He might have bought the animal that was represented but he sure as heck didn't receive anything even close to what it was supposed to look like.
I know Kimberly Lucas well. She is a first class breeder, business person and human being. She has impeccable character. The purchaser read her TOS and purchased the gecko. He got the animal represented. Even with all of that the gentlemen decided he was unsatisfied. Kimberly offered compromise and remedy. He declined. Now he wants to slander her name. That is unfortunate; and shameful. She works hard every day to support her family. She should not have to suffer the public drama and unwarranted accusations she now has to deal with here on this forum. Her animals, her reputation for fair dealings and customer service, along with her high level of personal integrity speak volumes about the true Kimberly Lucas. Please cease and desist. Thank you.

Umm the remedy offered is nowhere near enough to make it right, and I believe just about everyone but her (and you now) can see that. I have always wondered why people think an in store credit to an unhappy customer is the best route to go. Why would someone who was unhappy want to busy something else from you?Kimberly offered compromise and remedy. He declined. Now he wants to slander her name.
That is why I think the in store credit is a weak offering as a resolution. Easily could have been avoided several times over. She should not have to suffer the public drama
Why would someone with a valid complaint cease and desist anything? If you were the buyer and felt the way the Op does would you stop perusing a refund? I mean really, get real. Please cease and desist.

Also, Kimberly has been a long time vendor at my shows, and we have never had a complaint about her, or her animals. The OP, came at her with a vengence IMHO. and likewise, she responded as such, after all, the OP called her a liar, among other things.Hello... I made an offer. $150 credit (more geckos) He was willing to take $150 cash and keep the gecko so I really don't see how $150 of geckos is such an insult. I think he just wants to be a jerk.
I would have been open to further converstaion but it's been over a month and this was how I was contacted. A link to this thread.
You have an unhappy customer. He is not a customer that had buyer's remorse, he bought a gecko for top dollar based on your pictures, and the fact that they would be representitive of the gecko when he received it. The gecko looks nothing like the one in the pictures you took, where it looked white. In the buyer's pictures, it looks like an olive drab gecko worth about $25. I would subtract shipping both ways, and send him the rest as a refund and get your gecko back. Quarantine it, and resell it if it is as nice as you say it is.

He originally wanted $150 cash and would send the gecko back at his expense (which by the way is like getting a refund of $100 when all is said and done.) And in the end you still make money and appeased the customer AND get the gecko back, that seems like a win, win, win to me.
I have to agree with Andrew and Randal. I know Kim to be very fair and upstanding. I have purchased quite a few geckos from her. Everything has been represented properly and the geckos perfect. I was pretty shocked to see a thread on the BOI about her.
To be in business as long as she has and to avoid a BOI thread has to say something. Right ? She has handled herself pretty well as far as the gecko business goes. I understand the "when something goes wrong theory" but how does anyone know all the bad situations were handled well and never made it here. Peoples positive experiences are relevant to her character just as all them input from the OP and others.
Just my .02
Everyone has the right to share their opinion and their experience with her. I won't argue with that. But I'll say this from the perspective of someone who doesn't know her at all. The weight of your opinion/experience (and others like it) is next to nothing compared to the weight of her own words and attitude toward her current customer. YOU can give more weight to her reputation....but she has no reputation with me, and many others like me.....and first impressions are coming off rather poorly so far.
Just sayin'....
Word up.Ummm...no. Someone else seemed to have this impression as well, but I don't remember which post it was. The buyer wanted to send the gecko back for a FULL refund (minus shipping).....OR....he was willing to accept $150 returned to him and he'd keep the gecko.

I offered to ship the gecko back to her at my own expense to get a refund and she refused. i even said i would accept a refund of $150, which is one third of what i paid, and she refused.
While i have nothing but respect and gratitude for your work towards bettering the reptiles industry's legal freedom i find your post in bad taste. the animals the OP received clearly is not as advertised yet you defend the seller , that part is fine but was it necessary to post your position in usark?? the buyer did accept the TOS of the seller and would abide by it had he received as advertise .I know Kimberly Lucas well. I mean no disrespect towards you in anyway but this is just my opinion.A TOS is fine and all as long as the buyer receives what he bought.would be like ordering a Bright red bearded dragon and receiving a drab grey animal in the mail and the seller expecting you to swallow such act, even offering credit towards future purchases seems insulting since one did not receive what they wanted in the original deal.Seems bait and switch like to me .
