What are the dates of the emails in relation to the delivery of the snakes.

Well there definitely is an inconsistency here.

If those females were "proven", then I believe to most people that would mean that they laid eggs. However, saying that one of the females was difficult to sex tends to dispute that one as being "proven".

It is not at all difficult to accurately determine the sex of a snake that lays eggs. As a matter of fact, of all the ways I know of to attempt to determine the sex of a snake, THIS way is the most accurate way of determining a female.

So either one female was "proven", or it was hard to sex. It can't be both.

Scott, I sent the oringal email about 3-4 weeks after, I received the reply 5 days later.

Stardust, lots of people have seen them (mostly local kids), I dont think anyone else has probed them. Robbie Keszey never asked for proof or anyone else's opinions.

The other emails are just me ordering the snakes, and requesting an invoice. If you want to post them I will email them all to you and you can put it in the order they arrived.

Robbie isnt disputing the fact that he sent me a mis-sexed snake, nor the fact that he said he would replace it. I think he either needs to come dispute it here, or just follow his word and send me aother female.

In the email corey posted Kez states

While previously Corey said

If he had proven the 2.2, then why did he need to sex them?
If he had proven the 2.2, then why did he not simply say "You're lying, I got eggs from them" and forget about it.
Why did he even offer to replace the animal in the first place if he had indeed proven them?

Post the email where he states he proved them himself, and the evidence for the inconsistency will be complete.
Like Rich said, he either got eggs from them and knew the sex, or he had trouble probing one of the females because he didn't know the sex, it cannot be both.
I for one don't probe a snake that has laid eggs just to verify it's a female.

Stardust, No i dont have the ad, I dont have anything from then but emails. I didnt see a reason to save them, he promised to replace the male with a female and I trusted him. I saw Robbie on the BOI user list tonight, I figure he is reading but not posting.

Rich, The ad said proven, he told me he proved them on the phone, he told me he had trouble sexing the female (after I complained). Would need to ask him why he was inconsistant.

Clay, most of our later convserations were over the phone. There are no emails that say he proved them. That email was the last thing he sent me, it was sent after he had told me they were proven.

From this statement alone it is obvious that at least one of the "females" was never proven (e.g. laid eggs). That statement alone calls for immediate sexing of all the snakes upon arrival.

Yes it does, but the way I understand it this comment wasn't made until after Corey had informed him that one of the "proven females" was in fact a male, and not before Corey had received them. As it was, Corey was going on the statement that the two females were "proven" which, as Rich Z points out, should eliminate the need to probe them.

If in fact Robbie is lurking and not responding it casts a serious doubt in my mind as to his credibility. It could be that he is gathering information in order to state his case in an effivient manner and he is waiting for Corey to add more fuel to the fire before he make his attempt at clearing this up. Either way, the longer he waits the worse he looks.

As for one or two people sticking up for someone (or one or two people bashing someone for that matter) It can happen that a person has hundreds of good deals and one bad one and as been pointed out before in this and other forums, it is not neccessarily the mistake its how you take care of it that tells the true picture. Similarily, it is possible for a person who is a scammer and a crook to have one or two good deals if for no other reason than to have someone on his side in the event he gets caught. It makes sense if you think about it. Do a few great deals with a few people, get to know them, bend over backwards to help them out, then when they come to your defense after you screw some small timer over one or two snakes these people will come foreward shouting your praises and hopefully the small timer will crawl back to his corner, defeated, and doubting the effectiveness of this and similar forums, making it that much easier for you to claim your next victim. In fact if you were real smart you would actually do GOOD DEALS with more people than you are trying to rip off unless you are very ambitious and want to go through the stuff that people like Jesse U pull and change your identity more often than you change your underwear.

I AM NOT SAYING THAT IS THE CASE HERE. JUST POINTING OUT THE POSSIBILITY.

I totally agree. That is why I have been trying to get someone to post any proof. Anything at all that would sway me from from neutral to either good guy or bad guy thread.
I do not know squat about snakes, but if you had a few of them wouldn't your probe anyway before sending them out to make sure? Would it have anything to do with them being proven or not or just making sure if you had more than one pair?
Really dont know just asking.
And without the original ad it really is he said he said.
Thus far I have not seen the word proven.

Without any proof or documentation for your claims, you have not provided one fact in this 10+ page discussion.

You have posted opinions though which are defined as:

Well.. that is just your opinion. His silence does not mean you are right. You talk about your opinions as if they were facts.

I think maybe you should take some time and think about your posts before sending them. Please send over facts (that can be verified) about this situation or its not going to be taken seriously.

I know that it had nothing even remotely related to this conversation so even bringing them up is childish and immature. If anything, it shows more the character of you and lowers your credibility. There are numorous threads here in which you have to "consult" your lawyer before responding.. or do you use back handed shady ways of even going about the most basic of tasks. Honestly, I am tired of watching you post on here and in other forums/rooms with this attitude that you can use shady actions but seem to think you are immune from recourse following it.

It is not up to me to defend Robbie. You seem to have been very offended by me posting my experiences on here last night. All I had done was ask for verifiable proof, none has been given. Why does that bother you so much?

I have taken Robbie up on his offer that he put at the end of his post asking that if anyone wanted to speak with him about this to call him. He took the time (while outside herping at 11pm for frogs) to tell me his side of the story. If this is going to be a he said -vs- he said debate.. I wanted to hear the other side of it. HIs side has no holes in it.

I have only been on the BOI for a short time, I have learned a lot. Some of the things A couple I have personally learned is that you don't just take up sides on hearsay, it might just bite you in the butt at a later date. That there are two sides to every story.
Keeping those two things very close in mind, I too called Robbie, I talke with him and Michelle and recieved their side. They were very nice about it and I now understand the delay in writing here on the BOI.
I still am going to stay neutral and had told them so, no problems there, even encouragement to do so.
I am not going to defend them either, it is not my place number one and number two, I have yet to see anything to contradict the he said/ he said theory.
Unless there is something concrete, I can not say they are bad guys and will not.
I will stay neutral until I SEE differently.
Sorry Corey, the facts that you have stated are facts in your mind.
Give me something to go on, some proof, not a record of misdemeanors that has nothing to do with this.
Give me something solid.
