I do have a question, does anyone know what the crested in question looks like at 2am or 5am for instance ? cresteds changed colors all day depending on temp, cage mates , stress , misting ...etc

I have cresteds that are very colorful at different times of the day and wont look anything like that 4 hours later ... dark , drab etc.

just curious because quite a few of my lighter toned geckos do occasionally look .... well... dark, even my flaming reds will sometimes look real brown ..

Exactly what abuse of power? That's how Andrew registered his acct. Just like some folk's might mistake your sub-title under your name, "Facilitator" as an appointed position on the BOI.

No need to defend yourself, it was stated before many times that a true "Moonglow" would never turn to a more drab olive color and was also stated by the seller "I tried to get him "fired up" but he really stays pretty much this color", from your pics and what you have stated he has been no where near the color of the presale photos and as far as Im concerned that is missleading the customer to make a sale. After all this I truly believe that you are entitled to a full refund with shipping costs on her dime, End of story!

Disagree all you want - but take the discussion someplace else. I'm not heading off criticism, I don't care what people say about him....but this thread is not about him. The point has been made that people don't like that he signed his post President, USARK. If anybody feels the need to continue on that subject - PM him - it is off topic in this thread

I think you should go back through and read his posts..Telling someone to "cease and desist" is somthing you would hear a cop tell to some bank robbers..You ask whats wrong with defending Kimberely??..This person is "in charge" of "trying" to keep herp bans from happening...So he also decides to stand up for scammers??....Uh how bout nnnoooo...!...I would never stand up for a friend who did somthing like rip someone off...Especially if I was "trying" to do good things for the herp community..You putting two and two together yet??..And if you wanna reply,try doing it here to see what sense it makes versus leaving me bad karma...Thats what people do when they know they are not right....

Im just glad the original poster got a solution to the issue at hand. The seller needs to go take a course at the local cc on business ethics and marketing. She wont be in business too much longer with her customer service.
As for Mr Wyatt, he needs to keep his USARK title out of threads such as this. All he's managed to do is put a bad taste in everyones mouth about his organization now. Real smart guy.

I was just skimming until I saw Andrew Wyatt's post, so I went back and re-read everything. It's a shame to see him here going to bat for the seller that has just shown her character and lack of integrity on this thread. That's all I'll say about that.

As for the transaction at hand, there are a few points I'd like to make.

1. The OP contacted the seller respectfully and tried to resolve this issue privately before posting here. The seller was unreasonable with regards to his requests.

2. The seller publicly stated that the OP was not the only one interested in the gecko in question, yet acts as though she is being screwed over by refunding the money less shipping. If that's such a concern, why not see about brokering a deal with one of the other interested parties?

3. The seller is clinging to her questionable TOS with such vigor, it is clear that she cares nothing about the animals or customer service. She cares about her "POLICY" and dollar signs, and lacks a moral compass.

Kimberly, do yourself a favor....take the money and run. I hope it was worth it, because I just watched you trash your own reputation for the sake of making some money. Congratulations! Your integrity is officially worth $450. You could have made this right before it ever went public, and not lost a penny. Nice work.
