    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Pet store robbery and Daytona show

It looks like not very many people are interested in helping out with the Lie Detection test. I asked here if there was anybody willing to help financially and we are up to a whopping grand total of $85.
I suppose it was to be expected since so many people are just completely fed up with this whole affair.
Also, I will not even be able to spend anymore time with this  until I come back from Mexico the week after next.
Some of the posts here do need to be removed though, with all their name calling and such.
 
I for one could care less about the results of a lie detector test. Both Neil and Dave have done enough to sully their reputations all on their own. At this point I don't really think it matters who did what anymore. Just the manner in which they have presented themselves here is more than enough, in my mind, to stay clear. And isn't that the point of the BOI, to point out people you shouldn't do business with. I think that's been more than accomplished.  So for the love of god let it die. Short of a confession by one of the involved parties, or a conviction in a court of law, no one is going to prove ANYTHING on this forum. So, unless you don't have a life and this is how you get your jollies, let it go.

And you're surprised by that?  The last time everyone gave money for something related to pet store thieves in Tampa most of the money donated was stolen, nobody ever saw the results of the PI report and nothing happened to resolve the problem.  Now you want people to donate more of their hard earned cash to these two clowns private war?  Sorry, it aint going to happen.

First of all, I am not the same person as appalled...As you have read, I am her daughter. Do you have poor comprehension Dave? I don't see a threat to the Daytona  show in Peg's closing statement. I do volunteer at Peg's and saw for myself how devastated Peg and Lill were. Like I have stated previously, I do not think that two robberies that occur the same week two years in a row is a coincidence. You are avoiding the whole subject, you now started people spreading rumors and badmouthing Peg and Lill. Peg wrote in once, and she stated her opinion in a very civilized manner. How come you can't do the same? I am 14 years old and I have seen kids talk more civilized than you. Just remember Dave, the more you drag on about nothing, the more followers you lose. Peg is a great lady and store owner and she has handled this better than anyone I know. You just go on writing and making things up.

And what children read the BOI? (14 is a kid, not a child, and if she's never heard of dope before that's not Neil's problem.) When I was 14 I was out trying to get laid, not reading the better business forum... I figure if they're smart enough to hang here they might be smart enough to NOT conclude that Neil smoking herb once in a while = good idea for them to start smoking pot.

Do you think Neil's comment is going to entice some innocent young soul over to the dark side?

Neil, the problem that you brought to my attention seems to be fixed. I'm starting to get the hang of moderating, so bear with me. I can honestly say now that I've developed a newfound respect for Rich and the job that he does here.

Loren, I'll take that under advisement, but have no plans to close this thread again. True, many people may be tired of this exchange, but they have the option of not reading it. The WebSlave has stated why he believes this thread should be allowed to go on, and it is a rationale that I agree with.

As for the replies that I deleted last night, the reason that they were deleted was they lacked a full name at that time. This thread is rather heated, and some serious accusations are being made. As such, I won't be allowing anonymous posts to remain in this thread for any period of time.

Okay Casey, so what if Neil has smoked herb in the past or smokes it now (that might have something to do with his memory on some things), but Neil's animals and customer service is what is BEST about Neil! There might be some things that he posts on here that not everyone likes, but I thinks his animals and the way he treats his customers are what matters. I think Neil is good for the herp industry, and wish that all of the robberies down there would end!

Dave, you need to quit posting. Everytime you do you make yourself look worse!

Rick. I was one of Neils customers last year.
  I do not think that someone who is trying to be an example of what is "good" and "upstanding" about this industry, should come on this forum and talk about breaking ANY laws at all. I do not care what Neil does. But maybe he was talking about Herbal Essence.
 I think that we all wish the robberies would end. I do not know what the crime rate is in Tampa, but I can not imagine it only strikes pet shops.
I agree with you, it is important how he treats his customers and the condition of his animals, but that is another story.

The way Neil treats his customers is what keeps the GOOd ones in business!!  All this other BS is just some of the things Neil gets in because of robberies there.  He has his right to defend himself however he wants

He has some good questions that Dave can not answer.

Show me a bad guy post on him as far as his animals, or service??

That to me is what the BOI is all about!

For the rest of you, you can go on saying whatever you want about anything you want. So what if I am 14 years old!? It's not like I haven't heard anything before...all of the stuff you say will not affect me in any way, shape, or form. So just say what you want to say.
