I don't remember there being anyone by the name of Glades Herp on the left... I'll see if there's a map thingy for the show.
I have admitted to this.TheHerpinator said:#1 Admit that you picked a snake that was already in poor condition (likely)
At the time, I did make a poor decision to 1. Take the snake 2. Not have the things ready for him, like money for a vet.#2 Admit that you did not have the resources to take care of it properly.
The snake was not put down, it died on it's own. Once again, I am not ruling out my husbandry, I just don't think that's what killed himIt is a very sad thing to put down an animal that cannot be recovered. It is sadder to put it down if it can be recovered. It is remorseful to put down an animal that has been put into it's condition (or helped along the path to death) by poor husbandry.
The snake died in my care, but I doubt I was the one that actually killed him.I admire anyone that has such an interest in herps. Know your limitations and realize that your actions have consequenses. Take the snake you killed. Understand its suffering. Empathise with it. Remember it.

Don't rush right into getting another snake.
Good grief.Gecko_Den said:I don't think she wants to get a snake from Regal, sounds more like she wants to now try and blame them for selling her the snake...![]()

Get real Erik how after 3 months did you come to that conclusion ?? Heck most don't give more than a 24 hour health guarantee much less a 90 day one. Beside this girl isn't even sure WHO she bought from.TheHerpinator said:If Paulina were an adult, I would have no reservations in fighting away.
I think Glades passed onto you a snake that they may have known was sick. That sucks in itself. Do NOT let this animal die for no reason. Understand what went on. The things you should have done to either not have bought it in the first place, or to take care of it later.

And the first part of the Quote IE "fighting away" what the heck does that mean??
This kid bought a snake from someone and after 3 months it dies, after she has admitted she didn't know how to care for it and told people it had died once already(maybe it is a Cat snake and has 9 lives and will pop back to life again) And for you to even imply it was the sellers fault is purely Asinine to put it mildly.. You're being an idiot.
You killed that snake by not giving it the vet it needed.
It died in your care. 3 months after you received it.
Please, God, take responsibility. It isn't so dang hard. If you love these guys. Understand that you killed this snake and apply it to the future herps you keep. Killing an animal is a horrible thing, but it's no reason to stop loving them. Just make sure that when you love them, you also feel their pain, their hunger, their needs, their comfort, their joy.
While you're doing that, thank God that you aren't my kid.
