~Now THAT was a shot! And a pretty low one. I know Allen fairly well and he has plenty to do but sadly he had to waste so much of his time defending himself when he was not in the wrong.
As far as having nothing better to do..you might want to rethink that one..... 29 Posts over a span of about 18 hours tells us you have no right to be throwing that potshot at Allen...or anyone else, for that matter.
~And I learned, the hard way, that if you don't report a problem to PayPal as soon as you suspect it, you end up on the short end of the deal. I arranged to purchase a reptarium last year and sent the money via PayPal. I never received the item, could not get ahold of the seller and when I tried to get a refund from PayPal, the seller no longer had an account and had just "disappeared". At that time, the rules were a little different and there was no insurance.
~If Jimmy is young and still learning , as you have REPEATEDLY stated. then he has {hopefully}learned a valuable lesson today. Something like....
1. Present your animals honestly and do not advertise animals for sale if you are not prepared to ship.
a. If there IS a problem, keep an open and
HONEST line of communication with the buyer. Most buyers are very understanding if you are up front with them.
2. If you are involved in anything underhanded, be prepared to have it exposed on this forum!
3. If you are not old or mature enough to take the heat, then you should not be attmepting to do business.
4. Be very careful what you say and how you say it! Your words may very well turn and bite you in the butt.
5. and lastly, ...Fight your own battles! It shows maturity and good ethics.
~I sort of feel bad for Jimmy, the foundation that has been put down for him is not pretty. What sort of lessons has he learned now? Looking back over his "advocate's" posts, I, too, think he would have been better off on his own merits. He hardly stands a chance now. Especially since none of us can tell the players without a program!!
