Looking for a good deal and sending money to Russia via Western Union for $100 albino ball pythons are 2 different things.

Smart people look for a good deal.

Stupid people send the cash when the deal is ridiculous.


CRE and the scammers target stupid people. Hate to say it but it's true. When you see people sending money overseas for animals that are listed at 1/10th or less than what the market value is or when you continue to buy from known scammers just to save a few bucks, then they are stupid.

No one is going to send a money order for $2K to buy an animal for $100 and have you wire the balance from the sale back to them. If the MO was real, they would cash it themselves.

No albino or pied BP is going to be $100.

CRE is selling it's stock cheap not because they aren't a "big time breeder" but because they are crooks and no one but someone looking to get something for nothing is going to buy from them.

Crooks and scammers seek out stupid people (it appears from the business they do that there are a lot out there) because no one with 1/2 a brain would ever deal with them.


Yes. Scammers are scum but their customers are also to blame (greed and stupidity).

There are SO many websites that have warnings about the Russian sellers, the Nigerian scammers, and CRE. So why are they still in business? Because people don't bother thinking about the deal.

If it sounds too good to be true than it probably is.

There is nothing wrong in looking for a good deal. Truth of the matter is we are all looking for them, right? But when a price breaks your eyes to the point of looking ridiculous, you have to stop and think. Pied ball pythons are selling for let’s say $4,000. A person looking for them knows what they are, and knows how much they command in the market. After all he or she is looking for them. If someone asks him $1,000 for a 6 feet pied ball python, and he stills sends the money…well what can I tell you? Who wants to rip off who?. An acquaintance of mine contacted one of these scammers “Just for fun”, and offered them 50% of the already ridiculously low price those heteros were selling for. You know what the answer was (approximately)? “You put me in a tough spot…but you know what, I need the cage space. Send the money, I trust you’ll make good once you produce visuals”. This person was playing the “cut corners” (jokingly) kind of guy.

A good deal is when both parties are satisfied, a win-win situation. The blame should be on the scammers, we agree on that. And the only way to get rid of them is to cut their source of income. If anyone is looking for a deal, please go where the good deals are…

I agree to a certain extent...
I do beleive what you guys are saying for the most part which i think is "you cant cheat an honest man
However when bidding in an auction or replying to an ad of someone that you've never heard of(and dont know of the B.O.I.) and you pay the asking price or win the bid then the buyer is not Stupid just Ignorant

I have heard fairly credible reports of fools paying $250,000.00 for a blue-eyed leucistic ball python. I think I heard of one person paying $750,000.00 for one, but I find that hard to believe, even considering the number of idiots out there.

They sure have a big heart! So they had actually sending people deposits? Here is what they state on their web site (in red).

Thats because they are reselling the animals they had deposits on from those who lost their homes. As was stated, they have big hearts. They just sell animals out from underneath those who only put down deposits on them.

I just got another reply to my ad, here it is
I talked to mark at the reptile exchange and he stated that you had contacted them about the snake and that you bred her and produced no pieds, He said that you should bring down the snake with the paper work and photo ID and he would refund your money. After that he did not hear from you and found out that you put it up on the internet. I do not want to get in the middle of a he said this story, All I know is that if you should no put up a animal as a het knowing that she is not paperwork or not!!! If she is a good feeder then I will give you market value plus shipping for her. The only reason I am willing to buy the animal still is because I have been ripped off before so I know what it feels like. If you are trying to get your money back then the best thing for you to do is bring it back to Mark and get your money back but I would not sell her as a het that is just ruining your name and reputation as well as future sales. Let me know what you want to do because I need some female anyway. Thanks Erick

PS CRE's latest ad makes it sound like they had TONS of customers from Louisianna.

I asked what would i receive if even after 2 attempts of breeding i produced no pieds, i said i would post a good guy thread if i did produce some. This is what they said:

Lets see all the people who came here to defend them.

1. Harry (Bruces Dead Father) He was posting here and defending them 2-3 years after his death. As soon as we saw the obituary...... Harry DIED AGAIN. He was not banned. He just died again.

2. Then there was Noah. I do not know if he was banned. I just know that a couple of his IP addys he posted from matched up with DEAD Harry's.

3. Then there was the guy named Mark or Mike who says he barely knew bruce. But yet bruce was using his paypal.

4. Then there was the guy who says he ws buying a whole clutch of pieds that harry produced. he was never banned. He just never came back. I mean come on. He was buying a WHOLE CLUTCH of Piedsthat just hatched out that HARRY Produced. he never came back after we told him harry was dead.

5. Then there was the guy who actually produced pieds from harry/bruce/noah/mark/mike. OH WAIT!!! He is either a figment of our imagination......or Harry/bruce/noah/mike/mark, has not made him up yet.

Because if you check around the WHOLE reptile world,
NO ONE has any pieds produced from CRE.
It means we as a reptile community wiped them out.
It means as soon as they say we produced pieds from CRE......we took them out and shot them.

I mean think about it. Look around. Do you see any for sale? Kingsnake will Let ANYONE sell, including the likes of Bruce from CRE. And yet no one has seen any pieds advertised there did they?
NO ONE on ANY reptile site / forum has seen any pieds produced from CRE animals.

NO ONE on the internet. Has seen ANYONE produce pieds from CRE animals.

I would like to see the posters IP addy differ from theirs. In fact I do not want to see that IP be anywehere from SC or NC or GA or TN . (Lets make them travel a couple states over just to post.

The poster should have complete name and addy and phone number.
The poster should produce pictures of the pieds.
The poster should also produce receipts from CRE
The poster should pose with their license.
The poster should agree to being checked out ( to see if their story is real) by some herper close by.
