In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry BallBids.com?

They just added that, according to facebook. It is overly fishy that this NeverGoneStop wins all of the auctions, they say its a 3rd party program, then they come back saying they're legit and get the snake... and somehow they know details about the person being a Elem. Teacher? Nope. Chuck Testa.

There are all these auctions popping up everywhere to sell Ball python morphs. This not a good idea it will kill that market. People will catch on and set up fake bids, they will have a friend always out bid the highest until they get to where they want. This is a old school scam. Watch out and be careful where you do auctions and who the person is that is doing it. Just looking out for everyone. Serious about this. They are all over Facebook now.

I just saw that and I didn't see this post before I posted the same thing in general business. These auctions are popping up everywhere on Facebook!

Please be careful if you guys try them out. I do not think it is a great idea because, it makes the reptile industry look real shady.

Someone on the FB page said that they had just posted as the NvrGoneStop, or whoever it is, but I can't see how or where they did that.. Anyone know if FB would have shown something like that?

I remember a auction scam in the 80's in L.A. where guys would do this at swap meets, real shady! I am sure some of these guys are going to do the same thing.

If the person has been around the industry for a long time then ya wouldn't think it is that shady because they can back up the inventory and helps market their business.

Can't be for certain... I'm not even sure, the screencap posted LOOKED like it had an accurate timestamp, but beyond that, I'm not so sure... it was a small image, too.
What I do have problems believing is that this person is a teacher with the poor grammar they seem to have... as well as spelling errors in their username. I dunno, maybe all my teachers were just nitpicky old bitties.

LOL This is called "working the system", this is the same way I win on Quibids. There are a few strategies that can help. If many auctions are ending at the same time, if you bid right after someone else, if you have bought more bids than anyone else, how much you are willing to spend, ect. All this will help you win...BIG time.

Is it weird the same guy won? Maybe, but being that they are a new site with NOT too many paying members it doesn't surprise me.
Mark my words, IF they keep these auctions going and gain some sort of paying customer base...auctions will go on longer and be harder to win.

AGAIN this COULD all be a scam, I just don't think so. There would be no point. As I stated earlier these guys will make WAY more money doing this legitimately than by scamming a few people and shutting down.

As far as the guy claiming to "know penny auctions", he probably does. IT isn't too hard. For any of you who want a better odds, watch the hundreds if not thousands of videos on youtube about how to win penny auctions. Some are no help, but SOME of the videos will clue you in about things.
Then you too can write a "I know penny actions" statement.

"I know penny auctions"

So it looks as if I am taking back my last statement and changing it to THEY(as in the guys running the site) tried to work the system. I think the fellas just got caught up doing some very bad things to themselves.
Hopefully someone will post the screenshots from FB.

A couple idiots ruining a good idea. Too bad.

Now if I am reading this right, if you make a bid you pay to make the bid and the amount of the bid. Yes people have their free bids, but due they also have to pay what they bid?

the bids cost money but you only pay the actual bid amount if you win. I was really lost on how you got over $1,000, so I think that might clear it up.

The albino went for $4.87 (487 pennies), if the average bid costs the bidder $0.66, then they made = $321.42 + winning bid $4.87 = 326.29, and since shipping is free, then they lose the $50-75 shipping cost. They seem to be making more off selling the bid packages at this point. At least that's how I'm seeing it, if my math is incorrect, someone say so.

And I think I saw on their TOS that they will limit the amount any one person can win, to prevent people like that I guess. To what extent though, no clue

They sold a butter female Thursday. I checked it out, when the timer is over, if they dont make what they want they add an hour. Its 55cets a bid and it only goes up 1 cent every bid they get that high.. 100 bids is a dollar x.55 cents a bid so the Dollar u pay is = $55 in bets collectively........ Smart...... $10.00 snake = $550 i don't no what you pay the site or how that works but... Dont no enough+winter====== Risky but there could be reward

There's so many factors in how much they are making. If you buy 30 bids it's .90 each...probably the most popular purchase. Then lets say you get 30 bids by winning a bid pack for 1.00. That's $91 in their pocket for 30 bids...bringing those bids up to $3.00 each!! Now when those are used plus the .90 bids being used....well, you can see how much money is going into their pockets. I'd venture to say that they are getting at least $1.00 per bid after all the bid packs are bought and won via auction.

Do you purchase a bid pack or do you bid on a bid pack? I am lost

You can do both. But you probably need to buy a bid pack before bidding on bid packs unless you are the luckiest person alive with your 5 free bids. They auction off 30 bid packs as well as snakes from what I can see. That's what that nrvrgonastop dude won.

That rvrgonastop dude is the owner of the site! :shootfoot

Yeah, that's what I suspect as well. But, why would he do that so soon? You would think he would let a few "real" auctions go off for a month or so to see if it was worth doing or not. It's way too suspicious right off the bat. I don't see them making it through the winter. Plus when dead snakes start arriving from the winter cold, that's when it will get really ugly. Horrible business plan in my opinion.

Oh I dont think they will make it much through the weekend. People aren't happy. Someone has the proof. I am on a notebook so I can't do screenshots or anything. I saw it though. It shows flat out that it is him. They are finished.

Like I have said, they ruined what could have been a good idea. :shootfoot
