    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Repti racks

on a side note reptiracks we both agreed and when spoken to you on the phone that when i sold it to him i needed a tracking number for my paypal account for my security

please don't deny this as we spoke about it being safe on both of our ends,so i would like a tracking number to input under nicks payment from paypal.
 
you do know if it was fraudulent right it would have been paypal disputed a long time ago my friend,it has been months and 0 charge backs to repti racks

but ill be dammed to see a company get paid 313.00 when there is no proof that nothing got built or shipped,

How can you get proof if NICK hasnt contact us as stated. Your just not getting it. But you dont have to worry about it as its taken care of even though your not the cage owner and to Zoopets I WAS TOLD BY PAYPAL to not refund anything as he is not the cage owner and i have proof he isnt.

Repti-Racks: I re-read your first post and I have to say that you are 100% in the wrong here....Let me break it down for you in "simple" terms...

1. He bought the cage and waited a long time for it..
2. He got tired of waiting and decided to get something else.
3. So as to not be out a load of cash, he took a loss and sold the repti-racks cage to someone else to recoup some of his expense.
4. He explains this to you numerous times.
5. You use his explanation against him in order to seemingly refuse shipment.
6. The OP is understandably frustrated because you have his money and his customer is probably getting pissed too.

Bottom line: The OP originally purchased the cage from YOU....YOU should send the cage wherever he wants it because HE purchased it and he's correct, if it were fraudulent it would have been noticed quite some time ago.

My apologies for not thoroughly reading the initial post before commenting.....But, Repti-Racks is looking very suspect in this case which is only compounded by the numerous other bad posts out there about them. My recommendation is to contact your bank that the paypal drafted from and dispute the transaction. They are not authorized to turn you away due to time-frame like paypal can. Best of all, Repti-Racks has to prove that they send you the item...Scandalous business practices.....Also, glad to see you bought a Critter Condoz....They're awesome....sorry repti-racks is screwing you over but it's a pretty big club you belong too now.
 
like i said contact chris allen i bought a condo off him with 0 issues and going to buy another one from him unlike you they did not make me wait MONTHS for a product that i paid for.

and then people say yes i sold it then it's my loss

WELL GUESS WHAT i had a bearded dragon that needed a viv asap which when i spoke to repti racks he told me it would be done in 4 weeks via phone,it was not and i was not trying to shell out 195 out of my pocket for a new viv so my last resort was to sell it for w.e i can.
 
ALSO id like to warn everyone don't do business with repti racks via paypal they claim it takes weeks for your product to be shipped

GUESS WHAT AFTER 45 days u can't file a claim so be very careful about paying this company and going over 45 days

if u don't get your product in 42 days or so file a claim asap!

Repti-Racks, your logic on why he isnt the owner anymore is ridiculous....If I sold a cage to a customer and for whatever reason it took too long to get out to him and he decides to buy a Repti-Racks cage instead, it's his business to do whatever he wants with the cage I sold him. I'm still obligated to complete my portion of the deal and send him his cage....even if he wants it to go to destination "B" vice destination "A". As long as the shipping is the same, I dont care because it's HIS cage. You sold the cage, he sold the cage....move on.

You must have missed the part where the OP sold the cage to someone else, therefore, he is not entitled to a refund on a product he no longer owns.

Are you trying to say that even though he sold it to someone else he has a right as to what happens to it?

Was there a contract he signed with Nick saying he has a say it what happens to that rack? No.

Nick purchased the cage from the OP before the OP even received it. If anything, the OP is the one that looks suspect.

The OP's primary complaint included a solution of him getting the cage, refunding Nick and reselling it for more money. That is a poor business practice in and of itself.

Repti-Racks has no responsibility to let the OP know anything about the transaction anymore seeing as how he passed it off to someone else. The transaction is now between Nick and Repti-Racks. Without being able to get ahold of Nick, Repti-Racks has a right to hold onto the rack for shipment as that is the safe and responsible thing to do. As I said before, someone would have to be liable if the rack was delivered to an address someone was not at and it was then subsequently damaged or stolen. Since this would not fall on the OP, Repti-Racks chose the responsible thing and to wait until they gained confirmation of the address.

When you order caging, you are given "lead times" by everyone and everyone tells you that these times can vary. While I disagree with Repti-Racks not raising their lead times when they have had numerous issues on fulfilling their estimated lead times, you still agree to the fact it could be sooner or later. The OP knew this.

The OP is in the wrong for selling a rack he never had possession of and then thinking he still had some claim to it.
 
and what you fail to understand is me and reptiracks had a understand that both of us will keep contact on the cage with nick which he is now turning his back on

he also told me diff lead times over the phone than the website

and no i was not going to take it and re sell it for me

i would sell it back for 120 and refund nick no one would pay 313 or close to that for his caging when there is critter condos out there for half the cost
 
wow dude you just don't get it NICK the owner is baffled how you wanted to do all those things such us ship you his cage,sell his cage and refund him his money and now want a tracking # all with out his conscent. Nick who i spoke to today dont want you to have any further info about him and his cage.

if i don't get proof of shipping to nicks confirmed address as we agreed on ill be contacting my bank and neither nick will get his cage or u will get your money and we will all be in this mess plain and simple
 
This matter is closed and taken care of by us repti-racks and nick smith owner of cage as of today oddly enough.
 
like i said repti racks learn do do business better next time with your customers please.

are you crazy? he still owes the cage he got paid for.....you mean to tell me that for all the pet stores out there that purchase animals for people (special order) are no longer entitled to receive the product because they are no longer the rightfull owner of the animal....that is absolutely ridiculous....Zero logic behind that though process. And to even bring up a contract being drafted is absurd also....Why is it that some people insist on making things more complicated than they have to....A contract! That is the most impractical thing I've heard in quite a while.....Guess I'll go buy a bearded dragon from Petsmart and have a contract signed to ensure that the wholesaler will send it directly to me vice Petsmart.......C'mon, lets not check common sense at the door when logging on to Fauna.....I doubt many of you are business owners with logic like that.

OP: This is what you get when posting a comment on fauna, you get the fan-club of someone chiming in without any logic. While I admit that everyone is entitled to their opinion but common sense shouldnt be left out of it.
 
from this point seeing as nick contacted him all i want is the tracking number and pics that the cage is built

have pics or is it delayed for another 2 months?

There's this nifty little red "X" on the top right of your browser, pretty easy to hit.

Your logic is flawed. Buying something wholesale for a pet store with the intention of reselling it is not the same as buying a rack, getting impatient with how long it is taking, and then selling said rack to someone else before you get it.

Also, just because ... you do sign a contract when buying a Bearded Dragon, or any animal, from PetSmart. The contract states you promise to care for the animal for its lifetime and not just dump it when you get tired of it or fail to provide medical treatment. Of course, most people break this contract, but it is a contract they have you sign.

Also, I am not a fan club to Repti-Racks. I do not have a desire to own their product nor do I appreciate their lack of proper "lead times", but I will call the OP out for being an unreasonable individual because he is being one.

He sold the rack to someone else. It is no longer his concern. Nick and Repti-Racks had communicated that Nick now owned the rack and it was to go to him. If you fail to see that, I can see how far you will not go in the industry.
 
You're probably right....Repti-Racks has a lengthy list of complaints...The cages are decent and from what I've read, people always get them though certainly not in the time-frame in which they expected.....Gotta love the term "Lead-Time"....Such a misleading device to excuse SLOW production, SLOW shipment, FAST payment....It's just simply suspect....Good luck with your transaction and we'll see if Mr. Nick actually gets the item which I doubt very much he will but I could be wrong and it wouldnt be the first time (thats my setup for the others to start bashing me because thats what happens on these posts more often than not).
