Discussing KS off Jeff's site
Here is my question concerning the right to discuss KS on another site and the replies. I had to press for an answer. I found the answer good but truthfully I am still skeptical. It's good enough for me to keep my KS classified account. If it's true that's all I need even though I think KS's recent bannings are out of line.
Original Repost containing KS's first answer which I considered too vague:

Here is the particular question I am looking for an answer too.
Parenthesis added to make the question clearer:
>>>>So if he/she said something negative about KS (on a different website) and KS took offense would KS search for a minor (or) unintentional violation (that ocurred in the past but was not considered offensive enough to ban the party or cancel their classified account at that time) and use that to ban the offender?
If you forwarded my question to the classified dept. I have not recieved a reply from them. Please answer, I don't see how this question could be considered inflamatory and can't understand why you haven't answered it.

:: ban a visitor or paying customer for something he/she said about KS on another website? If so how far does it go? What if he/she badmouthed KS at a show or herp meeting?
:I have no authority to speak on the issue of paying customers. Advertisers have their own TOS and contractual relationship with PetHobbyist and none of those things is handled by the Community Services Department. It is highly unlikely Jeff will address this issue with anyone except an advertiser, but I'll certainly pass your question on to him in case he cares to comment.
>>>Who is the party to ask, since I am an advertiser?
:As to regular users, I can't address what PetHobbyist has EVER done - the past is the past, I've only been here a few months, there have been policy changes during that time, so all I can do is adress TODAY.
>>>In your time here has this ever happened to your knowledge?
:If you don't violate the TOS on our site, then we do nothing.
>>>>Thank you for your answer.
:If someone were to violate the TOS on our site, and we were trying to decide whether or not it was serious enough to rescind their login privileges, it's possible we might look at statements made elsewhere if they were brought to our attention, but that would be highly unusual. And it would only be to give context to an action on our site, or to help move something out of the grey area.
>>>>So if he/she said something negative about KS and KS took offense would KS search for a minor unintentional violation and use that to ban the offender?
FYI I am not thinking of badmouthing KS and so far the only thing I have said about KS on another site is that we should still support KS because they are the most important place to inform and keep informed regarding herp related legislation.

I don't really have anything to add to that, but....

That was it. I thought you might find it informative, maybe it will be useful to have it in writing here where it won't be deleted should KS ever try to cancel anybodys classified account for something they say here. Thank you for reading.
