.Greetings. I saw you mention my business name in your ad. While I do not have specific recollection of selling you anything, I sell so much, I may not accurately recall. In aany case, I can have such as Chameleon Forums, and all other advertising formats, remove any reference to me from any ads you post. Hope that all is well, and wish you much success otherwise.
However. You and me have a problem. That you can easily remedy. You currently owe Wendy in WA $100. Just cut the crap, and send her the $100. Then attempt no more business with her. I highly recommend that you fix this, and fix it now. If you do not, I will go out of my way to mention your business habits, of which I do not approve, in my website. In detail. I will also speak of you in ways to many of my West Coast customers that will not put you in a good light. And I will do it with conviction.
This is an easy fix for you. Send the $100. Confirm to me that you have done it.. Then move on wiser. Take care. Thanks.
Jim.

I won the claim with paypal but then she appeals it and that's it where I'm at. .
Then she tells The Chameleon Company that I owe her $100 and they send me a threatening letter stating I must pay back Wendy Childs of WA or they will destroy me.
.
What address did Jim's email generate from? Who is the PayPal account register to? She's used her aunt's PayPal in the past.
Wendy has a history/pattern of idle, veiled threats and feigning "victim", as well as a history of poor customer service, poor judgement, excuses and questionable practices.
Before he was banned Jim was always her mouth-piece, he always fought her battles for her (for whatever illogical, irrational reasons).
Please don't waiver in your PayPal claim. You deserve every penny back.
Save every email, every voice mail or text msg, any correspondence at all. Don't pay attention to veiled threats.will have for sale.
you have a whole community here to give you support and many who an personally back you up with info on how they have been dealt under hand by wendy. don't let these fake scare tactics stop you from getting your money back. i have read many of the wendy BOIs and she always seems to deploy the same tactic, trying to bully her way into keeping both reptiles and money. If you do not, I will go out of my way to mention your business habits, of which I do not approve, in my website. In detail. I will also speak of you in ways to many of my West Coast customers that will not put you in a good light. And I will do it with conviction.
Jim

No. When a banned member logs in they get a vBulletin message stating:Can a banned member still send pm's on fauna?
While logged in, the only navigation item that works is the Contact Us page. You have been banned for the following reason:
(ban explanation shown here)
Date the ban will be lifted: (Date and Time shown here)
Since the OP has proof of no wrongdoing, would this not constitute libel?
Sorry, WHAT???
Any chance that this came from 'Jim' because Jim is already banned and threats against members are grounds for suspension? Wouldn't want to risk an active membership.
Well, the OP has proof that she sent a payment. There is no tracking number to trace 15 animals, so I guess I am making the 'leap' that they were never sent. But, it seems as though they were not. Therefore, intentionally defaming the OP's business with the false statement that he 'owes $100', becomes libel the second it is put out as an email.Unless you are a friend of Ms. Childs, I can't see where the leap you have made above would make any sense to a rational person
Brandon,
You've referred to it as a letter, then an email...now it was a PM?
Was this on ChameleonForums.com?
I said letter meant message. Does the form of delivery really matter? You asked me to post it then you question the authenticity of it.
My only intent for this entire post was to warn people. I have already received my money back and I'm not trying to persuade people in my favor. Again, this was purely meant as a warning.

I'm stating that I personally do not believe that 15 animals were successfully sent and recieved without any tracking whatsoever. I'm also stating that it seems to me an implausible coincidence that there was a shootout, a city shutdown, a major health problem with the seller, a complete loss of tracking by UPS, and someone willing to steal 15 chameleons on the belief that all tracking would disappear, all in the same week. I admit I could be wrong. If I am, I apologize.
