policy written on her website.

I think the issue began as a miscommunication between Josh and Terri. Josh was told that he would get a dragon from the older clutch if there was a hold back quality female available. Since there was not, Josh opted for the younger clutch which were 2 weeks old at the time. In one email Terri had said that it takes roughly 4 weeks to reach the right size for shipping, but she also said the the 2 week olds would need an additional month to grow. So, Josh was thinking four weeks total and Terri was thinking four weeks longer.

Josh got nervous after finding other negative feedback and decided that he just wanted a refund since he was not getting the attention he felt he deserved. Both Terri and Josh felt like they were getting the run around and it's turned into a bit of a spat.

When Mark decided to chime in right as people were starting to gnaw into Terri it didn't do much but rouse more suspicion. Mark can be undeniably linked to being a "rep" for Fire and Ice based on his own postings on various sites as well as through others crediting him as such. Mark is affiliated with Terri in a business partnership and thus his anonymous praise seems contrived. His original post as well as the praise on the Fire and Ice website make him appear to be unaffiliated with Fire and Ice and he describes himself as a happy customer. Whether Terri asked for Mark's help is irrelevant as Mark's laudatory remarks reflect his own interests as a representative of Fire and Ice.

Since Terri's TOS is a bit open-ended when it comes to refunds, I think the best move is to just give Josh his money back and save some face.

What a quick google search turns up is that you are affiliated with Fire and Ice and therefore could potentially have a swayed opinion about them.

The first post ever on fauna coming to aid of someone on a BOI thread can sometimes seem suspicious. Not always the case, but there are MANY times when a family member, business associate, friend or whatever posts trying to make one party or another look better or worse.

You are correct. Stuff happens. It just so happens that I am not happy with our current business arrangement and I am requesting a refund. Even though we deal in reptiles, customer service is still a necessary component in the business.

Since the deal isn't between you and him, you don't really need to understand "why" he wants the refund. Whether "sh.t happens" or not, it's not your place to say, as the transaction was between him and her...:rolleyes:
 
If you look at her site, there are two hatch dates for the Mia x Photon pairing.

Babies Hatched: 6-7-10 SOLD OUT
Second Clutch Hatched: 7-3-10

My suspicion is that she over sold the first clutch and bumped me to the second and I am being mislead to believe that I am still on the first clutch that I had originally bought from.

Ive been a breeder for quite a few years
if you look for G&G dragons you will see some of my dragons on the forum

i spent meny years banging my head against a brick wall trying to breed British dragons and not getting any where

so i jumped on a plane and visit the USA , visited a few well know breeders
and came to the conclusion fire and ice dragons where what i needed

I'm now known in the UK as fire and ice UK, only because its where people know they can get a fire and ice dragon from, not a normal that Joe blogs says is a fire and ice dragon

the name stuck then Terri asked me would i be her rep in the UK and i agreed

all this has happened over the last 4 years

but you can still find the G&G dragon for sale

Why are you hung up on the flipping flag?
It's an icon that's used on the site there is a whole mess of them just to right side of the screen when you post. I could have easily picked any one of them, just like any user can. There are a few loads worse than the flag.

I'm sure the OP is pretty put back at this whole mess with his dragon and money.

things need to calm down or no one is happy

business arrangements in the USA seem to be different than here in the UK

when people enter in to an agreement [like your self] with me they understand its none refundable so they don't do it lightly

would you not consider having the dragon you ordered?????
