In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Charles Looney Blue Venom Reptiles and Jessica Daniel and John Owens Triple Jreptiles

You are correct. LOL sorry but I realized there is no getting through to Dan once he has started no matter how wrong he is. I have a hard wired limit to the nonsense I can take before I gotta say whats on my mind. But really Its about the facts and not winning one over to take your side. I mean it should be but you are correct. You have to be political to win over most and right and wrong can sometimes have little to do with it. Just like the permit thing. He reads quick, jumps the gun and pops off and is wrong. Then he just comes at another angle to win the argument. Will he rad it correctly and realize I am right and apologize for calling me a liar? No he wont and I lost the respect for him. He is running in one direction and wont be changing course no matter how much he sees he is wrong.

And on top of that he is being nothing but rude no matter how civil i am in return so Thats fine. I am not mad. I am just going to treat him the same unless he decides to not be so rude himself.

You need a class III to sell any reptile in the state of Florida
You have a very interesting and likely self-serving interpretation of the law. You need a class 3 permit to sell something that's not only not on the class 3 list? I'm not seeing that distinction being made on their website. Well, prove me wrong. Cite your source of your information. Let's see it. And, no, just you saying so isn't going to cut it.

Its on the site you are looking at Dan. I dont have to site anything. lol

Thats the law. Been doing this in Florida for a long time. I have seen others make that same mistake you did but have also seen children figure the site out and see it. Its there keep looking or ask any florida reptile dealer with the permit. There are lots of them. You have had the same trouble reading postd and getting time lines mixed up and jumping to call me a liar when in fact I am not lieing. It is there and I stand by what I am saying that if you sell or trade one reptile in the state of florida without a class III permit to sell or exhibit wildlife you are violating the law. Why you think I am just making up all this that I am saying is beyond me. All I can do is site the FWC webpage. Keep reading and you will see it is all clearly there and you dont have to do any guess work.

E. Class III Wildlife

A permit is required for personal possession, exhibition or sale of Class III wildlife. Class III wildlife are all species not listed as Class I or Class II; and not among those species that are specifically listed as not requiring a permit for personal possession in rule 68A-6.0022, FAC.

There is no formal list of Class III species. You must check the lists of Class I, Class II, and species not requiring a permit to determine if an animal in question is a Class III species. Florida residents 16 years of age and older may apply for permit to possess, exhibit or sell Class III wildlife.

Note: A special permit is needed to import leopard tortoises (Geochelone pardalis), African spurred tortoises (G. sulcata) or Bell's hingeback tortoises (Kinixys belliana) from another state.

There is more info on the siteabout it also. look at the application.

I will copy the permit app.

Cant attatch the app but you can go see it. Funny how you say I am lieing and sooooo many people know I am correct in how the law works when It comes to selling reptiles here in Florida. Also the girls know it and anytime it comes up they clam up and not only will not and can not produce the permit. They will not even comment on it.

Not sure what you think that proves, as it actually what I read that seemed to clearly reinforce my interpretation. However, despite the fact that you're citing the wrong information, it turns out that you're right about needing a permit to exhibit, breed or sell reptiles. It's pretty funny that even when you're right, you're still kinda wrong.

Given the ambiguous wording of your above quote, it's not surprising that people would unknowingly be in violation. It doesn't make much sense to need a class 3 permit for the sale of animals that are clearly designated as needing no permit to possess. Despite your attempt to make it seem like there was some lacking in my degree of comprehension, it was simply a lack of information.

So, congratulations, you finally managed to be honest and correct about something. Through none of your posted information, I still stand corrected. If the seller doesn't have the permit, it's a strike against her (as I clearly already stated). Still doesn't change a whole lot, as it's tangential, at best. All other points still stand.

Thanks for letting your true colors seep through, though. It's responses like those you've made in the past few hours that demonstrate exactly why this transaction went so horribly awry. Your own tactics and agenda are what brought this thread about.

Now you can heave your heartfelt sigh of relief. I really am done with this. It's all there in black and white for anyone that cares to sift through it. Continuing to bury the information in subsequent posts, BallBS style, serves no one but you and yours.

Adios, trainwreck. :bolt01:

Thanks for jumping into this, Dan. I had a strongly uneasy feeling about Charles & Pals, but wasn't sure how to put it into words. That, and everything posted by all the involved parties has been an absolute chore to read. This thread is practically covered in slime.

I guess Charles doesn't break the speed limit. My point is, so she doesn't have her permits. It is a calculated risk that she is taking just like when you drive over posted speed limit. If she gets caught she will pay the fine. Let fwc investigate and catch her not you. Just like it's the polices job to catch speeders not yours. I have read all this post and I understand that all parties involved were wrong in dome way but I get a slimy and bullying feel from Charles. I don't care if you have been doing it for 15 years you can still be not nice. I don't know any people involved with this I am just a bystander reading from the sidelines and formulating an opinion. I can tell you this I won't be buying from Charles and I am sure Charles will respond that that's fine he doesn't need my money anyway.

:iagree:

Mr. Looney seems like quite the bully to anyone that doesnt kiss his :bleep:. There are plenty of other good people to buy from in this industry that dont come with the extra drama :yesnod:

Charles, you are a bully. Lay off the testosterone and learn to just let it go. That's your problem. You just can't let go. You're making yourself look really bad. And all over a transaction which had nothing to do with you until you injected yourself into it. Enjoy your new reputation...:shrug01:

It was not a lack of information. Thay are part of a group that these rules were fully explained to on many occasions. The same sites they advertise to sell on explain the rules clearly.

I dont remember having anything for sell so these are all moot points. You state you dont wish to buy from someone who has nothing for sell. Making excuses for herp law violators is not serving the industry either.

Too funny. Its ok to mention someone being not nice but not for wildlife violations. Point taken.

Really dont know why I even came back to this thread. The point has been made about the girls slimy deals. The truth is out about the wildlife violations. If you think I was to hard on them I am fine with that. Like I said I have nothing for sale so I can take that risk. And if I do at least I will be doing it legally. At least I was there as dan seems to post as much as me and was not. They wont be flipping herps in the panhandle and that was the goal. I hope someone does get the ones they have and they are taken care of. Dont worry Dan I wont be hurting your feelings anymore I am done with the whole deal. Like someone else said the FWC can take it from here.
