Who paid for the cage?? Thats who should get it no matter what Repti-rack thinks.Send the paid for cage to whoever paid for it.
I personally will not buy from Repti racks since seeing all the bad post lately.

i paid for it 313.00 out of my paypal

then nick paid ME 120.00 for the cage

since july to now neither of us has got the cage.

Almando,If you paid $ to Reti racks,they should be sending the cage to you!It should not matter who paid you for the cage after that,right? It sounds as if Repti-rack is trying to pocket the $$. What if Nick died over seas(hope not Nick)(my son is an active Marine) for our country,your gonna keep the $ because Almando said he sold it to another person?
Repti-rack,send the cage to the payer,whats so hard about that?If Almando gave you $313 for a cage and then tells you he sold it,that has nothing to do with you.Am i wrong?
Give the man the cage he paid for.Very simple to solve this.
Your already losing customers with the VERY LONG time shipping.12 weeks is no where near 5.

allreptiles: Thanks for the support, I unsubscribed to this but I'm thinking about keeping it alive because repti-racks has been jacking people on deliveries for quite a while now and as a cage distributor myself, this is what kills business for everybody...I see this as a stupid issue...the man paid for the cage and repti racks should simply deliver it to wherever the buyer wants it...what the buyer did after purchasing the cage is his business.......

Repti-Racks: Is your business model designed to take the quick cash and destroy your reputation buy screwing over buyers? This guy paid his hard earned money during a crappy economy...You should be happy anyone is buying from you at all with all the negative posts about your "lead-time"...What a joke! Give the guy a tracking number or you're going to continue losing business due to this and all the other posts......This hobby has small community and word spreads fast.

Shadow: You wouldnt sell to me anyway.....Yeah right! I sell animals and cages to plenty of people I wouldnt call "friends".....Thats business and if you're only willing to sell to those that kiss your *#& then you'll be out quite a bit of business like Repti-Racks...

Not a problem Matt! I only got in because i got an email from someone who waited over 12 weeks to get hers and she will no longer buy from them again.
I read all the negatives they have and just felt like they are on their way out of business,and now are not even sending the cage to the people after is was paid for.WHY?
Your right though,why should Repti racks care where the cage goes if the buyer has paid for it and has given them permission to send it somewhere else.
I can accept if they will only ship to the payee,but ship already now.Or refund the money.But i would think they would not give back cash no matter how hard the op has worked for it.This is just another notch against them.
Matt,send me an email about your caging will you?I am starting to look again but wont buy from the last guy because of split caging, they would not hold their "Quality" standards to me and said it was for extra air or some lame joke he gave me thinking it was funny.$404 for splits.Not again!

ALSO id like to warn everyone don't do business with repti racks via paypal they claim it takes weeks for your product to be shipped

GUESS WHAT AFTER 45 days u can't file a claim so be very careful about paying this company and going over 45 days

if u don't get your product in 42 days or so file a claim asap!

What's the date on your transaction with Nick? SEPTEMBER 13th. What's today's date? December 5th. How many days is that? Few more than 45, to say the least.

If Nick was so gung ho to rip you off for that $120, don't you think he would have taken it back by now???

Given the POPULARITY of Repti-racks DESPITE their lead time...you probably could have waited until you had the cage in your own hands...then sold it for MORE than you paid for, just so someone else wouldn't have to suffer through that "ridiculous lead time".

at the same time judy repti racks should hold there end of the deal no matter what i asked for specific things no matter who it is sold to, i still shelled out 313.00 and i want to make sure it is shipped

and buyer gets everything i paid for it I DON'T CARE WHO owns it now or w.e but it seems repti racks hasn't even built anything they took the money and hasn't put any work into anything

O yea need i remind everyone how you tried to rip nick off in the process?when i bough the cage it was 42x3x18 i believe sorry if i have the dimensions off but it was close to this

i emailed repti racks and told them listen just do a 3x2x18 instead as i believe the above size was a tad big for me, then it was sold to nick

i told nick hey the cage was not built yet but i did change it to 3x2x18 but the original order was 42x3x18 nick spoke to repti racks telling them to revert it back to the original size i paid for repti racks had the nerve to try and tell nick he would have to pay more for the bigger size

me and nick did have this convo over fb during the time he bought it,i would also want to know as why would u charge him more for something that was fully paid off for by me for 313.00?once AGAIN REPTI RACKS STAY FAR AWAY!

another thing judy i needed a viv right away i bought a dragon aka spike x sunny at the time which was getting to big for a 10 gallon,so no matter what i had to buy a critter condo it's not fair to my dragon to be put in such a cramped space for weeks,nor was it fair for me to dish out extra money but i had to,i even asked him to refund me so i can get a critter condo to avoid all this he said no refunds,mind u he built nothing and got no parts or anything!

and secondly i couldn't have two cages in my home space issues esp since i leave them in the living room,but that wouldn't matter because the cage never got here from july to sept and even now no proof it was built.

Yes we had and we are working on that with a new manufacture starting Jan who can keep up with our demand.We have 2 more groups of orders left to be back at square one and completely done and starting with a NEW manufacture for the NEW YEAR COMING.

This might help any future customers, but have you considered a partial refund to some of your past customers that had to wait a rediculous amount of time for their cages? I've read a lot of posts from people that had to order from someone else because your cages were so late, costing them a lot of money. At this point I don't blame you for not shipping this cage to the op, but this whole mess could have been avoided if the lead time was more accurate.

Just curious to hear your thoughts on this as I'd like to try your cages someday but customer service is just as important as quality...

if the i got the promised lead time as he told me over the phone i would of waited but how could i wait when i had a dragon that needed moving?

in addition to asking for a refund i asked for half of the cost and told him to keep the rest but that was also refused,i just needed half for the critter condo

once again i was the one at loss here repti racks not you treat your customers better next time or better yet EX customers

here is proof i actually paid chris allen from toms river new jersery for a 3x2x18

add another 30 as i had to pay his friend who works locally to bring me the condo so it saved me time and a lot of gas money going to chris allen,like i said i didn't try to rip u off but i got bit in the behind spending a ton of money which i shouldn't have due to your horrid services had i known better i would of just did a charge back on paypal after i got the same excuses constantly from you.

Considering I have no intention of attempting to make my "living" off of my boas, I am pretty sure I am in the clear there.

As with all businesses, I have the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

I am not governed by the all mighty dollar. If I think you are a waste of space and not worth my time, I do not sell to you no matter how much money you have or are willing to spend, that simple. I do not need people to "kiss my " to sell to them. I just need them to be respectful, at least halfway intelligent and not blatantly ignorant.

You proved yourself to be all of the above a while ago. This thread just cements it.

If anyone thinks the OP deserves to get a rack he let someone else buy off of him and then passed that buyer off to Repti-Racks (hence why Repti-Racks and Nick began communicating, pay attention kiddies), then you are really just not paying attention or fail to understand basic concepts behind selling.

and he claimed it was built and ready to go

hence why repti racks refuses to send me tracking and has yet to show pics of the viv BECAUSE IT WAS NEVER BUILT SO WHAT THE HECK DID U DO WITH THE 313 DOLLARS U GOT?

A:tracking number and pics of the correct viv that was built which i originally paid for to make sure you include everything in it instead of trying to rip nick off as u tried to before with the size

OR B:refund nick 170 and refund me the rest,hence even tho nick paid 120 i am not money hungry like repti racks just for this trouble ill give nick extra funds,because like i said i have reason to believe the viv has not even been built yet so at the end u haven't lost money only me and nick thus far
