Your attempts to make light of the situation and your halfhearted attempts at trying to make everyone think you are "just kidding" are falling on an awful lot of deaf ears Ryan. John, you're right. Humor is taken in different context by everyone. I personally love "caustic" humor. The more "offensive", the better. Even being the extremely liberal person I am, who by the way isn't offended by ANYTHING in the world, can't find a single loophole for Wes and Johnny that suggests they are attempting to be humorous. They're ignorant personal attacks. Which I'd like to point out, I'm responding to with humor cause I really don't care what they think or have to say. It's meaningless. Jim, I'm a Jew (by blood, not religion, Agnostic/Atheist here). I lost plenty of distant relatives, whom I never met, in the Holocaust too. My great grandmother fled Russia during World War II to avoid the gas chamber so I'm exempt from being taken as serious or offensive. However if that simple remark brings you pain, I actually kind of half apologize cause I hate ignorant, racist morons and I would never want to be perceived as one, even by mistake. On the other hand, lighten up man. It was 60+ years ago, and it would be almost impossible for you to have ever met those relatives either. With laughter comes healing. Smile Jim.

One thing I want to mention, I noticed Lauren said that it would have been nice if the Hogg's neck problem was made available in the ad. You're right. I was at work when I reposted the ads on ReptiBid, ReptiMart and Venomousreptiles.org. I was starting the ad from scratch, in a hurry and just wanted to get the ad up without taking the time to explain all that. It was just a very basic description. I wrote it once and then copied and pasted it to the other 2 sites. But there are also multiple old ads on those same sites that are still available to be read that contain the info about her neck. If you'll notice, the most recent ad starts out by saying that I had changed my mind again and decided to try selling her again. Like a continuation to the other ads that I'm sure people are familiar with if they thought about it. Think about it. Those ads you see over and over again. You know the story behind the animals already and you're used to seeing them. It was nothing intentional and as Lauren said, I told her about her neck in the very first email response. Just wanted to clear that up and "own up" before someone developed a hard on for it (probably Viagra induced, I suspect that's why the usual suspects might be so edgy all the time ). That is simply wrong little boy. No one gets a free pass on Hitler and the Holocaust. Too sensitive a subject.

And before you go spouting history, check your facts. The vast bulk of Russian Jews never made it to Auschwitz/Treblinka or the other death camps. Those were reserved for West European and some Polish Jews. Those from the east were mostly rounded up, placed in front of ditches, and shot in the back.

See? It gives my age as 45. I'll do the math for you. WWII ended 14 or 15 years before my birth (depending on when I will turn 46 which you can find out if you like). These were people in my parents' and grandparents' generation. Maybe I would like to have had the chance to meet them. The fact that I did not does not lessen the fact that they were flesh and blood kin of mine. And how about the ones in my generation that never were born.

She has about a 1-2 inch section just behind her head that is incapable of being moved in a serpentine fashion. However, she eats great, is gorgeous, and will remain a pet in our house.

Most likely, she was mishandled when a baby (if I can guess, I'll say it was a "too firm" grip when trying to hold her by the head that resulted in injury), and the broken vertebrae in her neck fused as she grew. She has about a 1-2 inch section just behind her head that is incapable of being moved in a serpentine fashion. However, she eats great, is gorgeous, and will remain a pet in our house.

To begin, you are right, there are a lot of special needs animals out there that need homes. However, this is the second time that Ryan has failed to disclose the info in an ad. According to the original seller in the first instance, he never did disclose it's neurological problems to the end buyer. That particular animal was advertised as "100% healthy" That is a "bad guy" no matter how you slice it.

Terese, your understanding is cool with me. I am stopping. This has gotten stupid now and has nothing to with the original topic anymore. I'm just talking here like everyone else is and that's what happens when people talk. They agree, disagree, poke fun. No harm, no foul. That's part of the fun of being human. And that's also why I said I'm not responding to the Jew issue anymore. It became absurd very fast. But all started off of one word, one name. I find that kind of thing fascinating and it stimulates me. I can't remember exactly every single comment I just read, but as far as me going away in this hobby, NEVER gonna happen. I have been completely obsessed with reptiles, specifically snakes since I was less than 2 years old and saw "Raiders of the Lost Ark" (everyone know what I'm talking about?) I got my first snake when I was 5 and have had them ever since. That's 19 years in case you can't see my info. I'm now seeing my first success at breeding. I have 7 ball python eggs incubating right now that will hopefully contain 1 or 2 albinos. My boa collection is becoming amazing to me and I have group of hypo Southern Copperheads that are going to be a project for me to work with for years. Oh, and I also take impeccable care of my animals. I love this and I'm not going anywhere, no matter what 2 people think I'm a dick. As far as my "sales" going up because of publicity, let's get real here, I currently have 10 snakes and in the next few months, that will skyrocket to a whopping 19. Not that, "big sales" wouldn't be nice I guess, but that doesn't even apply to me. Anyway, that really doesn't have anything to do with anything but it's just a reply to one comment.
