If you have him absolutely admitting that he knows nothing about the 8 other chams he's supposedly owed, that's ultimately a good thing. Glad if my little tip helped. BUT, you probably should have given more thought to the long-game and kept that little trick up your sleeve for a while, hoping he'd expose himself even more. You can pretty much bet that even someone as dim as Jason Ciccone won't be foolish enough to make that mistake again.

GOT UM!!!! I freakin got um. Just called him and he answered. Well thanks to a fauna member i put another tool on my belt. Phone call recorder. And between VA and New Jersey it was 100% legal. Only one party has to know about the recording device.
I have on recording me asking him about those 8 ambilobis. His response was "Craig I don't know what your talking about" I asked it several time and got the same answer every time.

Now next question is to you guys. How can I download this and save it on something.
It's the 2 minute something call. Conversation wasn't that long but you have to call a certain assigned number first then call Jay then merge the calls.
I tested it on my wife's phone just a couple mins prior.

You'll have to research the app. Talk to who ever recommended it.

I for one would like to hear it. That will show Jay and Julia for the scammers they are.

And yes VA is a one-party state. Saved my behind once with a sketchy contractor when I recorded our calls.

• Did Jay have permission to use your CC for this purchase?
• Why did Jay not send pictures of the "sick" chams to Craig?
• If the chams have MBD, why not send them back?

There are others, those are just the ones I remember.

That's a fantastic idea!!!!

That's a bit of a half-measure. While it wouldn't hurt to have an independent third party listen and verify that the recording says what you're claiming, that'll still leave some room for doubt. Ultimately, the best course is to save the recording to your computer and then attach the audio file here in a post, for future reference.

Dan that a great idea too. But I think I'll just have a 3rd party fauna member listen to it. When you start talking about files and attaching them somewhere else you may as well be speaking Russian to me. If it ain't the Internet I'm lost.

I'll throw my two cents in.

I've talked to Craig a few times, and have seen his animals, and wouldn't hesitate to do business with him.

However, I do see where the chameleon in Julia's chameleon could have had MBD. It's hard to tell on my phone, because I have to zoom in so when I get home I'll look on the computer. BUT, I know Jay has experience with chameleons so obviously it wasn't a big deal to him since he did get pictures.

Also, I'm curious as to why he didn't just send the chameleons back when he was offered a refund? In my opinion Craig has done everything correctly. I'm sorry you're having to deal with this Craig, and I hope it gets sorted out
