Ummmm
I do know that it is a posible violation of federal law to use USPS shipping boxes for any other shipping purpose than for USPS. It is actually stated in "Terms of Use" at USPS.com......I am surprised ( to be honest more than surprised actually ) That Fedex would allow this. Something isnt right here, Hopefuly it is something easy for someone to explain and it really will boil down to meaning nothing. I will say however that all this dead horse kicking is getting a little ridiculous, I was recently sent 2 corn snakes ( I will soon post a good guy report about it ) The thing is, I knew what day they were coming, I made sure to be here from 8 am untill they arrived. Plain and simple that was what needed to be done on my part. I do not think, ( please read that again, THINK ) it would have made a differance, But noone can say for certain if they were dead at 848 am. IF Ken had recieved them at 848 and they were dead than that would be that, and IF they had been shipped correctly and recieved late than the finger would be pointed at Ken for not getting them. (Unless of course other things came out to show they were sick or something) But those are all what IF's......They both share some responsibility here, not because it was Bobby's "rules" but because both sides did things wrong, some small some big. I however do not think it is a 50/50 deal. If Ken offered anything to Bobby in the 25% range in MY opinion that is the extent of his responsibilty in this matter. If I missed it I apologize, but Ken, what did you offer him if you would tell us please, and could someone please tell us the deal with the box?
P.S. I am willing to bet Ken rarely misses deliveries of this nature. Whether it was marked or not Ken knew it was coming, A mistake was made by missing it, but that was Ken's mistake nonetheless. It is easy to say if it was marked right they would have called, well what if his phone died? What if he was in the bathroom? Once again we would be getting into the "what if" war. If we stick to the facts it will go much easier. If Ken made Bobby an offer in the range of 25% and Bobby refused, than I would say that would be the extent of Ken's obligation. I would also like to say once again that I do believe that this was a mistake on Ken's part, and a rare one at that. I would deal with Ken anytime. His demeanor through this has told me he is a GOOD GUY. Thank you.
