Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Would have rather watched all 3 hours of the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet the other night......Lots of time wasting with no clear winner(except maybe that tan little pit bull looking puppy.....you know the one ;) ).

Yeah. Kick 'em while they're down until they're bloody & unconscious. Then the fun is over. I seem to remember certain "kids" being more fascinated by the animals that still had a little life left in them than the ones that were flat on the road.

That's how it goes, right? (it's been a few years since my days at recess)

"get it" but it upset you. If you didn’t understand my "implication," I’m not really sure how to make it clearer. If you did understand it but it upset you, then I apologize. However, I don’t see how it would upset anyone unless they felt that it in some way applied to them. :shrug01:

My,my aren't you clever.You must have been one of those sickly type children that couldn't participate with the other kids being kids.You probably were pushed down a lot and made fun of.And instead of learning how to deal with it and not take it anymore,you just became secluded and bitter.Not learning how to deal with people in an open frontal manner you decided to twist your words in a clever way so it appears like your not making or taking a open shot at someone.It appears that you prefear to come around from the side or from behind with your words...hummmm not what we call that?Get it?

Well I guess that answers the question of "did you not get it, or did it upset you?" :raspberry

I wasn't "one of those sickly type children," quite the contrary, actually, but damnit I must have grown up. (Granted, I do have momentary lapses) However, with such profound examples of society, it is kind of hard to resist the urge to become "secluded and bitter." Christopher, in the future I will try to reply to you in a more "open frontal manner." My apologies.
 
So, let me get this straight.....Peter Jolles has not ripped anyone off, sells high quality animals, is honest and upstanding in his business dealings (the transactions that actually happen), but his personality just rubs people the wrong way? And the reason this is on the BOI is.....????

I wasnt calling into question that there is any thing wrong with the behavior of the implication...It just apeared to me you were making a pass at me ...telling me how sweet i was . :blush:

Peter this may have started as fun and games for you but you've taken it over the edge time to step back and look at what your doing and have done.. You can't want people to view this way can you??...

The original poster here had a valid complaint, you were way to rude, instead of saying my bad you went off. Now your tearing yourself apart all over the web, I can't believe that saying I screwed up sorry, is harder than what your looking at now.. The I don't care BS doesn't fly and you know it.. Your not burning your bridges your Nuking them!!!! Time to step away from the computer for a good long while and think about what you want.. Count me in among your friends Peter. I bought a couple pairs of kings from you at Daytona. I paid what you were asking and got great animals in return. You answered questions that I had after the sale and I'd buy from you again.

I get low-ballers answering my ads all of the time. If they're in the ballpark of what I'm asking I'll suggest a more reasonable price to them. Otherwise I just hit the Delete key. And the ones that ask for more and more pics, barter on the price and still don't come through....well, I keep my own blacklist, I just don't advertise it, and I don't answer emails from these people in the future. It takes a lot of time to care for a snake collection. I spend a lot of time answering emails and talking on the phone to people that buy from me, but I don't have time for the time-wasters who are always looking but never buying.

I don't see why this thread is even on the BOI. Nobody was ripped off or sold sick animals. If someone got their feelings hurt they should move on and buy from the next guy. Simple as that. Whether or not it's bad business practice the way that Peter responded to this guy is Peter's problem. He's a big boy, let him worry about that.

I disagree wholeheartedly. The original poster did not have a valid complaint for the BOI. No deal went bad, no animals died because of Peter's husbandry practices, and no one lost any money. What we had was a rude reply to an email. Plain and simple.....:thumbsup:
