In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Has anyone dealt with Cameron or Ashley Glucheff

I wholeheartedly agree with you Ro. I had thought the same things, although I took it a little further. What I thought of is what happened at the Columbine H.S. in Colorado. Those boys were from a well to do family setting as well. They had way too much time and money on their hands.
Do not think that just because child is from a well to do family it can't happen to them. That is some pretty heavy blinders there.
It is a shame some parents think that outside influences mean more to them than what their children are doing.

I may not have been in any newspapers, but I know at any given time where my children are and what they are up to. :)

I agree with Brian... for all you know you could be just making things harder on yourself. Next time you ship anything, I would make sure you know who you are shipping to. I personally have turned down 3 sales within the past 3-4 weeks due to finding out they were minors with mom or dads credit card.

I think it's a problem many people struggle with. What verification methods do you use to verify that the person you're speaking with is actually the card holder? How do you verify age when someone pays with a money order?

The reason we have been using the same login is that it says she does not have permission to acces this page on hers, but she DOES have one.

The reason Ashley cannot access the BOI with her account is because she has not clicked on the link within the verification email sent to the email address she registered under. This process is spelled out in several places on this site.

I resent the verification email to her just moments ago.

Please help her figure it out Cameron.

I haven't had any problem of this sort but here is my position:

I don't worry about it when it comes to money orders to be quite honest. It isn't our problem to police when parents aren't aware of what their kids are doing behind their backs, it's their job as parents. I am stringent about it with credit cards because I don't want a gecko shipped out, a parent learning their kid stole their card, then reports the card as stolen leaving me without the gecko or the money. If the parents don't want it then they can send it back to me but only would receive part of the cost back after I have received the gecko. That way I am not out too much if the 2 trips are too hard on the gecko and it dies. It may sound harsh to some but I am not in the business to see if my geckos can get more airmiles than I can!

My opinion

I had to speak up in this thread.

Cameron sounds like your typical spoiled little rich kid and mom is your typical rich (insert word of choice). I am sorry but she didn't need to let the reptile community know she makes more then 350 a day, and she spends more then 350 on grooming her dogs, or that Cammy boy lives in his own side of the house and has his own bathroom, and they are going to take the rv for a trip....
She sounds to me like your typical rich snob who thinks the world revovles around her and she is all powerful, thus all the different threats of suing....she has no leg to stand on, yet continues to presume that since she is so well off her word is gold. Wake up honey. Your kid is a little smart a$$ brat.

Maybe if you spent more time teaching him about lying and following rules and business ethics and less time getting your nails done or wandering through this huge house with whole other parts you never make it over to, or driving your dogs to this million dollar groomer(or does the maid drive them?)you'd see what we see....All you see is that little Cammy is upset...will he be upset when he doesn't get on the cover of that publication when you are receiveing your award ? What ever would the Country Club women think if he isn't on there again? Are you going to sue them as well?

Unless this Bruce guy is Cameron's lover, thus the term "partner" then partner to me infers business partner....You are making an a$$ out of yourself and your CHILD by claiming Scott "scammed" him. Your defend this CHILDs actions and never once acknowledge he did wrong in many of his actions. Oh that is right, Rich boy from rich family can do no wrong.

You might be high society in your world but here, you aren't. You may think you are so well educated but here, in the real world where the rest of us live, we could care less. What we care about are our reptiles, our business transactions, and our reputations as a business or just hobbyist. We are rich when we have what we think are the best specimens and when those specimens have offspring. We are educated when a problem arises and we know exactly what to do. We are ethical in our transactions becasue our reputation and success depend on that. And our family is the reptile community around us, good and bad. The last thing anyone needs is to have some child and his bored mother try and bully him and smear his name.

You have clearly and repeatedly tried to elevate yourself above the rest of us by your references to your family, your expenditures, and your education.
You are a snob, your child is a brat, and I support Scott's position in this. Everyone else has restated the facts several times over and if you don't see where Cammy boy is in the wrong then you are also ignorant, blind, and a clueless mother.

Well I am heading to bed, in my 100 year old house with only one bathroom, to my bedroom right across the hall, so I can get up and go to my job where I will never make $350 a day....
and if I had a dog I'd shave him myself before spending that amount on "grooming" him. That remark didn't make me think highly of you, rather I think you are bad with money and priorities.

Before anyone gets a bright idea...

Everyone can forget her remark about $350 per day...she's WAY off on her statement. I am a teacher & it isn't hard to find out the pay scale for schools in her area (matter of public record)...She would be making $350 IF she had a doctorate & MANY more years of experience! Teachers can smell Bu!!sh!t a mile away when it comes to other teachers spouting about pay issues. And I also realized I have a herp room for my animals on the other side of my place & they have their own bathroom as well :D I'm sure I am not a snob, maybe crazy! Has "Anthony or Bruce" posted yet?

so could military folk.

Some snob wanna be rich woman was trying to tell me her husband PRIVATE E-1 was taking home more than $4000 - 5000 a month from the military
Which is incredibly higher than my pay. And my rank is 4 steps above him

I then told her to Listen here B!tc#. Your husbands E-1 pay is public record and available all over the internet. You husband barely clears $1000 a month. And he is in Korea which gives him another 100 or 200 a month

I am glad I am not rich. FAR FROM IT
My sister is married to $$$$$
her kids are financialy set FOR LIFE
my kid is a happier kid.
my kid is better taken cared of in her daily needs.
goes on almost bi monthly vacations....leaves kids with relatives.
It is a shame.......she is my sister too.
It truly is upsetting.
When I see that....I remember to aspire to become absolutely nothing.

Actually I'm willing go out on a limb and say $350/day isn't inaccurate.

Teachers are paid a yearly salary, they get paid during the summer even if they don't teach summer school. We'll be generous here and say 260 days out of the year they are paid for (52 weeks times 5 school days). 260 x 350 = 91,000

Employees of the New York City Board of Education top out at just under 90,000.

I happen to be aware of this woman's education and employment status as it is public record at this time (Ritchie check your PMs) and she doesn't have a doctorate but she certainly does have the credits under her belt that if she is putting in the time she could be making $350 a day when all is said and done.

Jeeze, on our salary scale a teacher with 25 years experience, a masters degree, and 85 credit hours of graduate classes in addition to the master's degree, can make $54,000. We work 183 contract days. This makes my pay approximately $160/day. Hubby, with 10 more years of experience, makes $188/day approximately.

This has become a whole seperate issue from the original post. The purpose of fauna to discuss reptile related issues. Maybe this woman makes money some other way,but is it really that relavant? All it establishes is that some people may lie and other people stoop to their level whenever they feel they have the ability to burn them at the stake.

Ro,
I know that teachers that live in other states do not make as much as teachers in California. Did you know that Texas only pays $28,000 a year? I guess I should be glad that I don't live there!!! Teachers in California are some of the highest paid teachers in the U.S. Beginning teachers in California make $34,000. I was wrong about what I make, I actually make $368.13 for each day I work. I only work 182 days a year. If you are trying to figure that out it is $67,000 a year. One of the reasons I make so much is because I am a special education teacher. I do not work for a school district but rather county schools. County schools runs programs in schools that the district cannot run or staff. If you have any doubt you can access the website http://www.sbcss.k12.ca.us. I have 11 years of experience and I am all the way over on the pay scale. I have a master's degree and am working on my Ph.D. through USC. I also teach part time for the local community college and make $41.00 an hour. I work 106 hours per a semester and teach 3 semesters per a year- this includes summer session. You should call some of the school districts in California and ask for a packet- they always include a payscale. What state do you teach in?

My husband is an E8 and he also makes a lot of money. He brings home over $6,000 a month and this includes housing, separation, and hazard duty pay. While in Iraq his income is tax free! This is great because it lowers our tax bracket.

If you think that living in a big house (3,300 square feet) on two acres, driving a Limited Edition Ford Excursion, having a toy hauler with 3 dirt bikes: XR 50, XR 100, and a CR 125, as well as three quads, a vacation house in Big Bear ( this is our local mountain and ski resort) makes me a snob then so be it. We live a good life!!! I also have made a lot of great investments and have saved over $100,000. We are maxed out on retirement accounts as well.
I work my 182 days and spend the rest of the year vacationing. Our favoite places include Victoria, Canada; Seattle, Washington; and San Diego, California. We take the bikes to place such as Glamis, Dumont, and Pismo Beach. I was already planning to take the kids on a 6 week vacation this summer in the toy hauler. We were expecting to go as far as Texas and Lousiana but I guess we will stop in Illinios as well. I will have to go back to AAA to pick up some more travel books. I am sure that we can find something to do there.

I am sorry that you think we are snobs but if you had the education and experience that I have you could live the same type of life. People always want what they don't have. I have worked hard to be where I am today and I enjoy the life style that goes along with it. Have I always lived this life style-no. When Cam's real dad and brother died in a car accident on July 30, 1988 ( I was 6 weeks preg. at the time and was at work) I decided to make some changes and went back to school. Chris adopted Cameron when he was 5 years old. While I was in school Cam and I lived in family housing at WNMU. It was a hard four years but worth it!!

Yes, Cam is spoiled!! Chris bought him the CR 125 last summer. He is only 15 but is learning to drive. Chris felt that my truck was too large to learn in and bought him a new Toyota Corolla- it is not the Ford150 4X4 that he wanted but he will just have to live with it. He lives on his own wing of our house. He has a large bedroom, his own bathroom as well as a computer/game room. He is also a straight A student who plays football for the high school and races motocross. I keep tabs on him but I do not sit outside his room and watch him every minute nor do I check every email and website that he accesses. I have a very busy life and he is a resposible person. I guess that buying this snake has been a hard lesson for him. It is a two part lesson. The first part was being scammed and buying a snake from someone like Scott Cotey. The second part will be that when someone take advantage of you to fight for what is right. If you are wrong admit it, but if you are right fight with all of your resources.
Cameron is a nice kid, who comes from a good home and has made his mistakes but has learned from them. He never ditches class, he doesn't drink or use drugs, he does well in school and enjoys going, he has a lot of different types of hobbies, and enjoys being part of a very close family who spends a lot of time together. He misses his dad but understands that he has an important mission and will be back in May of 2005. We are all proud of Chris and the job that he does. Someone has to do this and it is obvious that you are not over there fighting for human rights.

This post was originally started to let Ro know he was wrong about my income, but I decided to address a few other things. If you find this post bragging, oh well, deal with it. If you find this post off topic then you need to go back through and look at so many of the other ones. I am not the only person that has posted off topic.

Ashley

Okay, after reading this tale of a factually challenged mother and son, I'll address a few points...

Income of the mother... I could give a rat's ass. It has no bearing whatsoever on what has transpired.

Some snob wanna be rich woman was trying to tell me her husband PRIVATE E-1 was taking home more than $4000 - 5000 a month from the military
Earlier in this thread, it was disclosed that her husband is a MSgt. Given basic pay for an E-7 (assuming he wasn't a fast burner and actually has a decent amount of TIS), FSA, BAH, BAS, Hostile Fire Pay, and Per Diem, it adds up. Bear in mind that 100% of this is exempt from Federal income tax.

As I said, however, neither one of their incomes is relevant to this topic. Therefore, any further replies on tht tangent will be subject to deletion. Steer it back on track folks.

There's more to come later, but I wanted to get this one out there.

relevance

What I fail to see here is how the family income is relevant to the subject at hand.

Somehow, the economic status of the family was used as defence of their moral status.

How, in any logical way, are these two things linked?

Rich or poor, teachers/politicians/cops, religious or atheist - anyone can be irresponsible or downright criminal.

If that's all the proof they can muster that they're in the right and Scott is in the wrong, I wish them luck in front of any judge in possession of his/her faculties.

Someone had said that we had done this for the money, I was simply stating why we were not doing it for the money and proof, or as close to proof as we can get. Then someone said that I was lying about how much I made and that I was a "snob". I was letting him know that he was wrong and giving him the info to check. I was also letting people know that we are rich snobs.

I believe this post is still on topic because I was reviewing why we did not need the $350.

Ashley

Quite frankly Cameron Kelly Gluhcheff I do not think you are doing it for any reason other than to try to get something for nothing. In other words, for whatever reason your friend Anthony caused something to happen to the snake and rather than face that fact you and mommy are going after Scott.
Quit the BS and file your suit, you will lose and you know it. You misrepresented your age and everything else from the start. That alone would cost you any court case without definitive PROOF that the snake was sick when Scott sent it but you weren’t smart enough to get a necropsy done, if the snake is even dead, prior to freezing it.
Personally I believe that you won’t have a necropsy done for one of two reasons. 1. The snake was harmed by Anthony but still lives or 2. Anthony did something that caused the snake to die and the necropsy would show it.

Ashley,

You know what, just shut your mouth. You sound so incredible ignorant it is hard to believe a word you say. You are obviously one of those "people" that have to be right, no matter what.

There is actually a name for your problem, it has to do with having a "napoleon syndrome".

You will not be wrong, come hell, high water or pigs will take to the air.

You rather WOULD spend ALL your money then be wrong.

Scary that you are a teacher, no matter what kind. But I guess it makes it easier to teach special ed, since those kids can be manipulated easier and can't much complain to anyone.

NOT ONCE , not one single time have you adressed the questions that were asked of you. Who cares just how warped your mind about your $$$ and "social status" is...noone gives a flipping burger about that.

My parents had a saying about people like this. Mind you, its a "quote", so not "directly" directed at you...but mighty fitting.

A pig in furs and diamonds is still....a pig. All the money in THE WORLD is NOT going to buy you some manners or CLASS. So keep living in your dream world.

Rarely do I see people just as ignorant as you...!!
It doesn't matter just how "high" up on the ladder you climb, if its for the wrong reasons. I shudder for the children you teach. Do you have compassion or true feelings for them? Or are they a stepping stone on the way up , or to help you get your or your sons picture in the paper.

Why is it you can't answer some questions???

Is it to hard to COMPREHEND them??? Or is it more "fun" to go all into detail on your money and lifestyle instead?

Ok, here goes again, in case you "missed" it before...slooooooooow down, read carefully, and answer, pretty please?????

- the snake was sent with "live arrival" guarantee which is most common...so since the snake arrived live, what is your problem??

- the snake FED while in care of the other guy...yet you say it was sick from the get go? I know you said you don't know much about snakes, well you've been EDUCATED about that, yet you ignore this fact. So, lady, don't you THINK that something might just have happend to the snake while in the other guys care? A snake on its deathbed WILL NOT EAT...WILL NOT EAT, read this, IT WILL NOT EAT. It arrived live and healthy, ate just fine...and THEN died....hm, why don't you go EDUCATE yourself some more on all this...???

- first you get mad that a snake was sold to a minor, your son, then you are mad that the snake was sick, dead, or whatever, then you harp on the shipping method and blah blah blah...EVERYTHING and EVERYONES fault but the other guy or your sons. Do you realize how ignorant you sound????

- You say you will do anything and all, to get this to court and spare none of your $$$$$....yet you are to cheap to get the snake checked out....just exactly WHAT are you going to take to court to prove the snake was sick??? A snake-sicle and your pay stub?

- And, um, yeah a judge is gonna listen to you about how the bad bad man sold a snake to a minor.
NEVER MIND your son signed up on reptibid even though you have to be 18!!! in order to participate there....lets see..........just "WHO" broke the rules here????
Oh, but I see, your son is exempt from the rules...LOL, just like you and your amazing family. I can see the judge having a field day with you already. The question, how can you whine about your son being wronged, when it was your son that blatantly disregarded the rules???????????

You know, if you want to waste your $$$ to be laughed out of court, GO FOR IT...it will be great entertainment for some, if nothing else. You have obviously still not learned the true value of money, despite all your "grandeur"..

To throw it away in such a manner is nothing but "frivolous", I understand spending ones hard earned money on "toys" and vacations, but YOU, you have one twisted view on "money and power"...

Learn one lesson...

Money doesn't buy you class
Money doesn't buy you "common sense"
Money doesn't buy you "intelligence"
Money doesn't buy you friends
Money doesn't make you happy (though it don't hurt...lol)

As for your comment about not watching your son every minute and so on......
Um, just HOW can you say whether or not he does drugs or is involved in whatnot?
I'm not saying that he is by all means, its just that kids are VERY smart in tricking their parents, you wouldn't be the first parent not to quite know what they are up to...esp. since you are just so busy. You obviously didn't know about his dealing on reptibid (against the rules) and his online reptile purchasing...???

No, you didn't know until your son came crying to mommy to "fix things" and strong arm the seller, and you'll just be dammed to hell if you're not going to get your way.

Its actually quite sad. Ive seen people with this "power trip thing" before, like I said, there is a name for it...and its something else!

Just do yourself a favor and disappear quietly, if you can manage to get over yourself. You simply don't have a toe to stand on, not a chance whatsoever, why not take that money you gonna waste with your ignorance and send it to a good cause???

Remember one thing....what goes around, comes around.

That goes for the good and the bad, and Karma gets us all in the end.

Everything is in my humble opinion and may not be used in any way.

Oh, and please....finally DO adress some of the questions that have been asked again and again...for a lady of your caliber, it shouldn't be that hard to do...???

Im sure this has been mentioned.

But isnt $350 a small claims issue? Attorney cant be present in small claims suits. If this has already been mentioned ignore me. I read the first several pages and the "Lawyer Threats" reminded me of the small claims rule about not being able to have representation.

You all can either settle down and address the points ONLY concerning the deal with the primaries in this discussion as well as the snake involved, or this thread is going to be moved into the HELL forum to rot away there.

I don't care about anyone's social status, how much they make, where they go on vacations, what they do for a living, or their choice of TV star judge. Put a lid on it. None of those things implicitly makes a person right or wrong in an issue like this.

And Ashley, figure out how to activate your own account here and post as yourself, or stop posting completely. If you continue to do so, your actions will get Cameron's account suspended from this site. You registered via a hotmail account, there is an email in that account's inbox that needs to have a link clicked on to activate your account on this site. Cameron had to do this to register here, so if necessary, ask him for guidance. Otherwise do NOT post under his account again.

Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.
