    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Is that site still up? I just went over there and saw the blurb at the top of the page saying I am trying to shut that site down. Now why in the world would I want to do that? It's got to be at the top of the list of the funniest things on the entire web. Actually I should capture all of it and archive it. Sooner or later someone is going to pay big bucks for examples of Funniest Web Sites or something, like they do for home movies.

Well what is so knee slapping funny about Mario's stand on internet censorship is the reason he has such a huge chip on his shoulder about myself and this site.

So what he got angry about at me was because I REFUSED to delete something he had posted within a thread. In effect he is angry because I did NOT apply his own brand of censorship to a post he made. :rofl:
 
The only problem with Fauna (namely the BOI) is it's full of long-winded, pseudo-wannabe-gumshoes who feel the need to stick their noses in situations that don't concern them, adding their own two cents (except their posts are more like $3.50). They add little information to the thread and usually beat it like a dead horse, so the average person wanting to find out about "joe shmoe" has to wade through pages and pages of crap to get to any real information.

That said, I think the BOI is an EXCELLENT idea and believe that Rich is usually quite fare (although warning someone for swearing in "hell" is quite silly), but due to these VERY select few it has turned into a big frat party...if you're not one of "us" you're going to get reamed...kind of like mob rule.

When did that happen? Are you sure you aren't referencing a thread that at one time was NOT in HELL and the points were awarded prior to having it moved into HELL?
 
Some people do tend to pick on others, it seems, BUT, when the "terriers" start tenaciously chewing on people ad nauseum without results they are usually repremanded and asked to curb their enthusiasm until a final resolution is made. Generally they do and the thread is back on track again.

It only takes one person sometimes to turn the tides in a whole new direction. Perhaps we all should try harder to be one of those people.

I look upon it also as, since the issues are brought up in the BOI, a public assistance forum, that it does concern us...all of us. We're a team. We work best together.
 
Keep in mind that in the 2+ years that site has been running, there have been less than 40, I repeat, 40 messages on thier forum. Kind of sounds like it is Mario that is being boycotted. Hmmm, what a shame....

Yeah, It looks like you are right.

That was early on when I set up the HELL forum as being a repository (or was it a suppository) for threads that were kicked out other parts of this site as being inappropriate. From what I can recall, I did not intend it to be used in the manner you chose to do so with your top to bottom profanity laced post. I don't believe at that time it was indicated anywhere that the forum was completely unmoderated and open for the sort of "stuff" you posted there. So you got warned for it. I guess you were just a little bit before your time there..... :toiletcla
