    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I was only asking for the correct info about necropsy, I was not trying to "hijack" anything!

It was brought up here, hence my question here. I have a right to ask questions and post on topics just as much as anyone else.
 
Please guys keep this on track, I don't want this thread being moved. Wendy, your questions are valid but could easily be asked in a more appropriate place and probably get more views therefor better responses in a different area. Thanks

Mike B why are you saying things like this its unnecessary and you dont even know him well enough to determine whether he knows about parasites or not, saying things like this isnt helping the situation watsoever. I dont know if your just trying to piss off Mike F, but i suggest you knock it off because it means nothing till the necropsy is done, then you can make your childish remarks.

Eric, What is wrong with what I wrote? Is his guess educated? Is he not a 15 year old? How much experience can a 15 year old have, how much schooling? I say that as what else has Mike F brought to the table but admitted lies? Why do you continue to defend him? And I DO know Mike well enough to say that, we have spoke for years and I have a good idea of what he does and doesn't know. What are his explaination for saying they have parasites and does he have ANY? Eric you don't seem to mind him making these accusations to someone whom has proven himself to be a honest dealer time and time, with nothing to back it up, but you try to condem me for pointing it out and righting it and protecting my good name? Eric you should pick and chose your friends wisely as whom you are associated with can rub off.
 
Probably time to let this thread die. The original parties to the problem know what needs to be done. I see nothing positive or productive happening on this thread in the future.

I can already see MikeB replying to this "Well then, name a parasite that is specific to reptiles." Also, kind of irrelevant why you'd mention my age when saying I don't know parasites. And you're saying my age doesn't effect anything you say? BS.
So, I may have jumped to conclusions assuming that there was parasites as the leading cause of death... But, I have seen parasitic effects in Balls, when I recieved the 2 WC Balls from Cathy. They were shipped USPS ground by the way, and the vet diagnosed them with things that couldn't have been caused in the 2 days spent in my house.
Anyways, Danni about the vet I'm just telling you what I heard. Should the necropsy show something serious I will be taking the 2-3hr trip to a herp vet in the Boston area, New York area, or Connecticut area if need be.
That is why I still buy reptiles Davey, because should the immediate need arise for a vet trip, in a serious situation I'd be taking the trip. At any rate, the pet store I work at has a supplier very experianced with reptile sickness, and can diagnose the basic things, and supply me medication. As what happened when I had the electrical failure with my old housing units and had to treat severe respiratory infections. Clavamox I think was the name of the medicine he gave me. It was oral, pills to be placed in the mouth. Worked like a charm, and within 4 days all the snakes had clear, fluid free mouths.
And MikeB, I think the insulting was rather irrelevant. A simple, "proof is needed for me to believe there is even a chance of parasites". Also, if you sent me an email, it was to my email addy I use on the weekends only, which is why it hasn't been read. I wasn't aware of it until now as a matter of fact.
Also, like I told you earlier, I have just gotten a new comp, and I need to install all the programs. You will get pics, keep your pants on. I don't expect, nor do I even want a refund so the necropsy is my #1 priority at this point, just to prevent anything in my collection.
Also MikeB, I can care for corn snakes. I successfully had a pair mate, which resulted in 5 beautiful corn hatchlings, all of which to my knowledge are still doing great with their owners.
 
Mike (Tai pan) I agree. I would like to apologize to everyone including Mike F. for me getting a bit flustered with this. I got a little caried away and was posting more than just the facts which are what is only needed here. I just wish this to work out the best it can for all concerned. We will wait for the necropsy and that will be that. I have been talking to Mike F ( after his and my last post lol). and we will work this out to where all concerned feel a certain amount of fairness has been reached.
 
I think MikeB summed it up perfectly.
We are talking, and I am setting up the meeting with Seamus to get him the animals for necropsy. I do believe this will all be resolved.
I would also like to apologize to the ones effected by my dishonesty for which I am sincerely sorry. After this is all said and done, I think this will be a positive experiance for me, by showing me the effect of telling a lie. This has gotten me onto the right track, and I honestly believe I will not be leaving it.
The biggest apology to MikeB, for causing this entire mess.
We will have to wait for the result of the Necropsy, and I'm sure that something which suits everyone will be worked out. I am more than willing to not recieve a refund, if that's what the necropsy shows.
I think, if there is a problem, that was not caused by me it certainly cannot be traced to MikeB directly, as siblings are all doing fine, If the cause of death is proven to be not caused by me, and isn't tracable to MikeB, then I won't take a refund.
Heh, I don't think there will be any refunding, because from all I've read I believe that it can't be directly MikeB's fault. Again, I'd like to apologize to everyone, especially Mike Beberman, who has proven to be a respectable and honest dealer.

I think 2 deaths and a third dying snake are pretty serious. What constitutes a serious situation to you? Does the snake have to be bleeding?
Did the supplier of the store you work out help you out in treating these corns?

Actually Davey, he told me he had no idea what may be the problem.
I also contacted vets trying to get an appointment, but none would take me in my area. Also, my dad couldn't get the time to bring me to the vet in boston, not for another week and a half. My mom sure as hell wouldn't bring me that way.

Nice ending? 3 snakes have lost their lives do to abuse in the form of neglect, how is that nice?
You can say the snakes had perfect husbandry and everything was perfect for housing corns, but even if it was, it doesn't change the fact that dying snakes were allowed to die with no effort by the keeper. We put these animals in the cages, it is our duty to see that any and all of their needs are met. I recently had a boa die do to faulty flexwatt, and my lack of supervision. Since then I have replaced every heating element I own, and bought all new thermostats. I can't afford that, but I did it because I am the one keeping them captive. It is MY job. Does it bring back the female? No, but I guarantee I will sleep better at night knowing I did what I could to preserve the lives of my other snakes. SHould something come up and they need medical attention I am responsible for getting them the care they need.THey aren't toys, or video games. Tey are living beings.
That is the sad part of this thread. Even after it is all figured out what cause the illness, the blood is still on MIke F's hands. He didn't try to go to a vet. We know that because he mentions what they said when he took the balls in.He didn't even call, just went off of what he was told before.

Hell, Mike F. checked this thread before he even checked on his sick snake.He then only checked mid-post just to let us all know he let another died without helping.

That is what isn't sitting well with me.

I called the place where I previously took my Balls, and that particular vet wasn't even there anymore. Am I supposed to track down his home address? I checked mid post, as I had checked on it before in the day, wasn't like the post made me decide to go look at the thing. You don't think I feel bad about having snakes die under my care? You think I did absolutely nothing to help these? You can kiss off, because I didn't just sit back and let them die.
Oh, but you are the big hero. You replaced everything, and brag about how you'd do anything. I don't really give a crap what you say anymore. You haven't contributed helpfully here, just stirred the pot.
All you are doing is starting a flame war, where one didn't need be. Mike, Seamus and I have been resolving this ourselves. You aren't even involved in this, you have nothing left to add to this thread.
 
Is this supposed to make me feel bad? And one thing i find quite humorous about what you just posted is that you were calling mike f a pity party but your over here telling us your story about how your boa died. One thing you have to understand their lives have already ended nothing can be done anymore, he made a mistake and so did you you had crappy thermostats. We all make mistakes thats how we learn and next time mike f will know what to do, and yes i know its too bad that an animals life had ended so he could learn, but thats life.

You don't get it. You don't have to reply to my posts, really. However, when you do, it makes me feel as though you don't understand what I am saying, so I will repeat it. If you don't reply maybe I would just go away.
This started out about what Mike B. should do. At that point there was still a snake alive. Before that there were 2. Something should have been done if not after the first one died, then as soon as the second started fading.
I don't need a pity party. I feel I have done what I can do to remedy the situation I had, and without any more snakes dying.
Nothing can be done about the dead snakes now, I understand that. However something could have been done prior to the death(s).
If one cannot provide the care the animals that they are keeping require (to include veterinary care) then they really don't have any business keeping them. That is my point. Nothing more.
Mike. If you called the place, why didn't you say that before? In your post about why you didn't go to the vet before you only mentioned what the vets had said when you took your balls in, and how you got the run around. You didn't say anything about getting the run around again until confronted with questions.
If you called, and couldn't get into the vet with the corns, why even mention the ball vet incident? You said yourself that the vet treated the balls, why wouldn't the treat the corns?
Also, Eric, As for your PM, you don't need to contact me privately to express your irritation with my opinions. I wont be responding to that.If you have an opinion, share it here. I will do the same.
 
As Mike F has said in one of his previous posts when he tried to contact the vet they had moved. Davey, im not like you i dont try to turn the thread into a flame war as you have attempted many times thats why they have the Private messaging, as to not hijack a thread and turn it into a pointless rambling area that eventually gets sent to HELL.
