He has not been sorry ONE BIT for what he has done to Scott. It is obvious that he, cam, is lying about several things. It's OBVIOUS.

It's also obvious by his demeanor and attitude that he has no heart. Never once has he mentioned that he was hurt by his snake dying. He didn't even go see it FOR SEVERAL DAYS after anthony got it.

Nope, just a YOUNG bad guy, but a bad guy none the less.

He may change as he grows up. He may not. For now he is on the DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH LIST.

Since we all seem to love scenarios so much, I think I will offer up another one. A child, roughly 17 years old walks into a liquor store. He walks up to the counter with a six-pack. The clerk believes him to be 21 and sells him the beer. As the child is getting into his car with his beer, a cop comes over. The cop asks, "How old are you?" and he tells the cop his real age. Would the clerk be in trouble for selling him the beer? Is it his fault? He assumed his age and did not check for an I.D. The clerk as we all know, would be punished.

The 17 year old forks over the money.....because the 21 year old had none.
the clerk hands it over to the 21 year old.
the 17 & 21 year old goes their separate ways.
the 21 year old gets into his car with the beer.
the 17 year old rides his bike home.

would the clerk get in trouble for accepting money from the 17 year old? who knows
he gave the beer to the 21 year old....then the two obviously went their separate ways.
The 21 year old is now responsible if he decides to give some beer to the 17 year old.

Also, I would like to address the Reptibid TOS from another angle. It states, "If you do not meet these requirements, you are not eligible to use these auction services." However, I did not use the auction services. I spoke with Scott via e-mail and bought it through that. Not once did I place a bid. Therefore, I did not use the "auction services".

I see you are only allowed to break TOS rules and laws if you benefit. But when it bites you in the @ss all of a sudden everyone is supposed to follow rules laws and TOS

She also wanted to make an agreement prior to the test being done. If the snake was sick Scott would refund the price plus our half of the costs for the test but if the tests goes in Scott favor she will send him back the money that he paid for his half of the test. She wants to do this so it is a binding agreement. Scott won't even respond to this. He must feel that he has something to lose if he does, like my $350 and Bruce's $100. I am glad we split the cost for things like a business does, you know right down the middle.

It is easy to sit here and judge people but put yourself in my position and take a new look at the situation. What would you expect to happen? Be honest it is easy to say

1. I lied about my age
2. I lied about having a partner.
3. Never told my mommy I went and bought the snake
4. I had the snake shipped to an adult.
5. That knowledgeable caregiver said my snake was fine.
6. It then died when I went to pick it up.
I would think the knowledgeable caregiver killed the d@mn thing.

This is current up through the middle of page 73. I put the questions in italics. I threw in a few quotes as I found them. Sorry I don't give much credit to the people who actually asked the questions. I've inserted a few BOLD answers given by the Gluhcheff account.

What day did the snake die?
The snake died on Saturday April 24th.
And how was "Anthony" keeping?
The cage was kept in his room and he stated it was kept at preferable temps with a Zoomed thermostat.
What temps was he keeping it at?

My question, what exactly where the temperatures... Preferable temps doesn't define the temp the animal was kept at. This is one question that I don't remember as being answered. Since I'm starting at the beginning of the thread, I'll say if I find the answer elsewhere.

What type of enclosure?
The enclosure was a 20 gal. long.
Did it have fresh water?
Yes, he had fresh water and the bowl was large enough to soak in.
Did he try to feed it?
Yes, he ate. He ate either Thursday or Friday. I will have to ask Anthony to be positive which day.
If so, what and did it eat?
He ate a small mouse.

These were some of the questions that were nicely answered clearly in the beginning of the EON that this thread has been going...

* You had it delivered to Anthony Vasquez on Tuesday because you were going to be at school. Why was it not picked up before Saturday?
* You say that the issue is not with your age, but rather with the snake dieing. Would your mom still have a problem with the purchase of the snake if it were still alive?
* Who is Bruce? How old is Bruce? Who is Anthony? How old is Anthony?

Yes, there were 19 emails between Scott and myself. This does not include any email between him and Cam! They were done through our personall accounts and not posted on a forum for everyone to see. They actually started on4/24/04 at 11:18 pm.

Cameron has a lot of animals. We live in a very large home and he keeps some of them- Snakes and geckos in his room. He lives on the other side of the house and has his own bed and bathroom so I do not have to see them on a daily basis (tha animals and not Cam). I have spoken to Anthony asking him to post. He has been reading this and refuses to post because he is afraid of everybody judging him without him getting a chance to tell his side of the story, mainly because nearly everybody here has already sided with Scott and Anthony is already being judged despite the fact that he hasn't posted once.

* Ashley, does Cameron have your permission to buy reptiles without your prior approval? If yes, then you need to drop the argument. If not, then this is a great natural consequence, isn't it?
* Ashley, When did you learn that he'd bought the snake?
* Have you yet realized that a sick boa will NOT!!!!! eat??? (and ate happily enough for Anthony)
* Have you yet realized that Anthony replied to Scott saying the boa arrived healthy and alive???
* Did you tell the reptile vet that the animal ate 2 days before it died? Did the reptile vet explain to you that diseased snakes near death DO NOT EAT?
* Did you register on Reptibid, thereby indicating that you were 18 years of age or older?
* Do you have permission to purchase snakes without your mother's prior knowledge or approval?
* When did your mother know that you had purchased this snake?
* Why did it take you so long to see the snake for yourself?

It isn't that great, but if you look close, it almost looks like he has a kink in his neck. Wonder whats up with that.

Now, anyone can plainly see that the snake has its body turned, and the "kink" is actually a twist, and not a medical problem.

However, lets say that the snake did have a kink, just for arguements sake. That picture was taken on 9/24/03. So even if it did have a kink(which it did not, as shown by the other picture posted by alvaro, and even the picture taken by cameron after the snake died) It lasted 7 months, and was still alive and healthy according to Anthony.If it had this pre-existing condition for so long and was still alive and kicking, I don't think that it would go from healthy to dead in 5 days, unless something was done wrong in the care given by the babysitter.

Terese, that one actually had me laughing out loud. It's soooooo true. Living out here I get to see LOTS of accidents, especially right after they happen. It is SIMPLY amazing how someone who was mad and making wild geticulations BEFORE the police and ambulance arrive is all of a sudden TOO sore to move and can barely talk once they, the police and ambulance, get there.

The best ones though are the fender benders where there is NO car damage and yet the drivers are holding their necks and either asking someone to call 911 r using their cell phones to do it themselves.

2. only state whre you may not sell to a minor even though he was surrounded by and was being directed by and was being helped by all these adults.
3. Only state where it is against the law to ship fed ex.

5. only state where the burden of proof does not fall on the plaintiff.

You really SHOULD read the rules posted about using the BOI. It's right up there at the top of this forum where it says Rules for Posting on the BOI. You can't miss it. Yellow highlighted and everything. Matter of fact, I believe you agreed to some rules when you registered with this site as well. Remember?

Anyway one of those rules plainly states that I do not delete information from this site that has been posted by someone else, as long as the rules are followed. That should have been crystal clear, and as unambiguous as it can be. As a general rule, I tend to ignore requests (which in your case appears to have been a DEMAND) that are asking me to disregard my own rules and violate the trust of the people posting here. Sorry, but just not going to happen. And btw, while you are reading the rules, spend some time reading about the Communications Decency Act of 1996 and the Digital Millenium Copyright Act. Not only do those federal laws protect me from liability stemming from what is posted by other people on this site, it also specifically does not allow me to EDIT other people's postings without then assuming the liability of what that other person has posted. With your talk of suing the other party, do you seriously think I am going to touch any of those posts? Hardly....

As as for me being responsible for anything happening to you, that sounds like simple paranoia to me. What in the world would anyone want to have to do with you and your family anyway? Certainly your threat is not anything that is enforceable in the United States of America, even in the Republic of Kalifornia, I presume.
