Frankly, I see some crazy crap from both sides ... from Rick actually picking up a seriously sick snake for the OP and not noticing or contacting anybody, to the OP poking syringes of unconfirmed substance (not to mention dosage) into a sick snake BEFORE he actually takes it to a vet and now Paul's alias. Good grief! Nuts!
I took the liberty of a couple screen shots:

Exactly! Stupid humans ....I also feel bad for the snake. Who knows what that poor critter went through

Paul, I would suggest that you address this.

Wow talk about blind faith!
Do you know the milligrams and cc amount? That alone could be complelty ineffective or kill the snake.
I've tried to stay out of this, however meds being distributed with out the known amount is just inexcusable behavior for both the seller and the buyer.
Can't wait to see those vet reports.
I got to the vets and she had the bill for me. I told her I needed a vet report and she said to come back tomorrow. As for dosages, I checked with the vet and he confirmed the dosage for the Baytril.

I thought your vet gave you Forzan? How did your vet confirm the dosage of Baytril when you never had the bottle showing the concentration?
I have something of a relationship with Dr boyd. I've used the doc for almost 20 years. Not the entire 20 years. I got out of herps for about 4 years. Other than that, I've watched his hair gray more each year. I called him and told him I had a ball python weighiing 1200 grams. What would the proper doage be for Baytril.
Yes, after looking back, I should not have trusted Paul with the Baytril. So in that respect, I was way wrong.
If you all want to know, I should have just taken the snake to Dr Boyd from the very beginning. I put too much trust in Paul and the Baytril. That's my bad.

Hey Paul,
You were just viewing this thread a few minutes ago. Why can't you answer the questions?
Steph... do you know Rick? Is he as good as the OP and seller state he is? Would he be able to tell an RI if he saw it?
I called him and told him I had a ball python weighiing 1200 grams
Or not. Remember, Jim had already administered what he believed to be Baytril in the proper dosage .. the weight of the snake was already in question earlier in the thread, I believe. Was the Baytril diluted? How old was it? Does Jim know? Probably not.Dr. Boyd could well have killed your snake himself with his dosage
