If you have him absolutely admitting that he knows nothing about the 8 other chams he's supposedly owed, that's ultimately a good thing. Glad if my little tip helped. BUT, you probably should have given more thought to the long-game and kept that little trick up your sleeve for a while, hoping he'd expose himself even more. You can pretty much bet that even someone as dim as Jason Ciccone won't be foolish enough to make that mistake again.
That's a bit of a half-measure. While it wouldn't hurt to have an independent third party listen and verify that the recording says what you're claiming, that'll still leave some room for doubt. Ultimately, the best course is to save the recording to your computer and then attach the audio file here in a post, for future reference.
