    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Carolina Reptile Exchange, selling Pieds

Well we had 2 females go this year (het pied from HCE),and no pieds.I have been emailing them about our $9000.00 we spent,and want back now.We are not getting any where with them.All i want is our money back or some pieds from them.

This probably doesn't matter as I highly doubt they will prove out anyways, but is it this the first or second breeding? What was their guarantee when you bought them? I'm asking because they have changed it many times. The latest one was that you paid half price (more than likely for normals), and you did not have to pay the other half if you did not produce pieds. What a deal!
 
No the ones we bought were 100% guarnteed to be het pieds.This was there first year laying eggs.And only two were big enough to go this year.I am 100% sure these are just normale.Trust me this sucks.
 
Who it was!...Harry Eisenmann, who passed away several years ago. His son continued to sell hetero for pieds under his father's name.

I hear you! The problem is that they are guaranteed by person that's no longer alive. Did his son Bruce ever get back to you to discuss the conditions of the guarantee?

Oh.....ok. They got me too but on a much smaller scale. 1.1 Amazons that were suppose to be perfect were garbage. The male that looked terrible in the pic was even worse when I got him and the pic was months old so I was told and he was completely recovered from his bad shed. The female had a resp infection so they were given away before they hit my front door. Live and learn....

Man, That sucks I really hate people like that I hope you can do something about it


I saw that ad too and was thinking on buying a pair or trio
I guess i knew it was to good to be true

What were the egg counts on the two animals that did drop? Also, was the male used a het or a visual?
 
I just heard from a customer who bred one of the hets he got from me, originally from Bruce. She laid 7 eggs no pieds, it was a het to het breeding. Luckily this guy is understanding, and willing to breed the two females next year to a visible. I am sure I will be refunding that purchase though. Craig Kade
 
Watch out with negative posts about CRE.

Devenomized will give you negative rep points if you say anything about them being scum. Evidently he doesn't appreciate you talking bad about a company he promotes on his website.

I wouldn't worry about that. With a "Rep Power" of ZERO, his negs cost you nothing (and his positives are worth the same -- nothing).

I just posted one of my"het" females for sale on kingsnake after I noticed he had posted more for sale. Here is a copy of my ad.

I have an adult het pied female from the Bruce at Carolina Reptile exchange. She is well over 1500 grams. I bought this female back when he was selling snakes under his dead father's name, and company Hce. To my knowledge nobody has ever proved out one of his hets, several have been bred, just no pieds have come of it. This snake is probably not a real het, but if you are thinking of buying a questionable het this one will save you some time, you can prove it is not this year. I can send you a copy of my original receipt, and a copy of my paypal to Bruce.
Price is only $2500.

Please nobody think I am trying to rip anyone off. If anyone buys that female from that ad, they are nuts. Hopefully k/s does not find a reason to pull the ad.

That is a great ad. I wonder how long they will let it stay up. I bet not long.
 
Probably won't. I also posted on the ball forum, not mentioning names. I really wish we could do something about it. My only hope is he sells a couple to the wrong guy, and pays for it big time. Craig
 
Although they say they back-up their animals 100% there is always a third party involved. In this case a member of the cooperative a so called “Dave Hanner. As a last recourse you can always blame the failure on someone else, usually non-existent. Very similar to the breeder “Don King”, Drew Kosda’s (Herpcorner) supplier of heterozygous boas, who was producing het albinos and double het for ghost like hot cakes and nobody knew him. Bearded Pets had also an escape goat name which now escapes my mind. CRE are still in business because they keep a low profile and by paying absolute no attention to the claims against their illegal activities. Remember that Bruce was even accused of animal cruelty when he owned those malnourished tigers and even then he bounced back from it. One day they will make a bigger mistake and it will not end as nice.
 
"Don King"? That's the most splendiferous snake known to man!! The breeding of the century!

These scammer's failure to make an attempt at originality in their lies is enough to humor me.
 
Guys, there is a brand new ad for a 1.1 pair of 100% het albino boa's on the classifieds right now for sale at $700 that herpcorner aka Don King produced. Coincidence?
