Being a frequent reader here, I never usually post because things have a way of working out before I can add any thing relevent.

But... this thread really gets my goat with Chuck asking for an apology from a customer that was 100% right about the situation. Chuck, you should have settled it and called it a day.

Now you have removed all doubt about dealing with you with your left field request for an apology. (If anyone was still considering a deal any way).

Unscrupulous people are always super pissed when someone is a little smarter than them and call 'em out. Ever notice that? Happens every time.

Chuck under estimated the buyer and never thought he would weigh the BPs.

I have been thinking and thinking about this...obviously. LOL.....I've been out of town for a few days and haven't had time to post thoroughly.

I don't want to make myself look bad by going back on my word of accepting another lesser female as Chuck's "gesture" to make good.

Online hobby reputations mean EVERYTHING to me. Without our good word and reputation we can't learn to trust each other. Many, many years ago--we were forced to only buy things from Local Pet Shops. With the progression of the internet--we've all been given much more freedom of choice to explore our hobbies. I take this stuff very seriously. I think I have left 2-3 negative feedbacks about hobbyists in 10 years. I would much rather just buy or trade and be happy----I don't need extra hassles in my life----especially about a hobby that I have a lot of passion for.

The fact is---there isn't any way to make good with a buyer who you've intentionally deceived.

I didn't start this thread to get money---and I don't need another gaunt female BP that will need to be fed for a year to be breedable---I wish I would have just received what I bought, (and was advertised in the first place).

So---what do you do when life hands you SCUM??? You make SCUMONADE!!!

Instead of Chuck Tornetta, one of the sleaziest dudes I have ever met in almost 10 years of online trading/selling/buying, sending me a replacement female---and spending $50 on Fedex shipping---

I would like Chuck Tornetta to donate that $50 to his choice of Childrens' Charities---and POST THE RECEIPT FOR THE TRANSACTION HERE AS PROOF OF DONATION.

If anyone sees how this donation can be faked or scammed by Chuck Tornetta---please bring it to my attention. I don't want him reversing a charge to a charity.

This scum was laughing on his last phone call to me "Mark, I have 300 animals---many of them are big dollar---hahaha---these normal BPs are nothing---its a lousy $300."

My response to him was "it wasn't that lousy since you needed it to pay bills and couldn't refund me."

I have been thinking about it and I realize that I am only taking the normal female so that Chuck "pays" for something. So as long as I get him to pay for something (something more worthwhile as well) I thought I would put it out there.

I also thought that a "click" would be less hassle than finding a box, packing and shipping. But again--I just want Tornetta to realize what could happen the next time he decides to put something other than advertised into a box for a buyer.

The last I spoke with Tornetta--we said we would revisit this on Sunday when I came back from my business trip. In the interim, he posted here to say he'd be shipping on Monday and asked for my apology.

I realized by reading some posts that came afterwards----That I didn't start this thread for money for myself. I got taken advantage of---and I hold a grudge---I'm sorry if that offends you. I like that Tornetta's responses outline his typical Customer Service policies---I really wanted this documented--first and foremost.

If had I purchased lunchmeat and got 1/4 pound less x 2, then the appropriate weight of lunchmeat would have made up for it. But I didn't.

I don't think my offering Tornetta a chance to donate to charity (less work--less $$ value to him) should nullify the deal. I'm surprised at your suggestion of that Chuck K---from my lurking---you're not normally someone who would get involved in that way--IMO. You are stealing from starving children.

No hard feelings with you guys at all. You gotta know I would have rathered to just received what I wanted. Another BP is another mouth to feed---and its just settling in. Search "mvite" on Google---you'll see---all I do is BUY, TRADE & SELL (mostly from my aquatic hobbies.)

I admit I can be obsessive with trying to make sure I make a point.

You have the ability to sell the snake after you receive it and do what you want with the proceeds. Also with that you can be sure that the funds actually go to a charity without the help of anyone verifying if the charity is legitimate or not.
